Great experience for my son's 18th birthday! Staff was warm, inviting, kind and thoughtful! Also gave us a signed card by all the staff for his birthday and a discount card to come back. Great experience.
We had a great experience. Our waiter, Greg, went out of his way to help us. We had a nice evening.
Our server was verslow. The food was good, the restaurant had good ambience, but the service left much to be desired.
Enjoyed the food and the server was very attentive! Loved the atmosphere!
The dinner was wonderful. We were a party of 7 celebrating a birthday and the service was exceptional. My only complaint is the noise level. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting. We’ll go back but maybe when it’s less crowded.
Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant went over and beyond to make everything special. The waiter was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their food. I highly recommend them.
Came here for lunch because my significant other had a coupon for a free flat bread pizza and I had a gift card I wanted to use up. She enjoyed her pizza and I had the naked burger which was excellent. The service was very good and we especially like the ambience. It is very tastefully decorated without being glitzy or pretentious. I am glad I still have one more gift card to use. Wish they would open another one in the Metro West area...hint, hint.
The dining experience and food was great. A little disappointed to be seated so much later than our reservation but getting a nice booth put us back in a good mood.
Even though it was busy we were seated on time. Server was prompt, professional and polite. Lobster Bisque and Beet Salads were tasty and filling. Steak was a little undercooked but not enough to send back. One in our party did not care for the steak sauce but the other 2 enjoyed it. Overall a very good experience.
Healthy and tasty choices! Worth your time and prices are reasonable.
It was all good. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, that is my only complaint.
Plain chicken missing filet not tender as usual
Great service and food. There is something for everyone and the little desserts are delicious- the perfect bite
I love Seasons 52 in Chestnut Hill and I am a frequent patron. Just a quick note to the restaurant to suggest that you look at the Open Table reservation to see if there is a particular "occasion" that is being celebrated. Again it was my birthday (because of course I always go to Seasons on my birthday!). This time I, again, made the reservation (and checked "birthday"). My friend took me for lunch and had not been there before so did not know about your wonderful deserts that you are known to bring over with a candle when a birthday is being celebrated.
As such I again found it awkward when the waiter (who otherwise was very good) came over after bringing the coffee and asked if we wanted to see the deserts. At that point I just said "no" and left without saying anything to the server or to my friend. Just thought you should know.
Meal and atmosphere were great.
This was a lousy Valentine’s Weekend celebration. The waitress tried hard but she and her colleague couldn’t execute. The chef overcooked my 6 oz filet mignon. I ordered it with a lobster tail. They took it back but gave me the same lobster tail. But by now it was tough and over heated.
Then I watched them drop food on another couple’s boots. Laughable. The drinks were good, we had a very good bottle of wine even though it was the cheapest red they offer.
They comped our desserts as an inconsequential concession.
I won’t go back though for a $170 meal.
Great as usual! We had a very friendly, competent waitress. Food was delicious, never disappoints. I had a $20 bonus gift card that said it could not be used with others, but I was allowed to use all my gift cards which I appreciated. Top restaurant for me!
The food was very good, but the service and presentation were not. For example, the first time the waitress came to our table to take our order, she had an armful of dirty plates from another table. We were grossed out by this and just declined to order at that time. We asked for limes on the side with our water. They were not on the side, but instead there were 3 on a toothpick inserted into the glass -- and no plate was provided to put the used limes on. We were never offered (or brought) any bread prior to or during the meal. My friend asked for a teaspoon to assist in getting out the lump crab stuffed mushrooms, which were served in an escargot plate (very odd). We were brought long parfait spoons. The waitress stood very closed to our table when shaking a drink for our neighboring table (so that her behind was pretty much in our face), and the shaking motion was almost intrusive to our space. The waitress cleared all of our plates and side plates at once, stacking them all in her arms...and then proceeded to drop a dish of melted butter and another of sriracha on some people at another table on her way to the kitchen (and breaking the plate when it fell to the floor in the process). I ordered a cup of tea at the end of my meal and was brought a cup, my teabag and a small pot of boiling hot water. There was no saucer to put the used teabag on, no spoon, and no container of sugar / sugar substitute packets that I had asked for. I asked for those three items and they eventually were brought to the table. Why were there no bussing staff? Saturday night is a busy night at this restaurant, as I have been there many times before. This trip was very disappointing, to say the least. On the plus side, my petite filet was done perfectly and my dietary restriction requests were met without issue. Not sure what's going on here, but I will think twice about returning in the short term...
