Seasons 52 - Burlington

Food was exceptionally well prepared. Sea Bass was perfectly prepared, perhaps there best I've ever had. Friendly accommodating service. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Different than my usual experience here...service was erratic and poorly timed which is fine if my server is busy, but seeing so many staff standing around by the food expo area while our server struggled in front of them made it become a frustrating situation. Food was great as usual though and the host staff are the best in town. Will be going back here soon.
Great food. Great atmosphere.
Kelsey was the best
Enjoyed our dinner in the back room, quiet enough to carry on a conversation.
4 mushroom flatbread (gluten-sensitive version) - excellent, perhaps a little heavy on the fresh scallions topping but we easily picked some off to suit individual preferences.
Lump crabcake (not GF) - moist, generously full of fresh crabmeat! Delish!
California golden beets salad (w/ goat cheese, toasted pistachios, micro basil, chive oil) - beautiful balance of sweet and tangy. Lovely.
Maui Tuna Crunch - entree salad - perfectly executed torched seared tuna slices with chunks of ripe and underripe mango for flavor and texture - delicious!!
Cedar plank roasted salmon - filet of salmon roasted perfectly, infused with hint of cedar. The roasted marble potatoes and grilled asparagus were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Yum.
Least favorite dish was the Kona-crusted lamb loin entree. Prepared as one piece of lamb loin (thick flank steak style) sliced after roasting. There was an unexpected gray oxidized layer under the sear which was a little off-putting - we asked for a rare cook and got a perfect pink rare center though. They know how to cook meat! Lamb flavor was mild and fresh. The zucchini potato mash needed a tad more salt - so didn’t hit “amazing” note for us.
No room in our bellies for dessert and we had some leftovers that we brought home.
Service was excellent, drinks were prepared well. We are very picky foodies so please take that into consideration. We will be back again to Seasons 52. There are plenty of restaurants we will not return to if we’ve had any off meals. Seasons 52 is a tried and true winner for us.
Wonderful service and delicious food. What more could you ask for!
Restaurant delivers good food and service. Back of the room is quieter. We are return customers to this venue.
Our server was outstanding. Brittany, I believe. She was attentive and very pleasant. She really cared about her service. She made the evening a delight!
Had a great dinner and the service was outstanding!! Thanks, Rebecca G for making my sister's birthday extra special.
Our server was very pleasant and personable! Food and drinks were delicious! The space was louder than it’s been in the past but there were a few larger dinner groups tonight. I would definitely recommend!
Seasons 52 is my favorite restaurant! Service is always superb, as is the food, ambience and value. Love their mini desserts - what a smart way to offer a little something sweet after indulging in great meals and drinks! I frequent this restaurant at least once a month!!! If you haven't experienced Seasons 52, what are you waiting for?
Everyone enjoyed her lunch selection. We were happy to find lots of healthy options on the menu! The blackened fish tacos were good. It was wonderful to have small dessert options.
We probably shouldn't have tested them on Mother's Day, but we figured going in the evening would make things much better. We got there around 8 PM, and the restaurant was about 60% full.
By the time we left at 10 PM, the restaurant was almost completely empty... this prelude is important context for an observation about the delivery of our food, and attentiveness of personnel. If you have 2+ hours for dining, then you'll not notice how slow things are. Otherwise, like us, you'll see that it seems to take forever for anything to get to the table - even a simple drink order, with no real activity at the bar took over 10 minutes. Now couple that with the fact that many of the things we would have ordered were "out of stock", and our enthusiasm for the meal was dampened. Our server tried to be helpful, and the food that we were able to order was very good. We've been to other Season 52's and we have consistently gotten interesting preparations, with decent portions, off a varied menu that provides choices for everyone (when its not sold out)... the Burlington location was no exception. Everything we had was tasty, and well prepared - although the pork was a tad overcooked. Desserts are a standard format for them - small glasses of different individual cakes - done right, they are served with parfait spoons, so you can get to the bottom of the glass - ours were done with standard spoons which made it a tad challenging to extract all the goodness.
Overall, not a bust, but doesn't make the top of the list either
It was an amazing meal for Mother’s Day. Our server (Leah) was great and made sure we were set as we had a few allergies at the table. Your gluten free menu was fantastic. Thank you for making this special day a wonderful experience.
