The setting was cozy and comfortable and the service was impeccable. Definitely one of the best filets I've had, perfectly cooked and served with a tasty garlic butter.

Our party of 4 ate early, when patronage was sparse. Food good. Service good. Wine Pricing high, but acceptable for the hotel setting. Food and Dessert pricing high. Sear is useful for convenience if staying at the hotel, but we'll check other local options next time we're in town.

Went to Atlanta to meet some friends for my birthday and dined at SEAR as we were staying in the Atlanta MArriott Marquis. Had a wonderful evening - the service was stellar, the ambiance quiet and upscale and the Crab-stuffed-Hush-puppies were AWESOME!!

Appetizer was good, but main steak was not good. I ordered rare, but they served medium.

SEAR offers comfortable dining in contemporary setting, which my companion and I appreciated. We started with the lump crab cake appetizer, and having been on a lifelong quest for the perfect crab cake, I think we found it at SEAR. No kidding. For dinner, I ordered the rib eye steak, and while pricey, every bite was scrumptious. Unfortunately, my companion got the scallops, and they were rubbery--either overcooked or previously frozen, hard to tell.
The best part of SEAR though was our waiter, Andrew. A total PRO. The kind of old school waiter who treats customers well. I appreciated his professionalism.
Overall, it's a good place to have dinner.

We had our annual school luncheon. This was a wonderful, and professional experience. The hostess were very welcoming. They had our tables together as requested. The waiters were friendly, accurate and provided us with excellent service. To top it off the food was absolutely fabulous!

Made a reservation and assumed they would be prepared. They seated us and then we sat and waited and waited. No one came to take our order and see if we wanted anything to drink. I had to get up and find someone to see who was working our table and try and get a drink. Waited a long time in between courses. Then ordered ice cream for dessert. We wanted an ice cream Sunday. They brought out a bottle of Hershey syrup for us and set it on our table. And then about 10 minutes later our ice cream came out and it was all melted like it had been sitting out in the kitchen for quite a while. We told them we were unhappy about our experience. The manager came over and apologized but that was it. Not a good experience and way below our expectations.

We had a larger party of 8 and we might have been the only guest. 5 of the guest ordered lamb chops, 4 were cooked to the wrong wellness. 2 of them switched their plates, even though that made their sides incorrect. 1 just decided to eat it and 1 just didn't eat. They did take care of that last guest and the chef did send a bottle of wine over to help out. It was a nice evening even with the cooking error, but you would think that a "steak house" could cook the meat to the proper temperature, especially on a slow night

I have traveled a lot for business and I often eat out alone at night. Many restaurants in hotels are the worst dining experience, at Sear that was not the case. The steak was delightful. But my waiter Sylvester made the experience memorable.

I was staying at the hotel and went to SEAR for a quiet dinner. The wait staff was attentive, pleasant and my water filled regularly. The place was pretty empty. I chose a vegan entree of grilled vegetables. It was nicely presented (perhaps a bit oily) and grilled to the proper firmness. At $19.95 it was a reasonable value. My one complaint would be the dessert. They were out of the Panna cotta, my first selection, and suggested raspberry sorbet, which I chose. It was not exceptional (in fact seemed a bit freezer burned) and I would not recommend this to anyone. I was surprised at the $9 price on the bill, (no menu was presented, so it was my fault for not inquiring the cost) ... not worth it.

Our service was lovely, but apparently the kitchen was extremely backed up. The food took a very long time and when it come, the steak was ice cold and raw, the salmon was over cooked. The flatbread that had arrived prior was also cold. We sent all that back. Breakfast is far better at this spot for sure.

Waited for over one hour and 20 minutes for our order. We were seated and the restaurant was maybe half full.

Finally had to go and ask where our food was. When it was finally delivered, there was no bill.

Our waiter was fine, but the delivery of food in a timely manner was not acceptable.

Food was OK, nothing to brag on.

Stopped at Marriott Marque downtown on our way back to Michigan. Chose this bc it had restaurant n bar choices. After watching the Kentucky Derby w a very well made Mint Julep we dined at Sear. Had the bone in ribeye w the veggie dinner plated n shared. Steak was tasty n med rare. Waiter was excellent This isn’t a Ruth’s Chris but was prepared correctly n served well. And we didn’t have to walk along the streets of Atlanta to get there
