We had not been back to Seasons 52 in a while. Took our College student daughter (vegetarian) on this visit and had a mixed experience. First, Seasons 52 was out of Mac/Cheese - a primary reason for dining. Second - it appears since we did not order drinks - our service from our waiter deteriorated. In fact it took extra long for our simple dinner order to come out of the kitchen. I provided a 15% gratuity to indicate my frustration. My meal grilled meatloaf was "dry" and there was not much sauce or flavor on the fresh potatoes.
In deference to my wife and daughter, I did not say anything during our meal But, I will not be rushing back to Seasons 52. At higher price point expect the main courses to be as fresh as you indicate and not run out of food you know will be in demand.
Wow...what a great meal...will definitely go back. The Filet Mignon was done to perfection.
Took our son who was home on Spring Break and our neighbor for dinner during Dine Out Boston. I had requested a certain waiter and when I was called on the phone to confirm the reservation, the restaurant also confirmed the winter was there that evening. When we arrived I was told he was "serving food" that evening and not waiting tables. I was very disappointed. If we go again, I will confirm he will be there as a waiter, hence the 4 not 5 stars overall. Our server was fine, but I was expecting another.
great location call for reservation sunday h very goof
I've had two very good experiences. The food has been consistent.
We frequent this restaurant because of local ingredients and healthy choices. The wait staff are always pleasant and competent.
another great meal....the ONLY thing that would Make Seasons 62 better is a few nice beers on tap.
Celebrated a 21st birthday with our extended family last weekend. A wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Seasons 52 for great food and service. Our party had a range of dining limitations and preferences and all were met. Will definitely return and recommend to friends. Thank you!
Even though our first choice didn't work out due to food allergy reason, the replacement dish was delicious, the service was excellent and extremely accommodating. Always have been a fan of season 52, and will continue to be a fan for years to come.
My reserved 8:30 low table was not ready, brought to bar area instead. Refused seating there...waited. Brought to noisy table. Had to ask for water. Waiter wanted to leave by 10pm even though open until 11pm. You have to be kidding me. I expect more for the price charged.
The gluten free lobster flat bread was so delicious.
Food was, as always, fresh and delicious. I’m a repeat visitor and plan to continue to be.
It’s been a while since I ate here and I had forgotten how wonderfully fresh and tasty the food is here. My friend and I split the cauliflower head for appetizer and we each had the cedar-plank salmon for our main course. The fish was cooked perfectly, the roasted veggies were caramelized and delicious. They were also very accommodating with menu modifications due to allergies . I will not wait so long (over a year) to return next time.
We both ordered of the pre-fixe menu. The offerings were balanced and each course was very good. The mini-desserts were just enough. The service was just too quick, making us feel as if we were being rushed out to get the table clear. We each had just a few bites of our first course when the main course arrived at the table. Aside from this, it was a very good evening.
Always a great experience for dinner.
My wife and I went to Seasons with another couple to have dinner and catch up.
As usual, the chef and staff at 52 really hit it out of the park and we were all very happy with our drinks and food.
They were offering a "Hello Spring Special Menu", three courses for $29.90 which sounded like a great, reasonable night out with friends.
For the first course, my wife and our guests opted for the Crisp Romaine and Baby Kale Caesar Salad with shaved Parmesan and toasted ciabatta croutons. All were very happy with their choice.
I chose the Creamy Potato and Roasted Leek soup which I thought was outstanding save the lack of a few potato lumps-Just a personal preference of mine, bit of a rustic I suppose.
For course number two our guests chose the Curried Snapper with blistered tomatoes
in a Thai green curry sauce.
My wife chose the Petite Filet Mignon with wild mushrooms, gold potato, asparagus and a burgundy sauce, perfectly cooked and excellent flavor.
I chose my regular dish at 52, Boneless Beef Short Rib, slow braised, stone ground cheddar grits, heritage carrots, horseradish cream. As usual Superb!
For the third and final course, we asked for the tater tray. For anyone who knows 52, they make their deserts in small glass shot glasses and offer many different flavors. Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, Pecan Pie, Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte, Mocha Macchiato , Raspberry Cheesecake with Tiny Cannoli, Raspberry Chocolate and Belgian Chocolate S'more.
Usually, one chooses one of the deserts but as we had guests we asked they leave a tray with one of each to taste and share. Again, superb!
