Seasons 52 - Chestnut Hill
Seasons 52 is a comfortable and stylish fresh grill and wine bar offering a refreshingly balanced approach to food and wine where guests are free to enjoy, knowing any choice they make is one they'll feel good about. The menu changes with the season to feature ingredients at their peak, from whole produce that arrives and is kept 100% fresh, never frozen, to carefully sourced meats and pristine seafood. Entrées are oak-fire grilled or brick oven-roasted, without a fryer in sight, to be flavorful and naturally lighter. The Wine Bar pours world-class wines by the glass and signature cocktails. Poor service. Mediocre food.
Excellent food and service. First time dining here and will be back.
Always delicious!!! Jess is the best!! We always feel welcomed!!
Getting together with old friends after a couple of years
We have been going to Seasons 52 for years for good quality food and drink. As this was a birthday celebration, we thought we would have an exceptional experience...we did not.
Waitress greeted us. Did not bring us water (we asked multiple times).
I ordered tea and the waitress couldn't tell me what kind it was...she only asked if I wanted hot or cold.
Food selections needed adjustments due to dietary restrictions. Waitress got it wrong.
Waited a while for starters and watched the chef walking around the restaurant. Hostess kept doing tours with her iPad checking to see when we were going to leave.
Took a few minutes to get it adjusted.
Plates were hot. Food warm not hot.
Never saw our waitress again until the bill came.
Food was excellent!love going each season! Service was terrific! Highly recommend it!
Excellent Maui Tuna on salad. Reasonable prices and good service.
We went for Thanksgiving. They had both a special menu and the regular menu.
Excellent service! Thank you Dean, you made our experience a wonderful and unforgettable one!
Service was attentive. Food was yummy. Atmosphere was good. Really enjoyed having Thanksgiving dinner at Seasons52
Great service and so glad they were open on Thanksgiving. We are from out of town and it was a nice dinner with family
An excellent experience at Seasons 52 on Thanksgiving. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time, had excellent and friendly service, and the food was delicious.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was amazing but the portion was small and we were disappointed .
I really appreciate the fact that when I make my reservation on Open Table and request a particular seating accommodation, the restaurant always accommodates my request.
Outstanding! One of the best Thanksgiving meals we have ever had! Best turkey ever! We will likely never cook Thanksgiving meals again if you continue to offer this Holiday meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding food, drink, and service. Alisha, our server, was attentive without being intrusive. She was warm and caring. We appreciated the manager checking in on us. Again, outstanding experience. We will return yearly!
Great Thanksgiving meal. Everyone was satisfied with the service and presentation.
Quick and friendly service. Our soup was delivered promptly but the sever noticed that they brought a cup not a bowl. She immediately went to the kitchen and returned to the table with a bowl. Beyond the call of duty
Excellent food and service
We sat at the bar as two seats opened up while we were waiting for our reserved table, it sounded like there were some unhappy customers checking in who had reservations and were told they would be waiting close to half an hour for their table, so we thought it would help if we gave up our table and took the two seats at the bar. Food was delicious, Service was good as he was very busy, we were asked to move down a seat by some customers who were coming in, this happened twice but no problem, it helped for people to be able to sit. Eventually a woman came in and asked us to move again so she and her mother could sit which we happily did, it was apparently her mom‘s 90th birthday coming up and so we ended up having a nice conversation with them as did the two guests on the other side of the daughter. We talked and talked, the other couple made sure that the mother turning 90 would get a dessert, It was all very nice. What was confusing was that as we were all finishing up and paying our checks, the other four customers were given a coupon of some sort for future use, perhaps just a dessert or something small but that’s where it ended. Perhaps I am missing something and they had a connection to our shared server, it was just very awkward as the other couple made a comment that we would have to celebrate with this woman when she turned 91 with our coupons, and we just smiled and paid our bill. Again, not a big deal by any means but very awkward. Otherwise, we all had a lovely evening and met some new friends
We both enjoyed our meals and the service. Both of us have dietary concerns and the wait staff answered our questions and explained the choices that would work for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the well-prepared meals.
Food was fantastic. Flatbread pizza delicious. Polenta with crabmeat amazing. Little dessert awesome. We will definitely return to one of their locations.
I’m a regular at Seasons 52 and know they can and do better than our experience last evening. I made a reservation for 7:30 and was there ready to be seated at 7:30. We did not get seated until 7:50. We waited about 10 mins for a server to even come to our table. We ordered a bottle of wine, soups and our meals. We got the wine, soups and entree’s all within 3 mins of each other. There was no time to enjoy anything without the food being placed immediately on top of one of other. By the time we could enjoy our entrees they were cold. I ordered the pork and it wasn’t cooked properly. I looked for our waitress to address it but she didn’t come over for quite some time. She didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert she just out the receipt down. After waiting 10 mins to get her attention I went to the bar to get my friend and I a glass of wine for our dessert. She informed me that last call was at 9. Our waitress made no effort to tell us that. We left and went elsewhere for dessert and wine. We would have spent the money at Seasons 52 had someone asked.
Went with small child, the child received her Mac n cheese quickly, which was great. Food & service is always wonderful! More people are discovering this place, which is great for the restaurant! We still enjoy coming here!
We love love love Seasons 52!! Always perfect for us! Food, service, friendliness and wonderful Jess!!!
Our birthday dinner was excellent. Our waitress was so friendly snd the food vey good. The room however was quite cold so I had to keep my cost on the entire night - all four of us were cold.
Today’s experience was definitely not in alignment with the standards of the restaurant.
The waiter was incredible as was the food! I will definitely be back!
Seasons 52 (Chestnut Hill) is an excellent dining experience. Service, food and ambience, all outstanding. We dined on a Saturday afternoon. It was a relaxing and enjoyable occasion. Access to the restaurant from Rt. 9 is easy and there was plenty of available parking. Great menu. Make sure you begin with a flatbread!
Always great food and drinks! Filet mignon was amazing and so was the Mac and cheese. Tried the seasonal sangria and that was also delicious!
Delicious, great service (Jess and Lindsey)! Makes every dining experience wonderful!!!!!
Wonderful dinner! Definitely can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful food and drinks. Great service
Great way to end a special morning
There was a party of ten near us and a woman at the table was clearly drunk and continually laughing shrilly. It was hard to talk and hear each other. We could t wait to finish our dinner and leave.
Lindsey was terrific. Enjoyed the grilled trout.
Terrific venue: the food and ambiance are excellent. We recommend the scallops and the shrimp and grits. For appetizers, the Korean beef skewers and the lump crab cake are must-haves. Sadly, like so many restaurants these days, they are clearly in need of staffing. Fortunately, this place is worth the eait. We will definitely be back!
Everything was exquisite. The food is excellent and fresh; it doesn’t leave you feeling bloated and sick like most restaurant food. Our server (Samantha) was awesome!
