Seasons 52 - Buckhead Ratings and Reviews
We have had many dinners at Seasons 52 and always enjoyed the food... great food. And good service. This past time, Jan 13, the service was not good! We waited a long time until the waiter came by our table to take our drink order. After ordering our meal, we asked for bread at least twice... Never received it!! When our dinner was brought out, my husband's did not get what he ordered. We then had to wait a long time for a new order to made and brought out!! We never did get our bread!! Maybe the waiter should have written our order down!! We did receive 2 comp desserts.
I dinned at Season 52 at the Perimeter right before Christmas and the food and service were outstanding. Not so at the Buckhead restaurant. They seemed disorganized and I had the exact same dish I ordered at Perimeter and it was half the quality of Permiter. Will not be going back to this restaurant.
Seasons 52 was a delightful place for my lunch meeting. I enjoyed the seating and there were very little noisy people coming from other booths and the bar. It was fairly quiet and I was able to conduct business. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and our server was attentive as well. Overall, the lunchtime menu was varied for a discerning palates and the prices were reasonable. The food was excellent. A great place to dine and have a business lunch and being able to converse without a lot of noise and distractions. The only thing that I would change is that all parking is validated by the restaurant, but they only validate valet parking.
We usually go to Seasons 52 and enjoy it but today was not good at all.
We waited for the food to arrive for more than half an hour, and when it did it was not good. We ordered the trout well done and it came completely undercooked, it was horrible. We sent it back and when we received it it was barely cooked, the potatoes floating in juice you could not tell what it was.
The server never asked if we liked it or not.
It was very very cold and with the freezing weather in Atlanta I expected to feel comfortable inside the restaurant but again, it was not the case.
Seasons 52 is consistent and always good. The food was good, had a mushroom flatbread and tuna, and fresh. The service was good and the server was friendly and professional. Lively crowd on a Friday night. Also, if you valet park it is free (I parked in the garage, a $14 mistake).
Season’s 52 has become one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Atlanta! From the always warm friendly welcoming greeting to the amazing service and excellent food and drink, it’s always a top notch dining experience. I highly recommend it without reservation!
I originally made a reservation at 8:45 and wasn’t sat until an hour later. Hostesses left their post to go sit by the fire (mind you they also proceeded to point and speak about us) while my friends and I were simply confused and frustrated with the lack of communication in concerns to our reservation. It took four times to ask multiple host staff for information, and until we began to express our displeasure with the lack of service and excessive wait time, they found time to “squeeze us in”. The manager was lovely, our server was great, food was good, but first impressions make or break. Our lack of customer service was blamed on it being an “off night”.
First time visit! Fabulous food! Trout great as were both the spinach and the beet salads Definitely will be back and absolutely recommend!
If you like a velvet finish to your red wine which i do, try never before seen on a wine menu St Anne's Merlot from Sovenia! ( at least is new for me) SUPERB !
Had a 9:00 reservation, arrived early. Was 9:30 before we were seated. Many folks were threatening to leave because they had been waiting for close to an hour to be seated. The explanation was they were behind in their seatings. Why have reservations if they don’t matter? The restaurant also ran out of NY Strip that night.
Our server, Raymond H, was awesome. His attentiveness and the great food are the only reasons I would ever consider returning because this is a terribly mismanaged restaurant.
Why are places like King + Duke, Capital Grille and Southern Gentleman packed? They are the entire package- service + food.
Get your act together!
Terrible reservation experience. Had one set for 830pm and arrived at 830pm. We were told there was a 10 min delay. At 850pm I inquired on the status of our table and was told it was being prepared. At 9pm I asked again and was told the same thing. At 910pm I requested to speak with the manager. I expressed my issue of not being told the truth. If my table was being prepared, it would be ready by now. Just tell me the truth of how long it will be. He apologized and worked to get us seated by 925pm, 55 min after our reservation. He did offer to cover an starters, drinks and dessert due to the delay. Additionally, several items we attempted to order were out of stock - beer, NY steak, dessert. The server apologized and offered alternates. Lastly, valet closed at 1030pm and I had to leave the table to retrieve our keys prior to their closing so we could access our cars once the meal was complete. The server did her best to make our experience better, but it was an uphill battle for her. While the manager attempted to make it right, a 55min delay in seating with out of town guests on a holiday just ruins any mood for a special meal.
Seasons 52 used to be my favorite restaurant for special occasions with my family as well as ladies nights out with my dearest friends. We have always enjoyed the ambiance, service and healthy food choices. Unfortunately, I plan to find a new “go to” restaurant for future meals. Twice this year, we have showed up for our reservation, on time, only to be told that our table would be ready in about 10 minutes. Both times resulted in waits almost an hour long. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially in a city like Atlanta where I have thousands of places to spend my time and money. This Christmas Eve dinner was only salvaged by our kind, attentive and dynamic server, Meghan. Kudos to you, Meghan. If I could give her some advice, it would be to take her talents elsewhere because I’m my opinion, Seasons 52 is a sinking ship. Such a shame...we have enjoyed the Buckhead and Perimeter locations many times through the years.
We love Seasons 52, but this experience we were seating in the bar area. Was ok to start, but once the bar was full, we had guests standing between the bar and our table. We started to feel crowded trying to eat our meals. My mom has Alzheimers and my dad is hard of hearing. Not the best table for us, but will note this on future visits.
The food at Seasons 52 is always superb. I had the cedar plank salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and my fiancée had the pork tenderloin which was juicy and amazingly tender. My one small grievance was I specified on my reservation that we were celebrating our two year anniversary and it went unacknowledged. Other than that, our experience was divine as always. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for an excellent dining experience.