I can't say enough about this establishment, they always provide great food at a fair price and their lunches are also superb. In point of fact, I had stopped by for lunch that same day there as I really enjoy their Chili and Blackened Fish Tacos.
We are lucky to have such a nice place right in our neighborhood!
Always a wonderful dining experience.
Our table was very nice and big. Our server Shane was great. I had scallops that were terrific. The salmon and tuna and steak was also tasty. We had a few apps brushetta and cauliflower were nice.
Great! We enjoyed the atmosphere, food & drinks! Very friendly service & prompt:)
Went with friends. Found great food, good atmosphere, a thriving place. Service was very good. Lived up to our expectations.
Great food and service. Usual Saturday night noise and bustle. Routinely visit here and always enjoy it
As always food was very tasty & cooked to perfection. Easy to follow one's diet with most all the food on the menu. Good service & great ambiance.
We have eaten here several times and always find it very good. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly and we all enjoyed it. I would recommend this restaurant to someone who was looking for a simple meal without a lot of extras or sauces. I had the grilled trout, which was a large piece of fish served with roasted vegetables and potato, a great healthy meal , cooked perfectly.
Love this restaurant. Experienced it numerous times.
Great place for a light lunch.
My wife liked the resteraunt that we booked another lunch the following day. The menu was excellent , the food delicious and the service was wonderful. would recommend it to anybody
This is the third time we went to Seasons 52. The meal and service was improved over the previous visit. My lobster bisque was tasty and my husband's chicken soup was very good. We ordered cocktails before dinner and they were good as well. Husband had a mango jalapeno cocktail which was nice - not very spicy or hot - and I had a lemon drop martini ( a substitute for the drink I originally ordered that they no longer had available. Perhaps they ran out of a mixer, eg. pineapple juice).
I had scallops and my husband had beef short rib. Everything was tasty with the exception of the heritage carrots which were roasted - a bit overdone and soft.
We shared a small dessert - very small carrot cake in a shot glass. We should have realized that it would be a tasting sample with a price of $3.
The server brought us the bill without checking to see if we wanted anything else such as tea, coffee, etc. That seems to be common in restaurants - that has happened on several occasions at various venues.
All in all an enjoyable time.
Mostly just fine. I'm a coffee addict and would have liked to see our waiter more often. The food was good. I thought the prices were OK.. I'd go again.
Great food and great service. Easy access off highway location.
Food was excellent. Desert amazing
Otherwise had a great night with great friends.
We had reservation at 7pm which was made a week in advance , we arrived 5 minutes early but had to wait till 7:25 to be seated !!!! I guess they over book tables and have no priority for guest who have reservations . Any way we had been to season 52 few times before at a different location but never had this experience . The appetizers we ordered were all excellent except the roasted cauliflower which was very mushy with no presentation just a piece of soft cauliflower with white cheese on a white plate Not appetizing at all !?!?
My friend ordered perseco and they were out of it !!! On a Saturday night they should make sure they have adequate stock of alcohol
my vegetarian entree was bland with soft broccoli and speghetti squash that had not much in it no matter how much I scraped !!!
The other 3 entrees were tasty with beautiful presentation
Because of our long wait and our dismay the manager stopped by to apologize and offered to take the appetizers off the bill which was a great gesture
We like the restaurant because of the variety of choices on the menu and the great cocktails and the value is also good
My husband's daughters birthday. Dinner was fantastic food was perfect. Jack our waiter was efficient and knowledgeable and paid the right amount of attention to our table. Was a good night all around. Fun by all and we try other places but always come back to you.
Love the flatbread and wine combo. Delicious bite sized desserts. Nice wine selection. Friendly courteous wait staff. Warm inviting atmosphere.
Always great! The best seasonal menu around!
Always a great place for lunch or dinner. Wonderful seasonal menu, always well-prepared, and consistently attentive and personable staff!
Every visit to Seasons 52 is the same - wonderful. The staff is so incredibly gracious and efficient it makes the experience a real joy. I love Seasons 52
everything was outstanding - there were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our evening dinner
Denise is a fantastic server . . . excellent food as well
Not the place to go if you have food allergies. They have gluten free and dairy free menus but no gluten free bread. Poorly supplied kitchen for those that can not eat all foods. Server was pleasant but could not help me much because of lack of food I could eat. I could only have a plain hamburger with no roll or bread. Need some plain foods to offer.
The food and service was great! Our server was very attentive to our table and answered any questions we had.
