Great food, service & views! Had the duck, which was delicious. The waitress was exceptional and the table provided was just what I requested for the special occasion.

Having been to Seaglass many times, I am still impressed with their food and service. The lies is unbeatable. Nothing like a table adjacent to the ocean!
A very good value proposition.

Had our 26th anniversary lunch at the Seaglass and it was wonderful. Our soups and entrees we not rushed. The ocean with snow and sea fog was beautiful. This is our new favorite restaurant. Thanks so much for making a memorable day!

Disappointing. We have had excellent dinners and lunches here in the past, but on this occasion, things were not close to the past quality of food or experience.

Oceanside and nice large open with high ceilings and comfortable seating restaurant that is part of the music hall venue. Possibly good for weddings. Large bar. 6 of us went to Sunday Brunch 2 of us had drinks (Memosas) bill was $190. Brunch was good with a reasonable diversified menu. Omlette station was made to order. Had prime rib and turkey carving station. Rest of food was served buffet style and was nice.
There was no bagels or bread available. I thought that this was strange for a brunch. Our server disappeared for 30 minutes after getting us coffee. No one picked up plates at table when we went for 2nd round of food. After we were finished I asked the server about bread/bagels and she said we should have asked for these because they had electrical problems with toasters on the food line. Funny, when we first got there, she asked us if were new customers for the brunch and explained to us about how to use the buffet. She did not mention anything about asking her for bread service. I guess she really needed a break. I guess if the management had any serious customer service desire, they would have placed a couple of little signs on the serving lines or at the tables saying "Please ask your server if you would like to enjoy some of our freshly toasted breads or bagels."

This was our first trip to Seaglass for birthday brunch. The food was fantastic, the selection was great. My only complaint was that when I made my reservation, I requested waterfront/window view and was nowhere near a window. I asked to be moved to an empty table near the window and they told me it was reserved but nobody sat there the entire time we dined. However, they did accommodate by seating us in front of the fireplace without many other tables nearby so that was nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Went to see a concert at Blue Ocean Music Hall and decided to have dinner at Seaglass prior to the show. So glad we did. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious and well prepared. My T-bone steak was cooked to perfection and my New England clam chowder was extremely flavorful. My wife’s salmon was also well prepared and as flavorful. My children had the shrimp and they loved it. The restaurant and music venue are a great combination for a great night out. I highly recommend both. We will be back.

Very nice over all as usual. Only problem was the party seated right next to us was too close. Apparently a woman kept turning & looking at us like we were annoying her. Unfortunately we have a person who is hard of hearing so she should have moved. I think next time you might want to space tables out since there was lots of open window seating.
On the other hand, Blake our server was awesome. Took very good care of us.

I'm sure you don't really want to know how horrific our experience was. It was so bad I cannot even comment on our food because we had to shove it down our throats for the price because we ordered it and it didn't arrive for over an hour!!! Yes ... an hour. We sat down earlier than our reservation (about 4:15 so we had plenty of time for drinks, dinner and maybe even a dessert before the show (Maureen Hancock at 6:30) and we alerted our waiter that we would be attending it. Our order was taken around 4:30, our drinks arrived around 5 and our meal was delivered after 5:30. I did complain to the manager who was difficult to find and the girl at the front desk didn't know I was standing there for a good 3 - 4 minutes because she was busy texting on her cell phone. After a moment I cleared my throat and asked her to put her phone down and find the manager (? name but a dark haired young man). After my complaint, he tried to explained that it wasn't their fault. WHAT?? and that they weren't prepared for the number of people that night per staff! (REALLY???)
The other five people with me were affected too and this absolutely stunk! We are all perplexed about ever coming or recommending the Seaglass. The food we "engulfed" smelled delicious. The desserts passing us looked phenomenal and but had no time. One of us left the table with five coats to hold our seats in the auditorium (and she never ate, we got her food to go since she had to pay for it anyway).

So needless to say, here's my quick breakdown and as a business owner (and now I can't trust bring a client there) things I saw that need improvement:
1) Have to rate the food poor cause we never really had time to taste or enjoy it
2) Staff was horrific and it technically wasn't their fault it was the managements fault for improper staffing.
3) Ambiance was nice from what we could see because the sun was setting
4) Hostess should not be allowed to have her cell phone with her at her station.

Window seat was requested and we go the best seat in the house! Fantastic food and beautiful setting! It was a special birthday celebration and the evening was perfect! We attended an event up stairs (Festival of Trees) after our meal. It was a perfect ending to a great night!

This was my first time going to eat Sunday brunch which I've heard about for a while. I was finally able to go because I wanted to see what Festival of Trees at the Blue Ocean Event Center was all about so it was convenient to eat downstairs at the Seaglass. Wow! I was blown away by how much great food there was! All the usual breakfast comfort foods (eggs, bacon, homemade potatoes) were served and delicious! But there was also a delicious carving station with prime rib! I had a mimosa with my meal and with the ocean view in front of me it felt like I was dining like a millionaire! The friendly staff and great ambience add to its value. I highly recommend this place and looking forward to coming back!

This is one of our family favorites!
Brunch is always great and dinner everchanging (which we love).
The kids love watching the waves as we eat.
Make sure to request a seat by the window overlooking the ocean in your Opentable reservation as they are hard to come by if not planned in advance.

We enjoyed the Seaglass restaurant before a Todd Rundgren concert for the second time. The reservations were easy, and the food was quite good, including the "Dueling Duck" which was well-prepared. Service was fine as was the rest of the experience. One area that needs improvement is the lighting: Diners shining iPhones to light up their menus were distracting and annoying. It was not possible to read the menu without supplemental lighting. I suspect the furniture is worn, but couldn't see well enough to be certain. Overall this place is good and right on the ocean so if you are there in the daytime it should be even better.

Great food for Sunday brunch but very slow service. We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time even though the restaurant was about 1/3 empty. It took a long time to get our bill too. I had to ask another waiter for help and ended up tipping him. The food was really yummy though and the view is spectacular.

Reserved one month ahead in person for a specific front window table for six, a seventh birthday for high school friends who traveled great distance for special dinner. The reservation was confirmed three additional times in addition to a dinner at same table two weeks before celebration dinner. I am a frequent customer and know the tables well. After waiting 30 minutes after reserved time we were shown to a different table not on the waterside. I was embarrassed and outraged that not only were we not giving the correct table but I was lied to! I told my party we were not to sit down and I sought management to correct this error, who continued to lie. I put much time and follow up to make this a special night for my friends and it was only saved by the fantastic waitress, Dawn. She make up for the most upsetting situation.i have since learned this has happened to other friends who have had their reservations changed. We were finally seated at a window table when I refused to sit at another table. Management should be ashamed to both lie and treat guests in such a manner.
