Food and service were not good. Seemed like they were short staffed but didn’t say. Waitress was very nice but not attentive. One of meals was cooked wrong and we sent it back. Took so long to get we got the check without it. They did give it to us to go and didn’t charge us but not what we expected. And, usually management will come over in these situations and did not. Won’t be going back.
Fish sandwich ($21) had no more than 2 ounces of fish and was way too spicy, even for blackened fish.I am happy to say that the waitress took off the charge for the sandwich and offered another piece, that I declined. The fish tacos ($21) Ihad plenty of fish and I shared with companion. The fries were good. The scallops and risotto contained three scallops and bland flavored risotto for $38.It just seemed over priced. Nice atmosphere.
Food was good, but we had long wait with a reservation. They seemed highly understaffed. We felt bad for the servers.
The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is delicious! It is a little pricey but portions are reasonable and service is excellent!
This was our second visit and dinner again was delicious. Really nice restaurant.
Great location with a wonderful view and good food and service!!
View was incredible! Nice place to go for any occasion. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will be going back!
The view was beautiful the food was delicious. The price was a little bit expensive but loved it all.
loved the ambiance and the space was gorgeous! The food was good and came out very quickly which was nice. The service could have been better. Overall had a great time.
Great Service, Great Food, and great setting with a Rainbow !
Frequent guest during the summer. Love Seaglass. Food was ok. But the children running around was very distracting. Maybe management should have spoken to the 2 parties with children to stay seated. But I still love the Seaglass and will be back soon!
Always a wonderful experience. Beet salad was excellent as was the espresso martini. Burger was good but overcooked and no cheese.
View is fantastic, service was great, drinks were yummy, food was not worth the price. Crab cake benedict must have sat too long in the kitchen because the eggs were WAY overcooked. Waitstaff was great and sent newly poached eggs right away. You are definitely paying for the view, not for the food, though.
Understand that you are paying for the view, when going here. And it is awesome.
Waitress and waiters were excellent. Food was outstanding.
Would recommend to anyone for a nice formal dinner.
Went to celebrate my dads birthday. He often has difficulty navigating tight spaces and areas of loud volume. Plenty of space between tables and not too loud so he was able to feel included in conversation. Service was fantastic as was all of the food from the steak to the tuna and desserts. Larger portions but that just means we got to enjoy it the next day too!
Great food and service
I have been dining regularly at the Seaglass for almost two years once a month or more often. I love the place and the service is outstanding, especially Jeannie!
I have almost always loved the food, but yesterday I brought five long time co-workers for an impromptu reunion and found myself very disappointed in the food.
I had shrimp scampi. It was not good at all. The shrimp was fishy. The sauce was creamy tasting thick like creamed corn. I prefer aglio olio. The pasta was dried out on top hard to chew. We also had firecracker shrimp that was so over-cooked and dried out you couldn’t barely chew it.
I did not send it back because I didn’t want to disrupt our event, but had I been with one friend I would definitely have sent it back.
The menu changed and not for the good. I was very disappointed😟
Service was very slow. Also she kept messing up drink orders. I got a vodka soda after ordering a beer and she didn't even know the cocktails on the menu. When I ordered a blackberry mint mimosa, it did not taste like it. So I went to the bartender and she said there was no mint on there. Food was delicious though the pita chips that came with the artichoke dip tasted stale but we just got a basket of bread and that worked perfectly. The ambiance and food made it special. Shout out to the brunette witness that was not ours but kept an eye on our water glasses and bread basket.
First. Let me say how happy I am that there is no more plexiglass!! Back to normal dining is wonderful!! We chose to sit at the bar and not a high top as there were seats available and chatting with Jeannie is always a pleasure. She is so amazing at the bar! And the music playlist was awesome too!! Kudos to whoever queued that up! Food & drinks were delish as always. Thanks!
Beautiful restaurant, great food, friendly and courteous service. I have been to Sea Glass on several occasions and it is always consistent. Would highly recommend!
