Seasons 52 - Chestnut Hill
Seasons 52 is a comfortable and stylish fresh grill and wine bar offering a refreshingly balanced approach to food and wine where guests are free to enjoy, knowing any choice they make is one they'll feel good about. The menu changes with the season to feature ingredients at their peak, from whole produce that arrives and is kept 100% fresh, never frozen, to carefully sourced meats and pristine seafood. Entrées are oak-fire grilled or brick oven-roasted, without a fryer in sight, to be flavorful and naturally lighter. The Wine Bar pours world-class wines by the glass and signature cocktails. Enjoyed the soup (Butternut squash) and 1/2 flatbread (lobster and mozz). Our server was excellent: we enjoyed conversation. He was properly attentive. Loved the mini pecan pie dessert, too!
Went to celebrate a birthday with the family — Kevin went above and beyond, and the food and drink were phenomenal.
Exceeded expectations that were significantly lowered by COVID. This is the second time in months that we dined at a restaurant that doesn’t use COVID as excuse to reduce quality. This location is solid with service actually better than before and the same excellent food. Herd to recommend any specific dishes due to frequently changing seasonal menu, but mushroom and lobster bisques were great. We also enjoyed scallops, with my personal favorite truffled risotto (yes, with fresh burgundy truffles)!
Desert was great too - small portions but very creative and tasty.
The food was bland. We ordered 3 crab cakes and neither one tasted or looked the same. One had a burnt crust.
We sent the gnocchi back because it was that bad. The beef skewers and the tuna tartar were the best things we tried there.
By far my favorite spot. Loved sitting at the bar.
Amazing food and very good service
Beautiful, but windy, day for outside dining. Excellent food, but difficult to keep things from blowing away. All in all, a great experience.
Seasons 52 never disappoints on food. The new fall menu is great and our food was wonderful. The only issue we had was with the service - when we got there the hostess was visible frazzled and disorganized (for no apparent reason) and our server took our drink and appetizer order and we had to call them back to take our dinner order. Maybe just a bad day on service, as this is the first time I've ever had a less than stellar comment.
First timer. Food was excellent. Waiter Mike was very attentive and took good care of us.
The service was very good. The waitress was efficient and very friendly. Seasons 52 is our go to restaurant with our grandchildren. It’s they’re special treat restaurant.
Limited menu but spectacular
Enjoyed the tuna tartare very good
Will go back
Considering that we were outside in a tent due to the pandemic but plan on paying a return visit should tell you how much we liked this place. The Plank salmon with season so perfectly that I hardly needed to use the delicious dipping sauce. Plus, the portion controlled desserts were presented in such an inventive manner and were very cute as well as tasty.
food was great and our server mike was awesome!!!
Food was a bit disappointing though today (an exception)
Chicken salad included too many ingredients which might not fit all together (corn plus a blue cheese?!)
Salmon entree was too dry and its side dish was small
Best dinner in a long time. Will come back for sure. A lot.
Generous portions, beautifully presented and delicious.
Amazing service!! Awesome food! Can't wait to go back!
We sat outdoors in the section outside of the tent, which has better ambience than under the tent, but the sun can be quite intense even with the umbrellas, which are stationery. Our server was friendly and efficient. The mahi mahi tacos were excellent and the Caesar salad that my mom had looked very fresh, and the side of grilled chicken was quite generous. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time (which has not always been the case at this location, even pre-pandemic). This was one of the best meals I have had at this location overall.
Chilean sea bass was delicious, but at $33? Woah - surprised at that expense, actually. BUT overall continue to enjoy the food and experience.
Eat there often. Always good
Amazing experience! Food was great
Excellent outdoor dining experience under a tent.
We ate outside, the service was good and the food was exceptional as usual. I hope as the weather gets colder they will continue to serve outside and use heaters.
Staff sand food were sensational!!!
Just great from drinks to dessert. And Seasons 52 has done great at social distancing the tables. Felt very comfortable
Wonderful outdoor dining experience.
Outstanding food quality and waitstaff service. Variety of menu choices. Also, list
calories for each dish
My elder friend and I felt quite comfortable with the cleanliness, distancing and masking of staff and the safety of the overall environment. We enjoyed our burger and fish tacos. Wait staff was attentive and responsive..
Consistently good, does not disappoint, great local spot!
Attentive, personalized service. Food was excellent!
Great food and service!
great back to school lunch with my daughter. The crab polenta was fabulous!
We had a wonderful server, the food was great and the outdoor setting worked well. Will be back soon for sure!
First time we ate outdoors in the COVID-19 era. Good social distancing and masking by staff. Food was excellent, better than we had remembered it when we thought it was excellent. Customized flat bread represented no problem. there side vegetables are always cooked perfectly and very tasty
Very good outdoor dining. Tables are well spread out, feel safe Will do it again soon.
The waiter was fantastic and the entire experience was superb. Was not worried at all about safety protocols.
Fantastic experience. We were sat underneath the tent which immediately set the tone for the evening. Beautiful lights decorated the roof of the tent while we were surrounded by beautiful plants around the perimeter. Our server Sam was calm, cool, relatable and very knowledgable about the menu. Chef Brian made sure to accomodate to our needs and hand delivered our filet and lobster dishes. The managing partner Jon checked in with us a few times to not only decant our Chateau Musar but also share some laughs. My girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed from beginning to end. Exceptional evening that would not have been possible without the entire team in Chestnut Hill.
Delicious food , tasty and imaginative. The salad would have been better with less dressing but the salmon was cooked to perfection
Great food and service. They’ve added additional outdoor seating, which is why we decided to eat here. Easy to socially distance, we enjoyed one of our 1st meals out since COVID. We’ll be back, hoping they’ll add outdoor heaters as the weather turns colder!
