Seasons 52 - Tysons Corner Ratings and Reviews
We always enjoy Seasons 52 especially during this time of year when we are shopping for the holidays. The Mediterranean hummus appetizer was fairly bland and I would not order that again the roasted artichokes were excellent mushroom soup divine and the caramelized scallop entrée was perfect especially paired with the butternut squash risotto. (Small issue brocollin not well sautéed and minimal taste) The mini desserts are a perfect size for three bites and we shared the pumpkin pie.
Brandon the bartender has officially been voted best Manhattan creator (see pic) in the DC area by my husband who fancies himself a connoisseur- best with Four Roses Bourbon.
We had requested a round table on Open Table, but, they didn't have one, when we got there. The waiter was very helpful in going out of his way to get the manager and get us a round table. The food was great; the ambiance was awesome and we all had a great time.
Our evening at Seasons 52 was amazing!! Sammy the bartender was fabulous. We were skeptic as it is a restaurant inside the mall area however the food was top-notch.
The cocktails were delicious, you have to try the Hawaiian cosmopolitan. You have to experience it for yourself the happy hour menu is worth a try.
We really enjoyed lunch here recently. Even at a very busy hour (Saturday lunch) service was excellent, there's a nice selection of wines by the glass, and the food we have had on this and previous visits is always top-notch. We particularly like the flatbreads as a starter; the shrimp and grits is probably the best version of this dish we've had anywhere. We're not dieting, but nevertheless we like that they provide a calorie count for each dish on the menu, plus that the choices change with the seasons.
Sandra was a wonderful server. We had special requests - allergies - and she handled them all with ease. We had the fixed price 3 course Harvest meal. My husband's short ribs were excellent and my steak was prepared perfectly. Sandra brought us both soups to try and it was hard to choose - both were excellent, but the porcini mushroom bisque won out for my husband. The two salad options were also great. I had the spinach and pear with cheese and walnut salad - perfectly dressed. The mini indulgences are always a hit - so much flavor in a small package!
Had to wait on our table for nearly 15 minutes. Wait staff nice but made a number of mistakes, to include leaving cheese on a salad when it had been requested it not be added. Food was average. Pre-fixe meal selections a nice option. Overall, ok but with so many dining choices will not likely return.
We had the Harvest special. 3 courses for $29 and $6 glasses of wine. Unlike some places that reduce the portions or quality when ordering a special menu, they gave us a normal size portion and the quality was excellent. I ordered the mushroom soup, filet, and mini chocolate dessert. All were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. My one recommendation- Make an Opentable reservation! The line for walk-ins was out the door into the mall, and they were telling people 90 min wait.
Amazing and wonderful food combos,. Server was extremely slow on his delivery, although we weren't in a hurry, our hunger and thirst were pushed to the limits, but worth the wait. The noise level can be louder then desired at times. Great place to try new and creative dishes.
This is our "go to" place every time we visit Tysons. We are always guaranteed a fantastic meal there. I love how the menu is seasonal and changes. When it does, there's still always something delicious to choose from. The staff is great and makes your stay comfortable and not rushed while you're there. I would always recommend any of my friends to go here whenever they are in the area.
In town for two days of training. Used the Open Table app to locate a nice, reasonable place to dine. The reviews for Seasons 52 were outstanding so I made a reservation for 4. We were not disappointed. Our waiter did an excellent job of steering us towards their Harvest Dinner Trio for just $29. One person had the salmon, one had the lamb shank, one had the filet mignon and one had a NY Strip. We all cleaned our plates. Everything was prepared to order and was simply awesome. We had a very nice dinner after a long day of training.
We came for a 6:30 dinner and ordered the lamb shank from the Harvest menu. We were told both the Braised Australian Lamb Shank and Boneless Beef Short Rib were unavailable due to high demand. So I ordered the Maple-Glazed Roasted Half Chicken, which was disappointing as it was dry. From a value standpoint, the chicken on the Harvest menu is overpriced. It was surprising that the restaurant was out of the two most popular items on the Harvest so early on a Friday night. They should be better prepared to meet the demand. Service was excellent as was the mushroom soup and mini-desserts.
Delicious food! My girlfriends and I tried the Harvest menu. We ordered different items so we could sample 3 of the 4 options for each course. I will say the Mushroom soup, Lamb shank and carrot cake was the highlight of dinner. I would like to say we had an amazing server and was seated quickly for our reservations.