Always like the SeaGlass and there Baked Haddock. I do not know if they got a new chef but the haddock was fresh but so salty I had a hard time eating it. The mashed potatoes were not the best. I was so looking forward to this meal since we were celebrating our 51st Aniversary but was very dissapointed in the meal.
Excellent service; fresh and delicious sea food. Portion size is very big.
Nice atmosphere, ocean view was beautiful. Food was excellent and portions good sized
This was at first hard to find... so much construction going on around them.. not their fault however... once there we were seated immediately.. or guests who flew in from FL had already been seated.. love that! No pressure as our guests from Maine were delayed by traffic. Our table was amazing,
right at the window! Drinks were very slow in coming, however, dinner did came out in a timely manner. Food was nicely presented, tasted great... little stingy on the vegetables though. Orders were haddock, the salmon, the mac n cheese, the lobster roll, filet mignon, and the scallops. Salmon dish was more than generous, haddock diner complained not enough, too little veggies, too much potato. Too much $$ for the mac n cheese. All in all it was enjoyable.
Exterior not what I was expecting.
The restaurant is beautiful but does smell a little fishy
Service food and view were great!
Prices are a bit high (lunch for 3, 2 drinks, no apps > $125)
Great food in an amazing location! The waitress was wonderful and the food and drink were superb.
Amazing views. Amazing food. Amazing cocktails! We will be back!!
We are frequent customers of Seaglass since we only live 2 blocks away. This restaurant is one of our favorites! Great ocean views, great food, excellent service and presentation!
Love the views even on a rainy day, watching the surf. Food was wonderful - great lunch/brunch menu choices. Cocktails were excellent. Super pleasant wait staff and bartender.
Our first time there. I would recommend it. Chowder was nothing special. Very very thick. Haddock Florentine was great. Ribs eye was pretty good. Good portions. Good drinks. Great service. Amazing view especially on a stormy day. Try to get e window table
We loved everything about our evening at the Sea Glass. We were 30 minutes late due to holiday traffic. The staff was very understanding and very accommodating. It The waitress met our every culinary need, of which we had many food allergies and sensitivities, with a smile. The food portions were more than enough and everything was prepared to order. We were not rushed, but were able to enjoy our meal and conversation. We are looking forward to revisiting many times in the future for other special occasions.
Ive been here at least 20 times. 3 times since Covid. The food quantity and quality has noticeably changed for the worse. Prices have gone up for the food. My Martini had Ice in! Cheap tactic to get less in you. The spazoid manager nearly hit my wife with a floor sweeper.
The atmosphere is beautiful from the moment you walk into the restaurant. The hostess were very attentive and made sure we were by the window. The waitress was pleasant and continued to make sure we didn't need anything else. The prices of the appetizers and salads and soup were reasonable. The entrees were a little expensive but filled the plate. The lunch was enjoyable.
For some reason, I thought it was going to be a higher-end restaurant. It wasn't terrible, but it's just "ok."
We did the oysters and bang bang cauliflower as apps and they were both very good. Hubby got the Sesame crusted rare Ahi Tuna and I got the Seared Sea scallops however for $38 I was unimpressed with the 3 scallops for an entree. The dessert was divine we had the chocolate cake. All in all we got what we expected. The location is amazing although plan your time well as we went on a Sunday night and the traffic leaving the beach made it hard to get there.
Two in our party had baked haddock, delicious and more than ample portions. I had shrimp scampi, shrimp were large, pasta very good. Husband had filet and was very happy with it. Our special occasion go to location. Such a beautiful view of the ocean.
Just love this place. The food is always excellent and the view is spectacular.
Beautiful setting for a special occasion! The wait staff was perfection; attentive and friendly while never intrusive.
As usual everything at Seaglass was great. I frequent the spot every Wednesday with my friend and we actually were saying last night how great it is to see Jeannie every week since she knows us so well.
