This was my third time here and it was the best. Excellent choice for lunch! Excellent service and food.
SERVICE WAS GREAT. OUR SERVER WAS ATTENTIVE AND CHECKED ON OUR NEEDS THROUGHOUT THE MEAL. UNFORTUNATELY THE FOOD WAS AVERAGE AT BEST. THE MUSHROOM SOUP WAS SO SO BUT THE MEATLOAF WAS VERY SALTY. IT WAS JUST NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO HAVE EITHER SPENT MORE MONEY AND HAD A GREAT MEAL OR THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WAS REALLY A "FIND". NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MY OWN. I JUST WOULD NOT GO BACK.
We arrived for an 8:00 reservation and were not seated until 8:35 while a stressed staff argued with each other and fumed in front of us. A couple who arrived after us but complained were seated before us. When we were finally seated, we were not waited on for quite a while, and when our appetizers were brought out, the server said ...and the tuna....and put down avocado toast and quickly left. We waited another while, trying to get the attention of our server to replace the wrong item. My steak was too well done, and just didn’t taste great. Our waitress was friendly, but obviously not trained in serving wine. Overall, a very disappointing evening.
Waited one half hour despite having an Open Table reservation.
First of all, the name should of been Samuel Bergman and not George Lefort. That name will be deleted in the future on my system.
The service was excellent, and the food was very tasty . There was very little waiting even though the restaurant looked filled to capacity.
I really like Seasons 52 and have been there many times.
Food is really well done and I like the ambiance.
Drink prices are getting high.
It’s now $75 per person at Seasons 52 which is Downtown Boston prices. This the reason for the medium value score.
Delicious meal, very good service.
Our waiter Carlos was helpful and fun. The food was great.Amazing pineapple martini!
Only complaint...Wasn't able to say Hi to Barbara...I am a regular at Burlington Location
Our server, whose name I believe was Cedric was very attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Seasons 52 to a friend
Excellent staff and wonderful waitress!
Attentive despite the busy evening!
Kudos to the Mgmt!
Outstanding every single time
The location of my table could’ve been way better. I was slightly squished between tables and felt like we were all having dinner together.
Though the restaurant was busy for our valentine's day dinner, the service and quality did not disappoint! The food and drinks were wonderful and we will be back soon!
We love the Seasons 52 in Burlington. However, the one in Chestnut Hill is no where near as good. The quality of the food and the atmosphere was lacking on valentines day. The service was still good.
We arrived on time and we were seated within minutes. The server and staff were very friendly. The food was very tasty and the steak and lobster was a good price. I plan on eating there again.
my husband and I had a wonderful time on Valentine Day. the food was fantastic and the service was great.
This was our third time at Seasons 52. The first two were great -- good food, fine service. This time, the service was so-so -- the waiter kept trying to upsell us, we got no bread, I ordered a cup of soup but got a bowl, the entrees came out before we were done with our soups.... Because our first two times were so good, we'll certainly go back. If this had been our first time, though, I would be on the fence about going back.
LOVE Seasons 52! Always a consistent experience, great food, awesome menu and drinks. Our server, John was great. Perfect mix of knowledgeable, available, pleasant and patient. During a snowstorm it was quiet and still a lovely experience. Thank you!
Mistake on appetizer—redo took some time to come out. Service could have been better.
Food was food.
Shrimp and grits had too many tomatoes...sauce needed more flavor.
Great place to go to celebrate birthdays!
Food was good. I prefer a bit more seasoning. Servers were very pleasant. Space was much larger than expected.
We had a very nice meal. It was helpful that menu had the caloric content included. Portions are on the small size so don't go there if you are really hungry.
Our experience this time was not great. The "flatbread" offered before the meal is like crispy crackers, not bread. The roasted cauliflower appetizer is a difficult mess. My pomegranate martini was good (I requested they leave out the margarita part) though it was spilled a bit, but it was our waiter's first day, so a few things were forgiven. My mom's blueberry martini was taken off the bill because what she actually wanted was just a shot of vodka to go with her iced tea. Her fish (I think it was the trout) was way too big, at a restaurant which usually serves smaller portions. My gnocchi with winter vegetables was not very good but I figured I just didn't particularly like one of the seeds or spices used. My dad had the tuna, which was okay. After we left, we realized it seemed like we were having an allergic reaction to something (maybe the free amuse-bouche salmon bites offered because we were celebrating?) that we all ate. The desserts are always good, though and a perfect size for just a little something sweet without overindulging.
Bad food and even worse service! I will not be going back anytime soon.
This restaurant is just fabulous! The best value any where. Elegant, affordable and fantastic food!! Great find for our larger family gatherings!! Keep it going!!
Wonderful meal with friends after a musical matinee at the Opera House - a perfect ending to a wonderful day!
Food was good but service was lacking. The pour from the bar was terrible for the cost of the drink. At the size of the pour, anything over 4-5 drinks is pure profit. Service was fair. We asked for bread and our server forgot all abou
The best service we’ve had in a long time. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and the staff brought us all glasses of bubbly; then well-presented apps, and after dinner, special desserts! Outstanding. Food is good, not pretentious, very good wine list. Softly lit, tables were well set apart from each other. Very nice restroom. All in all, impressive. Congratulations.
This is the second time at this restaurant that the serve overcharged us for the wine, Our wine was $7.50 for a glass. They charged us $13.00. I asked to speak to manager-they were too busy to come to our table. Although I have liked this restaurant in the past, the last two times I've been there suggest that quality has gone done hill.
Love the big quiet booths knowledgeable waitresses great food
We celebrated my husbands birthday and it felt very special. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. I particularly recommend the scallops. The gnocchi were just OK.
Brendan was amazing as per usual, favorite restaurant in Boston!
The crabcake sandwich (handheld) and the homemade pickles were delicious.
Tried this place for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. Good service, excellent food, and it didn't break the bank.
We have dined at Seasons 52 many times but my meal this time was not good at all! I ordered Wood-Grilled Handline Tuna rare. It arrived well done and was so dried out that it had no flavor. We were with friends who were there for the first time so unfortunately I didn't say anything to our waiter. Besides it was extremely busy this Sunday night and while our waiter was good he didn't return to the table after our meal was served and almost finished. I would never order or recommend the Tuna!
Excellent service, delicious dinner and drinks, and a desert presentation like no other!
We started with sharing the mushroom flatbread - which was delicious. Three of us had the Pork Tenderloin with roasted root vegetables and sweet potato purée. The other entree was salmon with roasted potatoes and cauliflower. We recommend each of these dishes.
The four of us agreed that the food was not that good. Very average and with not that much flavor . It was our first time there. The place is very cozy and good ambiance which it may motivate us to go back with my girlfriends to enjoy each other without expecting too much of the food.
We enjoyed it.
