Very slow service with over cooked food
Shrimp and Grits was great!!
Usually, I love this restaurant. However ...
1. We had reservations for Sunday at 11:30 to be able to make a 1 PM movie which only played once and for which we had prepurchased tickets.
2. The reception area was strewn with people who wanted to block others from entering.
3. Once seated, I told our server about our time needs and were assured that it would be no problem. It became a problem
4. 15-20 minutes after being first greeted by our server, I had to ask another server to find our server to ask about our drinks - 3 waters, a cocktail and 2 sparkling wines.
5. Beverages finally arrived - 1 sparkling wine was cold but lack sparkle. The second sparkling wine had plenty of sparkle but was warm.
6. The food was very good when it finally came out.
7. We were late for our performance.
When we were choosing some place for happy hour - we selected another local establishment. Being with a client, I felt that it would be inappropriate to complain about timer and drink quality so I added ice to my $12.5 glass of mediocre CA "champagne." Not r=terribly pleased overall, but enjoyed my meal very much.
We were able to get a same day reservation, but the place was PACKED - a lot of belated Valentine’s Day traffic for sure. We were seated 25 minutes after our 7:30 reservation and were given a free appetizer for the inconvenience - which was nice. They make great cocktails and have a good variety of wines. The lobster flatbread appetizer was “uneven” meaning half had lobster and the other half didn’t. And it had a strong lemon flavor. Three out of the 4 entrees were delicious - roasted chicken with vegetables, shrimp and grits, and scallops over risotto. My husband ordered one of Season 52’s long term signature dishes that has always been excellent - the Asian inspired sea bass. Sadly, the bass was over cooked and dry this visit. Clearly, the kitchen was overworked on such a busy night.
This is a nice restaurant. Busy, vibrant atmosphere. Our food was excellent. We'll try it again next time we're in the area.
Overall fine but incredibly slammed on a Saturday night and everything was late and out of order.
Sat at the bar, watched the VT game, had great food, loved the experience.
Stuffed mushroom app was salty; entrees were good; service was meh; waiter was nice but missed bringing cocktail entirely, he just wasn't great at all.
Celebrating family Birthdays. Everything wad Good!!
Great food and excellent service!!!! We’ll be back😃
Ive been going to Seasons 52 for years and have always enjoyed it. But, the last two times my gf and I were there, we were disappointed. The roasted Roma tomato flatbread was tasteless. The grilled artichokes with preserved lemon hummus was just average. I liked the hummus but the artichoke hearts were not flavorful. The caramelized brussels sprouts were delicious! Our salad was the spinach with Bosc pears. Dressing was unimpressive. Our waiter was wonderful, though. Funny and engaging! I think we will try other restaurants at Tysons next time we are there.
Nice family-friendly restaurant. Menu is interesting and food was tasty - lots of different flavours on one plate. Quite loud so probably not the place to come on an intimate dinner or a business meeting where you need to hear what your dinner companions are saying. One of the chefs was delivering our food (probably due to the overwhelming number of patrons-to-waiters ratio that evening) - he was incredibly charming and polite and honestly made our evening :)
They gave me a rose for vday! The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu which helped choose. The food also came in quickly.
The food was great and the service was quite good as well but the ambiance of the restaurant was not quite at par with other Seasons 52 restaurants. The restaurant is inside the Tyson’s corner mall. They first they tried seating us next to the busy mall traffic for a special occasion dinner. Not quite the experience I was expecting but we were seated at an inside table when I asked.
What an AWESOME Valentine's experience!! Everything was very good!! CS & our waitress Tiffany was GREAT!
I enjoyed the time I was there. I was not happy with the salad. The salad dressing did not have any Flavor to it. The meat loaf was under seasoned for my husband taste. I loved my meal of lamb the dessert was awesome. The customer service was absolutely fabulous. I would go there again
Great food and great service in a comfortable atmosphere.
This has been our favorite restaurant for quite sometime now , going on 3 years.
Never have we had a bad meal or service .
