Food tasted good. However, the kitchen timing was disastrous. We were there for over 3 hours with LONG periods of nothing in between the server's visits to the table. Delays started immediately, as we did not see a server for 15 minutes after being seated.
Always a pleasure to go and be treated very special. Very relaxing. Very professional in every way.
Food is excellent and servers know what is on the menu and can tell you all about it.
It was a different experience than normal. Music was not loud so it kind of felt like you were eating in a cafeteria. Our waiter did not introduce their name and was not very quick like the normal service we receive there to fill our drinks and take our orders. Food however was pretty fast getting to the table
We love Season's 52 and have been going there now about once a month for about 5 years. We finally went for the Sunday Brunch and as always, it did not disappoint. Great staff, great meal, and even our granddaughter enjoyed it.
Overall, seems to have gone downhill. Rushed, but inaccurate service. Everyone's entree was served wrong and one had to wait about 10 minutes after others were served. Already out of the tuna by 6:30 on a Saturday. Seemed like they wanted to rush you through to sit others, even though nothing had real gone right.
We had great food, most of us got the cedar planked salmon & it was cooked perfectly! We also got the Hawaiian martini & it was delicious! Definitely did not disappoint!! It was extra special that they gave us a complimentary champagne toast for my mother-n-law’s birthday! Thanks for a great dining experience!
Our team from work enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Seasons 52!
Excellent service and the food was very good. I like the atmosphere a lot and the tables are arranged so that you never feel crowded. And this was on a Saturday night with a good amount of people in the restaurant. I am also a fan of the dessert shots - just enough to get rid of your sweet tooth, but not enough to make you feel guilty. Seasons 52 is a reliably good destination for a meal out in Birmingham - and you can go high end or more affordable there.
Food was delicious! Lobster bisque is fantastic!! Service was great! Will definitely go back soon.
Birthday celebration for a group of friends. Service and food were good. Great time had by all!!
Salmon was delicious. Great Server, excellent manager. Thank you!
As usual, Seasons 52 did not disappoint! The Wild Alaska Salmon was cooked just right and the setup was a perfect complement. The blackened Mahi Maui tacos were excellent, too. And the service was attentive and pleasant but not bothersome.
I've been here many times and have never had a bad meal or experience! Looking forward to the next time already!
Mostly excellent food. My Summer corn soup and BBQ Chicken Salad were excellent. Most of the other dishes were excellent with the exception of my brother's Wild Alaska Salmon. He felt it was overcooked and not a thick enough filet. The green beans with my father's dish of BBQ'd Meatloaf were just, eh.
My niece's filet mignon was "delicious" and my sister's scallops were "wonderful". My brother-in-law's Lamb Loin was "out of this world".
All of our desserts were very good.
Celebrated our anniversary at Seasons 52. Absolutely could not ask for a more perfect choice to celebrate our special occasion. What more can I say!
Never disappointed with my experience here and love the staff
We split the sea bass with risotto. It was perfect. We also had the stuffed mushrooms and dessert. The desserts are large shot glasses and are just enough.
This place always exceeds expectations. You can always get a table and the price is right.
Consistently good service and good food choices from the seasonal menu. We will continue to come back.
First time here and celebrated a birthday— they made it special with a birthday card and a small appetizer! Will certainly be back!
The only less than positive Seasons 52 experience. Inferior service for the time of day and only moderately crowded.
Excellent service and food
Food and service both were excellent. I invited a business associate from Texas and he commented that the Chiliean Sea Bass was the best he ever had. Our server did an excellent job at taking care of us - almost pressured me into trying desert! All in all we had a very pleasant evening at Season’s 52.
I had a group of 5 with all but I being from out of town. I chose Seasons 52 because they have a number of larger tables, accept reservations and have good interesting dishes. First, after ordering, we waited an unacceptable time before any food came out. 3 of us had ordered a salad. 3 out of 5 entrees and 1 salad came out. The waitress had messed up the entrees of two of my guests. My entree came with the salad so by the time I finished the salad the entree was cold. It took another long wait and our intervention with the manager to get the two entrees. We did get comped in the two entrees but that I think was the minimal acceptable correction. One couple who had requested a saldnto share before their entree never received it. Food was ok but experience was very unpleasant.
Excellent wait staff and great food. The meatloaf was super!
Amazing experience! It was like the staff knew exactly what I wanted. Seasonal menu was awesome and the mini desserts were delicious.
Certainly not disappointed with my birthday celebration dinner there. Service was great and the food very tasty. Season's 52 has become our "go to" restaurant for special occasions.
Fabulous meal and very pleasant employees. Will definitely be back!
Love so many things here! Great with calorie count! Yum!
As always, we can depend on good service and good food.
My meal was supposed to be gluten free. It was NOT! I was sick all night. I will never eat there again!!
The food was good, but steak undercooked. I ate at the bar. The service was good on the 3 or 4 occasions that I was able to get someone’s attention. Most of the time I was ignored.
Great experience like always! Great service and always complimentary items for special occasions!
While I adore Seasons 52, this time things were a tad off. The service was friendly but lengthy and we ended up looking arond to find our server to get our check rung through. While we were asked if we wanted dessert, the traditional presentation was skipped, and we had indicated that one in our party was new to the restaurant.
On the other hand our food came to the table at once time (which was nice), although one soup was lacking and came the next round. The food was lovely, and again our server was quite nice himself. It's just that things didn't feel as wonderful as they usually do. Just a bit of pacing and I am sure the next visit will be back up to snuff.
We sat 6 in a large round banquet and it felt private and intimate. We had 4 courses each and cocktails and raves over the food and drinks all weekend. Great value, interesting choices and flavorful food all ‘round. This restaurant has been and continues to be one of our go to places in Birmingham. We recommend it to everyone. Our family from San Diego, CA are going to find one near them!
I always enjoy Seasons 52, the food is great. Unfortunately the service was less so. I made a reservation for 14 , 2 weeks prior.
When we arrived , our group was waiting in the bar. Our reservation was for 7:30. At nearly 8pm, I went to the hostess desk to ask about our table. She was rude and seemed irritated that I was asking . She said the table was still being set. A manager then told her that the table " had been ready". The hostess then said she would seat us in a few minutes. Seems weird if the table "has been ready". The hostess came to get us at the bar a few minutes later and took us to two round tables that had been put together. It was less than ideal, and crowded. They clearly were not ready for our party. The rest of the meal was uneventful. I will likely not make reservations there for a large party again. Thankfully the food was good as always!
Met long time girlfriends for lunch—food was excellent! Definitely get the corn soup while in season! Service was impeccable! Will definitely be back!
If you are going, don't go late. Staff was too anxious to leave and it showed across the board: service, food, etc.
Our food was delicious and the service provided by our waiter "Mike" was excellent. The only minor issue was that I ordered my salad dressing on the side but it came on the salad. The reason for ordering salad dressing on the side is to control the amount put on the salad so the greens are not bathing in the dressing and other items included are not overwhelmed. There wasn't too much on my salad to send it back but a little more than I prefer. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.
Another great meal at Seasons. The selections are always fresh, the service was excellent.
Wonderful experience. Food was excellent.
We eat at Seasons 52 quite often. Especially nice has been how special occasions have been recognized in the past. We noted that we were dining for a special occasion, but it was not even acknowledged.
As always, the food and service were to be commended.
