The service was not very poor. I’ve dined here in the past with just the opposite experience. I prefer restaurants with consistency and this most recent experience was unfortunate. The food was fair not the best steak and was cooked to what I specified when ordering. I would tell anyone dining hear after this most recent experience it’s worthier going to be a hit or mess.

Though the hotel itself was very impressive, this particular eating establishment was nothing more than average. The food was rather bland, the shrimp cocktail had hardly any flavor and the cocktail sauce was runny. The steak was charded with an awful, bitter aftertaste. The complimentary chocolate strawberries were the best part of the meal. Wine selection rather limited. SEAR might be great for hotel visitors, but for a special occasion, I would not recommend it. The prices are steep for what you get. But unlike higher rated restaurants whose higher prices are justified, this is more likely due to being in a hotel rather than related to the quality of the service or the food.

I had a great time dining at SEAR. I was there to celebrate my 21st birthday and they did an amazing job accommodating my friends and I. The food was delicious (I had the 8 oz. filet mignon - so good), the ambiance was wonderful, and the service was very attentive and kind. I would recommend this restaurant for celebrating a variety of occasions or even for a nice casual dinner.

It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Nothing else was even worth mentioning....

Pleased with experience overall. Attended a very busy convention and pleased that noise level was not an issue for our business dinner. All pleased with quality of food and very good service.

SEAR was alright of an experience. The food was good, but not impressive. My fiancé and I went for the first time before a show at the Fox theater - we probably won’t be going back.

Our service was terrible. The food was amazing. We've always enjoyed eating at Sear while in Atlanta but next time, will simply specify to not be with our past server.

We were seated promptly. Food was prepared to order and served timely. Our drinks came with our appetizer since the restaurant was short staffed. They place was full with customers and our waiter worked tirelessly to keep us and his tables around satisfied! Desserts were phenomenal!!!!

My employees and I travel to Atlanta every January on a buying trip for my shop. One of the three nights that we are there we eat at Sear. We look forward to it each year and are never disappointed. The food is wonderful and the many layered chocolate cake is always worth waiting a year for. We will be back!!!

When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated promptly. The server came to the table while we were discussing business and realized not to interrupt. She very nicely walked away and came back a few minutes later.

The food was served as requested and was very good.

Overall a good experience.

The food was excellent. I had scallops—perfectly cooked. My husband had the New Years three course dinner—strawberries and champagne, salad, filet, and dessert. It was definitely a football crowd. A little noisy, people in jeans and football garb. The service was so so. Don got his entree before he finished his salad and there was not enough room on the table for both. Restaurant was not full. I think it would be a totally different experience had there not been a game the following day.

Seafood was excellent. Shrimp and grits and crab cake outstanding. Bone In Strip extremely overcooked but replacement steak cooked perfectly. Did not like the au gratin potatoes at all.

The steak was odd. Very bitter. Never had a bitter steak before. The lobster ravioli would have been good if the lobster hadn’t been over done and someone hadn’t drizzled balsamic vinegar over the cream sauce. Doesn’t everyone know vinegar curdles cream? Ugh.

The service was pretty good. The drinks weren’t bad! It was quiet and the ambience was soothing. The food? That kinda sucked.

Oh, except for the corn crab chowder. My husband reminded me that was really good.

We ate here after the SEC Championship game because everywhere was booked. We were pleasantly surprised with the hush puppies and would tell anyone who eats there to order them. The steak was cooked wonderfully. The potatoes were bland and not worth the price. The worst part was the lack of attention from our actual server. It took 10 minutes for anyone to say hello after we were seated. The manager was the only one who waited to hear our response before walking away. I am sure for the cost, one could find a better meal.

Our 2nd visit. Family holiday get-together. It was so good, we brought the family back for another delicious meal! This restaurant has its very own top/notch culinary staff . All baked goods are made on premises. Food is fresh with a range of options to satisfy all preferences. If you don't see it on the menu or wish to have modifications to entrees, they will accommodate your requests. The wait staff is friendly and professional! We will definitely return on our next visit to Atlanta.
