An alternative to mainstream steakhouses, Sear provides diners a menu developed from locally-sourced ingredients curated by the hotel's award-winning culinary team.
Taking cues from hotel architect John C. Portman, Sear’s facelift invites people in from the buzzing hotel lobby with stunning sliding doors, opening up the space to passersby. Adorned with art by local talent and complimented with a mix of wood, metal, concrete and leather elements, the space mixes farmhouse ambiance with industrial style.

Very poor service. Meals served cold etc
We were disappointed in the menu offerings. The food was ok, but extremely slow service.
Dinner for a friend’s birthday was fantastic...service and food were both very good....would definitely eat there again.
I was expecting a MUCH better meal than what we received. The 8oz Filet was good but absolutely NOT a $48 steak whatsoever. I've had similar priced steaks at Ruth's Chris and the Capital Grill and in comparison, this Filet was more like Longhorn. In addition, everything was A La Cart and the Brussel Sprouts were not cooked correctly. They were much too hard. The wait staff was oblivious to what and what was not Gluten Free for the person dining with me. Once the meals were delivered we didn't see her again until we asked for the bill. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
Food came out slow and cold, and did not match what the menu said. However, the waitress brought another dish instead, and the substitute was very tasty.
The dry aged striploin was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning and flavor
Everything was good, but I was looking forward to some Oysters on the half shell and they informed me they had none. Very disappointing, even though they were on the menu.
Very good restaurant. The only complaint is that as a steakhouse, the grill guy/girl needs to be perfect when cooking to temperature. Our steak was delicious but overcooked. We ordered medium rare but got med/med well. Patrik our server was great and took care of us. Overall a great experience!
Food was delicious! Restaurant was very warm. Wine was hot!! service was very slow!!
mediocre at best. the server disappeared for a large party. nothing too exciting about the hotel restaurant
The problem we had was with the steak. We ordered it well done, but when we were served it had pink in it. It had to go back 3 times and it still had pink in it. I told the waiter to take it back again, but my wife insisted that it would be fine. I don’t know what the cook was doing, but have your order returned to you 3 times and it still wasn’t fixed says a lot about the cook.
Oz, our server was awesome! She was knowledgeable, didn't rush service and was very attentive ! The food was also very good and came out in a timely fashion. Huge shout out to the staff for delivering a great lunch experience. We will be back!
Beautiful restaurant! Food and drinks were amazing!! I will be returning and telling friends.
Wonderful! Very good for our first time here, will definitely be back!
It was great
Beautiful Restaurant: great service, excellent food.
I had the halibut special, mash potatoes and carrots.
All were fabulous! The lamb chops were also very good. The wedge salad was bid enough to share and very tasty !
We will go back!
The food was just ok and considering the price, I would probably not go back. Service was outstanding and ambiance was nice but the food was just ok.
Waited almost an hour to get food (which most of the table ordered salads). 3 salads were ordered (same order) and one salad came without apples and a very small amount of figs. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, kept saying they were extremely busy but not all tables were full. For 5 people, the tab totalled 100.00. Very expensive for a lunch menu and definitely not worth the price given the service and quality of food.
Great place - comfortable and good food. Prices reasonable and very good service.
Wonderful birthday dinner with my wife. Starting the evening off amazingly.
The amount of time it took to have our food delivered to our table has led to an unwillingness to return at this time. The food was good but the wait to me seemed unreasonable to say the place was not very busy when we went.
One of the best Striploins I've ever had. The goes for the File Mignon of my wife! Kudos to the kitchen!!!
Dinner options at Sear were limited. The service was great. The tomato bisque soup that came with a small grilled cheese had too much salt. The special fish was a little too dry — felt like it sat after cooking for a bit before it was served.
Service was good !
Everything was very good. The service was outstanding.
Overpriced food for mediocre flavor. The food was NOT seasoned, and the meat was not very meaty.
lamb chops, short rib, and beer poached shrimp were great, but not worth 125.00 before the tip. i've definitely had better meals for 150.00
Our meal was delicious. The group shared the Rock Shrimp and house made rolls. Our entries were the Cowboy Ribeye and Lamb Chops. All dishes were well prepared and to order.
One of the best steaks I've ever had and the bread was incredible.
The attention to detail provided by the whole staff was wonderful everyone there was initiative to making out experience wonderful. Job well done !!!!
Great food. Decor and ambiance exceptional. Service greats as well.
Provided a great venue for a casual business dinner that did not break the bank. The food was very good and the ambience fine; open and warm and not stuffy and overbearing.
The only issue I had with SEAR was the wait staff. They were slow with food even when not really busy and waited over an hour for checks at end of dinner. I would recommend for food but make sure to let people know that if took over 4 hrs to have a meal.
Something was off about the whole meal. Both of us got the 28 day age steak. This is something we had before. The taste was slightly off. It did not taste the same as our last two meals. We suspect that the Dragon Con rush may have had an effect on the quality. We will eat there again, but maybe not in the crush.
Wonderful waiter and food. Thanks!
That good was amazing, and with being how busy it was because of dragon con it was good service as well.
Took an hour and a half to eat once seated. 4 of us. Cost about 3X what it should for portion size. Service was ok. Was good tasting, though!
The snapper was dry and was not good. However the management replaced it with the ribs which were excellent. The peach cobbler was also excellent.
we acknowledge we had a large group - but the restaurant was well aware and prepared in advance for our arrival. we also acknowledge that the hotel was very busy hosting an event, but the restaurant appeared to be only 50-60% full. table was set nicely and ready for us when we arrived. the food was delicious and perfectly prepared, however the positive comments end there. after being seated for 30 minutes with only water service (which not everyone received), we approached the hostess/woman with ipad roaming the restaurant and asked for our server. she apologized and admitted she forgot to assign a server to our table. we assumed she would remedy the situation as quickly as possible, but we sat for another several minutes before a server approached us. we ordered drinks and our food. after another 30 minutes we still had not received a single beverage. we approached the hostess for a second time, and again she apologized profusely and proceeded to do...nothing. we asked to speak with the manager, and i really wish we hadn’t wasted our time with the sweet but not helpful hostess. he asked what he could do to help, and we requested a couple bottles of wine. he returned promptly with a nice pour for each of us, and our food arrived shortly after. we were ready to forgive our previous grievances but then it was time to pay the check. it took another 30 minutes for the server to settle our bill. i think if the restaurant had assigned two servers to our table our experience would have been completely different, but it just wasn’t managed well at all. i would definitely not recommend this restaurant for parties larger than 6.
Food was not excellent even though prices were very high.
Incredible service and great food / atmosphere. A must stop for hotel guests and anyone traveling in the area should also treat themselves to a really great place to fine.
