Seasons 52 - Birmingham
Book your next event with us
Never disappointed with this restaurant! Great service, great food, great ambiance, and you feel so special anytime you celebrate an event at Seasons 52. Love, love, love this restaurant and staff!
We had a reservation at 4 PM. The hostess took a call for a reservation because the phone rang as we walked in. Personally, I would have politely put them on hold and took care of the people in the restaurant first. We walked right at 4:00 and were told it would be a few minutes because they had to clean a table off even though the restaurant was completely empty. This was embarrassing as I was the on that placed the reservation. Why did we have to wait on the table to be cleaned when we were one group of very few patrons in the building? When I booked the reservation I noted it was for a special occasion. This was not acknowledged by any staff member. Our server was very friendly and helpful and the food was great but the experience with the hostess stand was sub-par considering the menu prices.
Not up to other Seasons 52 restaurants I’ve visited. Food was acceptable but the service, from front desk to table, was disorganized and unprofessional. Pleasant staff but untrained. In a city with so many good restaurants they need to smarten up.
When I made the reservation I asked for a quiet table to talk with relatives passing thru Birmingham. The hostess recognized my request and seated us in a perfect spot !
Two of us had the flat bread and soup combination.( new in their spring menu). What a great choice! Her lobster bisque and lobster flat bread was excellent. My split pea and kale soup was very good. But my chicken and pesto gluten free flatbread was outstanding. Fantastic choices. The other guest had the barbecue chicken salad. It was served artistically and was most flavorful he said. And he said his peanut butter and chocolate dessert was excellent!
Seasons 52 has been a favorite of ours and glad we chose to meet there. The waitress was excellent ! She was most attentive and gave us our space to visit.
I look forward to returning and enjoying another spring special combination !
My family Navi went to Season’s 52 to celebrate Mother’s Day. We have visited before n have really enjoyed our visit ,the service and of course the food.
The service by Bailey was outstanding but the quality of food left something to be desired.
We have every intention to return n will not left this bump in the road ruin our impressions.
Kudos to floor manager who came by and offered to have meals redone. Class act!!
I wouldn’t go here
Overall the service was very good but the food was lacking. The appetizer flat bread was tasty but it was not delivered hot but lightly warm. The grilled chicken entree was not seasoned well, was a little bland, the au jus wasn’t good and the dish also was not served hot. It was Mother’s Day and I was disappointed that my mom did not enjoy her meal. We had to stop somewhere else afterward and order to go plates to eat later. This meal was not a good value.
Great spot for Mother’s Day lunch! After a problem with our reservations and we got seated, the lovely manager profusely apologized and was so kind to us! The food was excellent! Really great mimosas! Josh our server was awesome and so attentive in spite of it being a very busy day! Hats off! Great job!
Great Mother's Day lunch with the family. Love the food and the desserts!
I love Seasons 52! We had the Mother's Day brunch and it was ok, usually dinner or lunch is always so fantastic.
Nice place. Was able to get early reservation. The only negative is a sour smell (and it might be the carpet). I’ve smelt it before and it hasn’t prevented me from coming back.
Dinner was yummy and the drinks as well! We ended up sitting at the bar to eat because even tho we had rezzies at 8 they were running behind and it would’ve been 8:30 before we got a table. The bartenders were great and made the night fun!
Excellent food and waitress!!!! Had Sea Scallops and Sea Bass!
Took a little time to get seated , 30minutes after our Reservation time, but well worth the wait!
Worst pork tenderloin I've ever had, very dry with no seasoning, as well as an over cooked filet. When we told the waitress her response was "ok, what do you want me to do?" Not the correct answer. Didn't ever come by and check to see how things were after the food was delivered either. Won't be back soon.
Celebrating my daughter’s college graduation. They made her feel very special & created a memorable evening for us.
The menu has changed somewhat and some of my favorites are off the menu. Getting our food was slow. We had a party of 4 at 1100 am and a group of 10 came in 30mins later and received their main course before we got ours and the place was less than 1/3 capacity. They need to step up their game. The food was just ok. The menu is standard and nothing jumps out at you.
My overall experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Season 52. The sesame salmon salad was absolutely delicious.
It was amazing! We made reservations, so we got in immediately, but it would be worth the wait! The food is unbelievable! The service is great! Josh is awesome! When it is your birthday or anniversary, they make you feel so special! The dessert "shots" are the bomb!! The lamb is to die for! It
Not impressed with the food. Had wood grilled scallops with risotto which had an oddly bitter aftertaste. We had reservation for 0615 PM on a Sunday. There were several empty tables when we arrived yet we still had to wait quite a bit (about 5 mins) to get seated. Glad we have a coupon that brought our bill down from $70 for 2 people to $45, which makes it almost worth it. Ambience was nice and they have an extensive wine selection if you are wine drinker.
Lunch with a friend
We had a fantastic graduation dinner here for my husband. Excellent food, fabulous service, & such wonderfully polite staff. We will definitely be back!
Everyone went above and beyond to make my daughter’s graduation celebration perfect! Food and service was exceptional!
Always good. Service good as well. Nice atmosphere and quiet enough to talk. Best filet mignon next to Perry’s and great wine selection.
Great food, friendly staff!
It was perfect for the occasion
No issue with food or waiter. The only issue is I made my reservations for our 25th Anniversary to sit at a quiet booth. They sat us directly behind the front hostess desk where everyone checks in. There were empty booths all around. We asked our waiter to move us to the back. This should not have happened.
One of the people in our party ordered Mahi Mahi entry, the server brought out Mahi tacos. This was not what our guest had ordered. He sent it back and asked for scallops, the server apologized for his confusion. He did rush the scallops and our guest enjoyed them. The server left mahi tacos on the bill, which I felt was unnecessary, especially given that the scallops were more than twice the price of the mahi tacos.
We booked last minute for an Easter dinner. We typically go to the Seasons 52 in West Palm Beach and have always had a good experience. Thought we would give it a shot. We were very pleased with our dinner and our service from Lourdes. She was very attentive. Give it a try!
Waited for 30 minutes for a table even with reservations . Then even after sitting down we waited over an hour for food , and we had to ask after an hour for bread. However , o can we for the food . It was excellent. Our waiter wasn’t so much .
Food was okay but I expected better for the price. We waited 35 minutes to be seated even with reservations.
Easter must have been crazy in the kitchen because the food has been better here.
Our Open Table reservation was fine EXCEPT whoever transferred info put my first name as last and because of the crowd it took longer to get to our table and seated
The food was fair. I have eaten several times at Season52. Has always been very good. Today was not. Had the steak and egg Easter menu. Food was cold and steak was very tough to eat. The mimosa that I had from bar was the best thing about meal. I requested a booth got sat at a poor location table. Finally manager moved my wife and I to a booth. I hope next time meal will be better!
Always a wonderful experience. Service is spot on and the food is delicious. Tried the bistro steak this trip and it was wonderful!
Great place with lots of variety of choices. Good food. We had an enjoyable evening.
