One of the best steaks I've ever had and the bread was incredible.
The attention to detail provided by the whole staff was wonderful everyone there was initiative to making out experience wonderful. Job well done !!!!
Great food. Decor and ambiance exceptional. Service greats as well.
Provided a great venue for a casual business dinner that did not break the bank. The food was very good and the ambience fine; open and warm and not stuffy and overbearing.
The only issue I had with SEAR was the wait staff. They were slow with food even when not really busy and waited over an hour for checks at end of dinner. I would recommend for food but make sure to let people know that if took over 4 hrs to have a meal.
Something was off about the whole meal. Both of us got the 28 day age steak. This is something we had before. The taste was slightly off. It did not taste the same as our last two meals. We suspect that the Dragon Con rush may have had an effect on the quality. We will eat there again, but maybe not in the crush.
Wonderful waiter and food. Thanks!
That good was amazing, and with being how busy it was because of dragon con it was good service as well.
Took an hour and a half to eat once seated. 4 of us. Cost about 3X what it should for portion size. Service was ok. Was good tasting, though!
The snapper was dry and was not good. However the management replaced it with the ribs which were excellent. The peach cobbler was also excellent.
we acknowledge we had a large group - but the restaurant was well aware and prepared in advance for our arrival. we also acknowledge that the hotel was very busy hosting an event, but the restaurant appeared to be only 50-60% full. table was set nicely and ready for us when we arrived. the food was delicious and perfectly prepared, however the positive comments end there. after being seated for 30 minutes with only water service (which not everyone received), we approached the hostess/woman with ipad roaming the restaurant and asked for our server. she apologized and admitted she forgot to assign a server to our table. we assumed she would remedy the situation as quickly as possible, but we sat for another several minutes before a server approached us. we ordered drinks and our food. after another 30 minutes we still had not received a single beverage. we approached the hostess for a second time, and again she apologized profusely and proceeded to do...nothing. we asked to speak with the manager, and i really wish we hadn’t wasted our time with the sweet but not helpful hostess. he asked what he could do to help, and we requested a couple bottles of wine. he returned promptly with a nice pour for each of us, and our food arrived shortly after. we were ready to forgive our previous grievances but then it was time to pay the check. it took another 30 minutes for the server to settle our bill. i think if the restaurant had assigned two servers to our table our experience would have been completely different, but it just wasn’t managed well at all. i would definitely not recommend this restaurant for parties larger than 6.
Food was not excellent even though prices were very high.
Incredible service and great food / atmosphere. A must stop for hotel guests and anyone traveling in the area should also treat themselves to a really great place to fine.
Place and service was great! Food was just ok. Nothing to write home about. However the service was amazing( even though upon sitting down my wine glass had lipstick stains on it) but it was corrected immediately. The manager did a complimentary dessert which we greatly appreciated For our anniversary but again the food was just ok but the service and staff was great.
Waitress was excellent and accomodating
Not as good as we hoped.
Only thing we all was disappointed with was when we got the check, we would have left additional tip, if we hadn't asked for the itemized bill, where we saw tip was included...
Came here for lunch with a friend today. First, I had a 12pm reservation which I told the hostess about, but she didn't mark it off with open table (this is the second time it has happened now). The service was non-existent, the waters were not filled for extended amount of time, and we waited ONE FULL HOUR to get our food. I got a chicken Caesar salad and my friend got a tuna wrap with fries. We ordered at 12:07pm and got our food at 1:07pm. It was PATHETIC. since we were both in our lunch breaks, we had to ask the server to wrap our food to go. Of course, to top it all off, he did not include any utensils or napkins with the wrapped up food.
Needless to say, our food was soggy and disgusting by the time we got back to the office to eat them after we wasted over an hour sitting there. If it weren't for the fact that they had free valet parking, I would have never gone to lunch there with their overpriced and underwhelming food (just under $18 for a gross chicken Caesar salad) and poor service.
When I asked why our food took so long, all I got was some lame excuse about them being busy cause of other tables. First, there weren't that many other customers - the one table with 8 elderly ladies had a reservation so they should have been prepared for that. Secondly, literally every other table got their food well before we did even though some of the showed up after us. Lastly, I think we can all agree that ONE FULL HOUR of wait time to get your food is unacceptable at any restaurant under any circumstance, especially one that charges that much for a less than mediocre chicken Caesar salad. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a supposedly "upscale" restaurant. I might as well have gone to McDonald's - at least I would have gotten my food a heck of a lot faster.
