Seasons 52 - Tysons Corner Ratings and Reviews
Great food and our server was excellent. Our cauliflower appetizer was a big hit with all of us (2 couples). We each also enjoyed our entrees - salmon and roasted chicken. One person had an entree salad which she did not like. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which salad she ordered. As always, the desserts were fabulous. We also thought our server provided excellent service and was very accommodating to our time frame since we had to make a movie by a certain time.
I do not recommend this restaurant. While waiting in line to check in for our reservation, another customer obviously cut in front of us when the next greeter became available. When we said, hey, we were next, the greeter ignored us and immediately seated that customer. When we were finally checked in, we had to wait for our table to be seated.
The waitress was friendly, but disappeared after we placed our order and didn’t come back until our entrees were ready. The food was overpriced for what we received. For the quality and level of service, it should have been about half the cost.
Had such high hopes based on yelp and open table reviews. Very dissappointed.
I always enjoying eating at Seasons 52, however I was disappointed in the crab cake it seemed to have a lot of filling in it. Also I realized after I left that the waiter never offered us the $25 gift card for dining in 2018. Overall though I will continue to support Seasons 52.
Our daughter is home from NYU and we had gone shopping at Tyson’s and then met my husband at Seasons 52 for dinner. At first it appeared that our table was forgotten, but when I asked a waiter walking by, he immediately took our order, made sure we got happy hour pricing for our small plates, recommended dinner selections and didn’t charge us for our desserts because of the confusion. It was super busy there the Wednesday after Christmas but he took such good care of us and the food was incredible!! This experience could have gone either way in the beginning but he made sure it was a great one!!
I love Seasons 52. Most of my experience has been eating lunch there - this was the first time eating dinner there. Menu was not very interesting. Most of us had some sort of beef and requested various level of "done". I personally was disappointed. Despite me being very clear that I was OK with just a bit of a pink middle, the middle was raw! And no I didn't send it back - I tried to roll with the pink! A hunk of steak and some giant broccoli florets thrown on a plate. Not impressed this time around.
Had a party of 9 comprised of family and friends there for a meal the day after Christmas. Our server was one of the worst I had ever encountered, rudeness, shouted specials with little description. When food was served he there was little enter action never checking to see if guest were alright food ordered or doing anything to appeared about our experience. The experience was so bad for the first time in my life I chose to leave a $0 tip (which I have never done in my life but felt I needed to send a STRONG message). When leaving the restaurant I spoke to manager on duty who appeared to empathize and presented me with a $52 card to be utilized during another visit, upon inspection of the card it had already exceeded the expiration date. When pointing the expiration date he stated it didn't matter. Being a person who dines out a minimum of 100 times per year I would never recommend Season's 52 nor have plans to return for another dining experience.
Christmas Dinner with the family . First time visiting the restaurant after reading nice reviews online. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience to it and our waitress was polite, courteous and attentive. The food presentation was great. However, the food itself did not taste that great. We ordered lamb shank, filet mignon, meatloaf and pork with sides of truffle mac. Plus we tried the deserts at the end. My mother-in-law loved the organic salad. The filet mignon and the lamb shank were disappointing. We’ve had better at other restaurants. The lamb shank started off good with the first bite but soon as I took another bite, I noticed lack of seasoning and flavor. No amount of salt and pepper seasoning could liven the dish up. The truffle Mac sounds fancier than it is. Very bland taste overall. The desserts were visually appealing but didn’t taste so great. Dry tasting almost as if they were old. The meal was not worth the price we paid. Will not be visiting the restaurant again.
This restaurant has become a "go to" for our family. It's large enough to hold 10 and small enough to fit 6 around a table. Everyone can order what they like (vegan, vegetarian, no lactose, gluten free, and everyone is happy. It's also easy parking, a generally quiet enough atmosphere to hear what the person across the table is saying and the food is quite good. We use it for family get togethers.
We came here for brunch before a movie. The service was really bad!
I ordered tea and my husband ordered a double espresso. He got his espresso right away. I had to wait 10 more minutes after, for tea?!
2/4 entrees came and then we waited for 15 min before the last 2 came. The food was cold and and not very taste. They did have an explanation when the food came why it took so long but it would have been nice for someone to come and tell us what was going on.
The food was excellent and cooked perfectly! The stuffed mushrooms, pear and buratta salad, and filet minion are our favorite dinner choices. Our waiter, Johann, was amazing and attentive! The ambiance is great too! We come here once a year when we are in town for Christmas shopping, and this is always our go to spot for dinner after a long shopping day! It Never disappoints!