Delicious food and romantic vibe
Was very busy and the back staff kept getting our table mixed up with the one next to us.
Pretty restaurant but food was unfortunately underwhelming. We got the warm spinach dip. I really didn’t like it but ate it because I was so hungry. Their bread basket was really good. That was the best part of the meal. The bread was salty and very yummy. I had the 6 oz filet. It was undercooked. Mashed potatoes were very blah. It came w green beans that were very crispy. The mushroom sauce on the steak was bad. Very strong. I scraped it off. The dessert was fun-choice oh small mousses in shot glasses. The one my boyfriend got was awesome. Mine was so so. I probably won’t go back.
The food was excellent though one steak came out underdone for the request. I think that was on waitstaff. I think she was weak. Other staff seemed on top of things. The mixed drinks were all ice and alcohol was underpoured. But seriously the food was stellar. I would go back.
Great food and our server,Ryan was awesome.
Seasons 52 has become our go to place for dinner. Really enjoy it there.
Jonathan Freedman and Crew went out if their way in assisting me in celebrating VALENTINE’S DAY
The Filet I had and my wife’s Lamb were both 10s
Have never had a bad meal, and always good service. If you want quitter, as for a table in the back.
Noise level...Energetic...Oh wait that was us, Galentine's Dinner with 6 of us we might have overwhelmed other diners but not our lovely waitress. Everything start to finish was perfect. Thanks for having us. Nancy
As usual all was great. Initially my lamb loin was undercooked but Sam, our server, brought it back. The Executive Chef personally delivered it and it was to perfection. I think there was additional meat as well. Very nice comfy, cozy restaurant.
I loved the “naked” burger
Always nice visit good meal quiet enough to talk and enjoy company
Courtney was nice and attentive. Food was phenomenal and came out in good timing: not too fast not too slow. Great place. I’ll be back.
I treated two of my friends to lunch and they raved about the food. They both had the lump crab sandwich and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Everything was delicious. I have eaten in Seasons 52 for dinner many times
and have always liked the meals I had. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends.
Waiting time was more than 1 hour
chicken stuffed w/basil ricotta was delicious but serving size a bit small...came with green beans and broccoli which I opted for instead of rice. could use a bread basket..cause the entrée is not enough to satisfy when you are hungry...asked for bread and got 3 short sticks of bread with ice cold butter...bread was totally forgettable...you need to do better. Husband had steak with cognac cream sauce..size very small..maybe on a good day it was 6 oz and barely a tablespoon of sauce..disappointing. Generally, food is very good..service can be spotty..Had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill of my soft drink as I was unable to flag down a waiter for literally 5 mins. As soon as they saw me do this, a bunch of wait staff came to assist. Where were they when I tried to get their attention?
Pricey and loud
Food and server were very special. Large room was not overly full but very noisy for an early Wednesday evening. Special dinner menu was fun and affordable for a lovely dinner.
Always have a great dining experience at Season's 52!
It was a late reservation (9.30) and the dining rooom had a closed down feel; chairs stacked on the tables, lights off, etc. lots of “clean up” going on all around us. Felt very rushed to eat and leave.
Our server went home after taking our order and failed to communicate well with his successor who was unclear if we had ordered or not.
The service was very poor. Rushed, items not cleared. Meal served while appetizers were still on the table. No ground pepper offered. Had to ask for steak knives. No candle for desert for guests having birthday. Overall bad experience.
