The petite filet and macadamia crusted halibut was excellent. I will definitely go out of my way to dine here next time I am in southern CA. View, ambience and service was impeccable.

We enjoyed a great evening for Mother's day! Our server (wish I remembered his name) was terrific and even went to his car for a jacket for my wife when she told him she was a little chilly! We had the salmon, the lobster and the crab ravioli entries and each was great! 1st to were my favorites! good chef- casual- lay back - we'll be back again soon!

Went for Sunday brunch on Mother’s Day. Been there many times before. Arrived at 12:15pm and were informed that brunch was ending and we needed to hurry up to order or we would have had to choose from lunch menu instead. No prior information was given that brunch ended early instead of 3 pm! Kitchen ran out of fruit as part of brunch dishes. No credit or substitute offered. Restaurant supposedly ran out of “ limitless “ sparkling wine for mimosas after each of us had two glasses. Absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. Undecided if we will return, much less recommend.

Went for Mothers Day brunch. When we arrived, we were seated right away on the patio which was very nice. Took almost 15 minutes for our server to even check in on us. She took our drink order and what seem to us awhile to come back to take our food order. Food came out after another 15 minutes and my Benedict was luke warm but tasted ok. My wife said hers was warm and she liked it. The other staff came around often asking to refill our coffees and to remove our plates, they were on it. Kind of a mix of how we were served but the views were great and it was a nice morning. I’ll chalk it up to being Mothers Day.

Kudos to the chef and other staff: Everyone does whatever it takes to make the dining experience memorable. If a guest has a specific food allergy, for example, the chef will modify a dish to make certain that a problematic ingredient is swapped out for something different but equally tasty. Salvatore and his staff are the best!

No mention of special occasion (birthday) although was on reservation. Poor service, average food. Website says they have gluten free pasta but they don’t when you get there.

Although the view is nice, the service was disappointing. Phone receivers are a little rude on responding and the waiter there accidentally served us water when we ordered tequila.

Chose Seasalt for Easter Brunch because me and my family have eaten there several times and have always been impressed with the service and quality of food. It is also situated midway between our homes so is a convenient meeting place. Enjoy being by the water and our waitress, as usual, was on it.

We've been here many time and it's most consistent with quick service and good food. Until Easter brunch... Super slow service and extremely noisy. We'll stick to bar service from here on out.

However the service was really slow, and our server wasn’t quite welcoming.

The food was very good. Unfortunately our starters came after the entrees were delivered or at the same time. We also ordered dessert which took no less than 30 minutes to deliver. In general, the service was slow and poor. Overall, not the experience we would have hoped for the price.

First time at this restaurant, although I have been at the other restaurants that pre-dated this enterprise. at this site. Sitting was immediate upon arrival for a 7:00 PM reservation on a Friday night, was full. A TV screen was in a parallel room, over a bar. Menu was appealing, which is what prompted the reservation to celebrate a friend's birthday. Additional items were quoted as "specials" that were not on the printed menu, and normally when this occurs I expect the price for each special to be given. This did not occur, and the prices were somewhat higher than I expected compared to prices of other dishes, ($7 to $9. higher than other fish platter entrees, and that much higher than any of the entrees on the regular menu. (Although i do acknowledge that halibut is usually more expensive than salmon), so I would encourage the proprietors to remind their waitstaff to give the prices on reciting such "specials." Did not know that meant "special higher price than everything else on the menu." Beyond that the food was excellently served, very nice presentations, plates were hot and kept the food hot. I had the blackened sea bass special, which was a nice serving size, with a very tasty sauce, perfectly done, and my friend had the macadamia nut crusted halibut, which was also delicious and a very nice -sized portion that was enough too for breakfast the following morning. Were served with sides of mashed potatoes, but could be substituted for side vegetable The birthday dessert treat was a chocolate mousse with whipped cream... which was OK.. Overall I would return in future, for special occasions.

I took my friend there for a birthday dinner, where we had a table outside with view of the verdant Torrey Pines hills, Carmel Valley & sunset over the Pacific. I had a delicious swordfish enteee & she had the cioppino, which she raved about. This restaurant does a big sunset business, so don’t forget reaervations. Go, I think you’ll love it!

I had previously posted a review detailing how we were seated inside and basically forgotten/ignored, but we decided to give it one more try since it was a busy Friday night last visit. This time we were seated quickly, served quickly and attentively, and the food was great. Must have been a one off event last time.

Visited for the first time last week while vacationing in Solana Beach. We had the artichokes and octopus carpaccio as appetizers. Both were delicious and presented beautifully. Our entrees were equally tasty. The views of the nature reserve are the icing on the cake. We'll be making this a regular stop.

I have been to Seasalt several times previously and the service and ambiance on those occasions were very good. However, on this visit the service was extremely slow, and the wait staff did not seem confident. The noise level was high enough to make ordinary conversation difficult. The food was still excellent. Perhaps there were many new hires that night, but the overall experience was poor. I hope to return at another time and find the previous levels of service have resumed.