This Valentines was special because it was our 1st time as a “Married” couple .
Love the Rose to each lady. Very nice touch!
And our was waitress, while busy, was engaging and spot on!
Kuddos again! Job well done
Jose was an attentive server. The food was amazing as always.
Our drinks were great. My food was delicious--had filet mignon and lobster tail. Our server was terrific and made great suggestions. However, hubby had the maple chicken and was un-impressed. He felt the flavor was rather flat. Nice evening overall.
Seasons 52 was a our go to place for birthdays and anniversaries; however, after our dining experience on Valentine's Day 2019, it will be our last. It was just me and my girlfriend. To begin with, the place was jam packed and had people overflowing at the main entrance. After we were seated, we ordered wine. They told us that they did not have 2 of the wines we had asked for. Our server also told us that the wine menu was going to be changed at the end of the month. Me and and my girlfriend were like HUH?!?! This is Valentine's Day - probably the most busiest day of that month, how could you not have stocked up on everything for this occasion or have a new drink menu ready to go?? I ordered a filet mignon and my girlfriend ordered their wood grilled pork tenderloin. My order came out great and my girlfriend's pork came out half squealing. Her pork was beet red in the center was way under cooked. The cook came out and said that was the way they served it. My girlfriend was like no way and asked that it be well cooked. Her plate was taken away and sent back to be grilled some more. When her plate came back it was still pink and my girlfriend asked that it be cooked a bit more. The cook came back and brought a burned dry pork that was hard to cut. At this point, my girlfriend was disappointed and just took the plate the way it was. Meanwhile, I waited and waited until they got her plate semi right. Her veggies on our plate were also raw and hard. After we finished our meal, one of the managers came and apologized and offered to discount the check but the damage was already done. We also did not order dessert. The Seasons 52 we patron had their service and kitchen in order. I don't know where we went that night but it wasn't the favorite restaurant we have wined and dined before. We will not return as we feel Seasons 52's overall service has gone down...way down. Shame, it was a great place to eat and the food was fantastic.
Excellent meal with great service
The food is great, and the drink is a plus, with various options to select from. But it is a little bit loud for a date. Anyway, I definitely recommend Season 52.
We usually love dining at our local Seasons 52. However this visit - Valentine's Eve, even though we ate early, our salads came out then no more than 5 minutes later, our entrees were out. The rest of the evening was unrushed. Server was great, but the place was very busy. Still we'll be back as we love the seasonal menus.
Always a great meal!
Great meeting place to catch up with friends we’ve seen for awhile
Each of the four of us had a seasonal meal and every dish had the right balance of flavor, portion size and perfect level of doneness (lamb, steak pork). Brittany did a wonderful job...attentive, thorough and prompt. Great dining experience.
We had a great dinner, there were 10 of us and we got this round table separated slightly, made an intimate and cozy dinner with the family, we are thrilled!
Typically, Seasons 52 has always been a pleasant experience for me - it is one of my/our favorite restaurants. This time, the service was extremely poor. Our waitress was had 2 of our 3 of our meals incorrect. Further, she failed to share with us the specials for the evening; we only learned they had them 10 minutes after we ordered, as we overheard another waiter offering them to another table. She only offered excuses, as though she neared little to no responsibilities. When we shared our frustrations with the manger, he seemed to have little empathy and initially offered no apology. The waitress decided to avoid our table as much as possible at that point. It will be awhile before I eat at Seasons 52 again...especially the one in Tyson’s Corner. Disappointing experience....
Great for gatherings. Very accommodating for a special event. Great food!
Couple of negatives are the chairs were a bit dirty and the room smelled a bit old.
Friendly staff who delivers great service. The food was great too. I'm going back there this week for another nice meal.
The food was good. Planning a retun luncheon in the spring.
Good food, pleasant service, clean dining environment. I will be visiting again!
Birthday. But it was not acknowledged by the server.
13th Birthday Celebration for my oldest daughter.
Everything was great from start to finish
Looking forward to our next meal at Season’s52