Mother’s Day brunch
Great selection. Expected more breakfast items for Mother’s Day brunch
When we first walked in the dinning room was very loud but we acclimated fairly quickly. Our server was very friendly and the food was good. When it came to the dessert we found the presentation very unsanitary. All desserts are brought to each table by their server. We witnessed our server bring the tray of desserts to another table, where they all looked, touched and selected or passed on purchasing. Our server then went to the kitchen and replaced the ones that were purchased. When she arrived at our table we expressed our concerns and she did explain that every dessert that is touched becomes a non purchasable item. I would rather the traditional dessert menu to make my selection. Overall nice place to dine.
Apps and desserts were great. Main courses good but not great.
Thomas was amazing! It's very rare to have a server who is naturally friendly, helpful and prompt.
Had a delightful dinner here on a busy Friday night. The place was packed when we arrived so we were glad we had made reservations. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very efficient and professional. She frequently checked-in without being interfering. Everyone liked their meals. Portions were generous.
Great service and well prepared food
I was at Seasons 52 on a Monday evening with 2 friends. We sat in a booth in the bar area, and it was a little noisy, but we were still able to talk. The service was excellent, and we weren't rushed at all. The food was very good, and I'll certainly go back again. The roasted cauliflower starter was delicious with a very cheesy sauce. We all had the 3-course special - chicken ravioli and steak - and both were very good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.
The adult menu is excellent and the wine list is decent. However, this is not a good restaurant for families. They only have high chairs - no booster seats - so once a 2 year old is too big for a high chair but can barely see over the table, what’s a family to do? Also, what chef puts a kale-based soup on the children’s menu? (Clearly a chef that doesn’t have kids!). I’m all for healthy eating, so offer a healthy tomato soup or chicken noodle soup. No kid is going to eat a kale-based soup.
our server, i believe his name is zack, was fantastic!!!
It was our first time and we enjoyed very much
Always a good expierence... excellent fresh foods. We brought friends who had never been and they loved it.
Season 52 is MY favorite restaurant in Burlington! Our waiter, Gustuvo (SPELLING???) was just awesome. He's been with the restaurant since it opened. We have been here quite a few times and still enjoy it. Got a kick out of the piano bar, but glad that's gone! The main dining room is a bit loud, and the last 4 times we were there, sat in the adjoining room, which I find so very comfortable and less noisy.
I always recommend Seasons 52 to folks new to the area.
This is a great restaurant, very good food. The try new drinks all the time, some are not so good others are outstanding. In our last visit, I had a new old fashioned and it was awful, but the waiter happily took it and replaced it with one that was excellent. It was a Saturday night, but it was very loud - we had reservations, but had to speak loudly to hear each other.
Overall, food and service was excellent.
Great place for a meal, food and service has always been excellent. Tip use open table make reservation ahead of time
Our server, Renee was excellent! Very nice experience!
From a fast start to a disappointing finish. Service starte off with promising with attentive help but devolved when we waited for over 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared and another 20 to be offered dessert. Then when the waiter finially arrived the the tray of offering, a few wer absent - he kept saying, Oh and we have x___ but I can get you one from the back. NOT cool, we felt ignored. Not just bad service, ignored.
I adore the shrimp and grits here, would come back just to order this. Hubby was very happy with his scallops, we each had soups to start which were very tasty - would each orther them again. Food was great, too bad the service was so disappointing.
Lunch time - Pizza bursting with flavors, very hearty bean soup, delicious crab cake sandwich and some wicked good cocktails! Attentive service, great setting.
My husband and I were celebrating our 43rd anniversary and the waitress made it a special evening. She presented us with two small glasses of champagne and was very happy to do so. She suggested the 3 course meal and we both selected the same items on the limited time offer. It was even better than we imagined and the waitress was very pleased. It was definitely a “special” evening.
This is our favorite place!! My daughters, their boyfriends, myself and my husband love everything about it! Zach was our server and he was FABULOUS!!
Until they fix their extreme noise problem, we will not be returning.
Server was fantastic! She made suggestions for wine and food. Never disappointed at Seasons 52!
The food and service excellent. We ordered the soup, steak and dessert for$29.00 of course our bill a lot higher because we ordered a bottle of wine.
Great food and always polite, professional and helpful staff. Tommy, thanks for another great experience!
Excellent food and service. Love Seasons 52!
I went there with a group of friend to celebrate my birthday. Our Server Thomas was super nice and attentive. Thomas immediately talked to the manager after learning the occasion. He delivered Champagne for us to toast and offered us free dessert after talking to his manager. We all agree Thomas is one of the best servers we have seen. We will definitely go back to Season 52 and hope all the servers are as good as Thomas.
Very disappointed in my meal of Tuna. The Tuna was tough and tasteless.