I won't be back any time soon, if ever.
We showed up at 7 for our reservation. By 8:30 my wife made us leave because the food we ordered at 7:25 still hadn’t came out. There was about 15 open tables the restaurant was not even close to busy. The manager told us our food was coming out soon. lol If the manager knew about our long wait, why didn’t he ever come to our table and give us an explanation of what the heck was going on. Also bizarre was the lights kept going from bright to dim...
The food overall was not bad! However, I feel for the price range it was within, the overall flavor profiles were not worth it. Still delicious yes! But you could probably get more bang for your buck elsewhere.
Had a birthday brunch there and the staff was very accommodating. Buffet selections were great and the food was hot and fresh.
Service started out okay but after meal was served we were never asked if more drinks etc, Bill's scanned on wrong cards. Had to wait to get waiter to take our bills . Not impressed at all.
Food was great! Delicious filet and the peach cobbler was to die for. Ask for Sylvester... he was awesome to help navigate through the menu.
Steak was over cooked
Service was ok, not great
Breakfast is great at this restaurant. We had the buffet 3 times
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Dinner not good
We walked by Sear everyday going to market so decided to try it out our last night. I’m glad we did. My filet was perfect and my husband’s grouper was fabulous. The mashed potatoes were marvelous! I would definitely eat there again!
Way too expensive for what you got.
We paid a quarter of the price and got 2x as much food at ihop.
That’s just sad.
The food was good, just not worth as much as they charged.
Great Service. Good atmosphere. Food was just okay.
Excellent meal. Very nice for hotel dining
Usually eat here every year during Atlanta market.
Scallops, wine, pleasant down time after a long day.
What more could you ask for
Worst dining experience ever. 1st they bring the correct wine. Service slow. Next after two bites of the steak I felt like it was overcooked. Asked waitress and assistant Manager what they thought., they agreed. Manager took steak away then brought it back cut in two to show how wrong I was. Really? Well at least they didn't charge for it. The steak that is, everything else full price. I mean bad experience full price.
Awful experience (especially the service) and will not be back.
My food was burnt and my friends food was cold. It took 75 minutes to get our entrees. The manager was nice and tried to fix the issue but the server just tried to ignore us because he knew we were unhappy.
Ate here recently on a busy night, BUT... it took well over an hour to get our food when we ordered only salads and side dishes. Our server never came by to even just say that they were behind or to refill our drinks (long empty). We all understood that it was a busy night but if the restaurant can't handle a full capacity, they should reduce the size of their seating to what they can manage. The food was just okay and the menu was very limited to begin with. The only bright spot was that our second bottle of wine was comped because of the excessively long wait time, but that was only after we asked for some kind of discount for the poor service. Sorry, but won't be dining here again!
Food was excellent but a bit on the pricey side. Service was great.
The first thing we were told after being seated was that our server was ‘backed up’, but he would be with us shortly. Thought that was odd, since the restaurant was virtually empty. After 45 minutes, we still hadn’t seen our server, although the manager had come by to take our order. Servers were flirting back and forth servicing other tables but ours had yet to appear. After a trip to the hostess stand to find out what was going on (by this time it had been just under an hour), our food appeared. My grouper was actually quite good, but my wife’s scallops were luke warm. They ended up comping 2 desserts, but I don’t anticipate a return trip to Sear. It cost $100 for the 2 of us. For that, I expected much better.
The bisque was chunky, filet mignon was chewy and not hot, the brussel sprouts chewed like rubber so I had to send those back. They only decent item was the mashed potatoes, and even those were subpar. I will not be returning.
Every person in my group enjoyed the food so much. No disappoinments from the appetizers to desserts.
The staff and food was exceptional. We will recommend SEAR to our colleagues and friends.
Good food, average wine list but INCREDIBLE service. Seriously, the food was good - but not outstanding, but the service was the highlight of the visit. The staff here takes their job very seriously and it shows; well trained, exceedingly polite and quick with a smile. I would come back on my next trip because of the service alone. Good food and drink just adds the cherry on top.
