Very, very nice
I love the food and ambiance of this restaurant. We both had the sesame salad with grilled salmon. I will be back next week when my bookclub meets.
I love that they do so many additional, complimentary things for special occasions. My friend just commented that normally the presentation for salads at the table is more eventful, and they seem to have stopped doing that (salad comes in a clear cylinder and they swirl it onto the plate as they lift the cylinder off the plate). No complaints though—well worth every penny.
not my best experience. slow service. food was ok but not great. pricing was high for the quality and portion. valet was nowhere to be found.
We can always count on Seasons 52. It's one of those places you can take most anyone and know that you'll have excellent, attentive service along with a delicious meal. I am not embarrassed to say their mashed potatoes are my favorite in town! The mini-dessert tray is something none of us ever says no to. Truly the cherry on top!
Went for a girlfriend’s Christmas celebration. I had the peach Bellini. So yummy! It was 3 pm so we had small plates and drinks. Everyone was happy with their drinks. And the food was delicious as usual. Fresh salads, outstanding grilled salmon, tasty flatbreads. Thank you Lisa for timing everything perfectly!
One of our favorites. They have my dietary restrictions on file and always steer me in the right direction for yummy, safe options!
Great place for a larger group.. nice atmosphere, something for everyone in the menu, and affordable... champagne for the table for my birthday dinner was a nice touch.
Nice menu, ample portions, food was good. Overall, a bit pricey > we ordered two of the moderately priced entrees, split a salad and had two ice teas (no alcohol) - check incl tip was $65.
The server we had was awesome. She totally made our day with the special side dish from the kitchen, glass of champs and mini dessert. This is our third year celebrating our birthday during lunch at Seasons 52 and this year was even more special (30th) so we really appreciate the hospitality : )
We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Seasons 52. We were seated at a very nice, quiet booth as we had requested. The food was delicious; the staff was so friendly; the service was superb. We were three women celebrating a birthday. The Chef surprised us with a melt-in-your-mouth dessert (which, although fantastic, didn't stop us from also sharing some of your table-side dessert service.) Three glasses of champagne served as the final surprise and just topped off the whole experience.
One gal couldn't join us at the last minute and we all agreed that there will be a repeat performance at Seasons 52 in the very near future. Thanks to everyone for such a great night.
Seasons 52 - I definitely recommend it. You'll be glad you took my advice.
We had a fantastic experience at Seasons 52, yet again. This is our second visit there on Thanksgiving day and I'm amazed and how well run this restaurant is on such a crazy day. Our food was delivered quickly and it was hot and delicious. Service with the entire staff was fantastic, except for our particular server. She was great as well, but very slow and rarely visited our table. I feel like she had several tables in another room and we were her only table in our room. But overall, it was yet another spectacular experience. I highly recommend Seasons 52.
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving Dinner!
This was our first time ever celebrating Thanksgiving at a restaurant and Seasons 52 was the perfect spot. First, there’s something on the menu for everyone, a great selection of wine, and those yummy mini-desserts, and the service and atmosphere are just really nice without being stuffy. We opted for the Thanksgiving meal, which may have not matched up to what a big family gathering might put together, but it was delicious. The turkey was generous and the sides were traditional. I couldn’t decide on the wine, so I had a flight of their featured wines...perfect way to try them. My son had the tuna tartare for an appetizer and the sea bass and there was nothing left on his plate! The pumpkin pie mini-desserts provided the final touch of a Thanksgiving meal. Kayla was a gracious and cheerful server and we were grateful for her working on this holiday night. I hope she was able to celebrate earlier or later with her family.
Food wAs excellent.... service was good
Prompt AND congenial service never happens on holidays - but it did here. Crazy busy packed house but Ron - server/bartender - was infailingly pleasant and timely. Lovely evening.
Great thanksgiving meal!
For the second year in a row we went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was excellent! I love the way the dark turkey was pulled rather than sliced. Usually I don’t like dark turkey but it was very good!
Seasons 52 is always good. Service was good even though it was crowded. Thanksgiving meal was great. All 4 of us ordered that and enjoyed it with enough for leftovers. But 3 of us wished the plate would have come out hot. Got some extra gravy halfway through to warm up what was left on my plate, but it was lukewarm at best. We didn't really want to ask our waiter to take our 1/2 eaten plates to warm up in the microwave. Should have asked him to bring hot gravy. We will probably go here on Thanksgiving again next year.
Another excellent Thanksgiving dinner at Seasons52. The food was delicious and we had excellent service from Nicole!
Seasons 52 at Rookwood is one of our "go-to" restaurants. We like the varied menu that includes lots of pescatarian and vegetarian options that change with the season. Love that they are open all day, so it's possible to enjoy a meal in the late afternoon or early evening. Great that they have a choice of small desserts, so we can enjoy something sweet at the end of the meal without the guilt or need to share. Glad we can go casual, but often take friends or meet friends there, so it feels like an "occasion" restaurant, too. Some servers are a bit better than others, but that's the case everywhere. Overall, they
We had a company dinner at Seasons 52 for 12 people and the service could not have been better. We only had on server but she was absolutely fantastic. The appetizers, dinner and desserts were amazing!
This was the first time at this restaurant. The food was bland. We ordered the Korean Style Short Ribs as an appetizer and they had absolutely NO flavor. I couldn't even taste why it would be called a Korean Style. The short ribs didn't even have seasoning on them. My dad ordered the Lobster Bisque Soup and it had no chunks of lobster in it, or at least it should taste like lobster. It tasted like canned soup. Now to our entres. We all ordered the same thing, the Bistro Steak. This thing has ZERO seasoning on anything. I have never had a steak with no salt on it. Also, the green beans and potatoes just tasted like they were boiled and put on my plate. I had to put loads of salt and pepper on everything on my plate. The wine sauce was okay, although it didn't have much flavor, not that it was surprising. Dessert was the saving grace. Desser was great and love the way they bring it to the table and let you select it right there. It was just small enough to end the email on a positive note without feeling bloated. Overall not the worst meal but not worth $125 for three people. I will definatly not go back if this is how they flavor food.
Brandon, our waiter, was exceptional—service, recommendations, and fun! There’s something on the menu for everyone, and the menu has unique and interesting options. Love the way the menu changes for the seasons and the variety including the desserts.
Carlos was great!
Server could have been more attentive.
Everything else was great.
We first visited Seasons 52 in Phoenix this summer and totally enjoyed the food drink and ambiance. Cincinnati was over the top and is now a must stop when we visit
I frequent this location for business lunches and have always enjoyed exceptional service until Tuesday.
My companion had coupons for free flatbread, which seemed to issue a shift in his demeanor towards us that continued through the end of the meal. Maybe he was having an off day. The restaurant was not as busy as it has been in the past, but our server appeared to be otherwise occupied and nowhere to be found for most of our meal. He passed our table several times, but avoided eye contact while it seemed he was doing other things - which I understand is a part of serving - that are maybe less pressing than taking an order or refilling glasses. If that’s the case, perhaps grouping his tables closer together or more hands on the floor for clearing tables would be helpful for the future.
Seasons 52 is a great addition to our community. Wines are awesome, rotating, creative menu is wonderful. Only complaint is service. Lots of attention before you order, then food comes out randomly, you don't see your server again, and it takes forever to clear and get your check. It's almost like the server rotation is out of sync or something.
Seasons 52 is one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. Food is always excellent as well as the service. Plus the bartender, makes the best Manhattans.
Recommend the blanked salmon, sea bass (although I wish they would bring back the black rice with the sea bass) and the shrimp and grits.
The music is the bar area kept getting loud then quiet, it was funny but distracting.
Food was decent. Best part was the grilled chicken ravioli. Stuffed mushroom caps were disappointing as they were under-seasoned. Seared scallops were good, but outshined by the goat cheese risotto.
Four of went for dinner, ordered four different entrees and none of us liked our meals. The lamb special did not have any flavor at all, very bland. The scallops were okay, but the broccoli was raw. The steak was overcooked. The best thing on the menu was the tomato soup. The service was good, but room was crowded making hard for her to get around,.
The restaurant was very busy. We waited a long time before we got served, and then an even longer time before we got the entree. Young waiters, which seemed to know little about the food and wine.
Service was with Carlos & is always enjoyable.
And fun. Food was delicious as usual. Always a great dining experience for us.
It was really good. Seasons 52 never disappoints
Good food good drinks. My only observation is we felt that they were trying to free up the table as immediately after we sat down server asked for our drink order and i mean immediately
