Seaglass Restaurant and Lounge
Birthday dinner
Seaglass never disappoints! We were able to sit at the ocean view corner table and the sea was angry and so interesting and beautiful to watch. It was $11.99 Haddock night and it is every bit as delicious as the full price haddock every other night. we had an awesome night :)
Service was great and staff very accommodating. Specialty cocktails were a big hit too. Food was excellent. We were there with family from NY at the Sea Festival of Trees and then went to dinner. Everyone said book again for next year!
It was a little louder than usual but great food and service
It was a great experience! Food was delicious. The view was beautiful and entertaining for the kids.
We booked a table for two for an anniversary celebration. The food was excellent and so was the service. The ambiance was fine, though we were seated a section with fairly noisy folks, including kids. The table spacing was generous, so it was not bad. Next time we will know to specify the high-tops! We will be back.!
Fresh Haddock and Scallops. The Burger my son got was good as well. Great service from our waitress Debbie. Highly recommend.
Food was very tasty! My husband had the surf although $45. The clams casino as an appetizer was good, but microscopically small! The clams were smaller than the size of quarters!
I had the baked haddock; delicious!
I think they were short staffed the day after Thanksgiving. We were there for lunch at 12. Ordered iced tea and had to ask for sugar 2x. After serving, we were left alone, which made the sugar wait time even longer. Dessert took a long time to come. Otherwise staff was pleasant and food very good
While visiting the area, a friend recommended Seaglass, and I am glad that she did!
Overall the meal was delicious, although my companion noted that his Scallops were tasteless. Everything else was very good!
Stunning ocean view (you are literally sitting over the water). Service was great. Food was good. We had a birthday to celebrate and staff brought a special candle-lit dessert. Highly recommend Seaglass.
This was our first time dining at Seaglass. Everything was superb. I had the duck and my husband had haddock. The portions were plentiful, the food was cooked perfectly. The flavorings were subtle and not overpowering. Our waitress was friendly and responsive. We also were delighted by a saxophonist playing in the background. It enhanced the ambiance. For a large room we were pleased at how comfortable the temperature was even though we were seated near a window. We will definitely come back but most likely in the day to enjoy the ocean view!
I made a reservation since my sister wanted to go to the Festival of Trees and I owed her a belated lunch out and it could not have been a nicer day. The food was spectacular. I had one of the bowls with Squash and Scallops that was so good I can't wait to go back with my husband to have it again. My sister had the combo Chowder, 1/2 Sandwich and side which she also said was delicious. After visiting next door to the Festival of Trees, we came back and had tea and dessert in the lounge and loved that since there was an awesome saxophone player. Then to top of the evening, the 2 young girls working the front desk were beyond kind. My sisters phone died and she isn't great with directions, so they charged her phone and printed out directions for her. Now that is excellent service! And for those of you reading this that might not be aware, the restaurant is right on the ocean!
Annual Festival ofvyrees
2nd time there and it was great again!! Friends had clam chowder and lobster tacos and said it was the best meal! Steak was delish and the waitress was great!!
We were greeted with a very bubbly server! She was fun and so pleasant, she made our experience great! The food was amazing, hot, so many flavors and plenty of it. Our drinks were great too! All around enjoyable night with my family! The piano player was fantastic too!
Very good dining experience. We were fortunate to get a table by the window which was an incredible treat for our guest from Kansas City. Food was very good. Service was very good as well, but slow. Additionally, it was odd to receive the soup at the same time as the meal.
The only disappointment is that the last mean came out several minutes after all others so our dinner was getting cold. Drinks were delivered before the last meal. Another reason why service was not rated as highly.
Never fails. Outstanding menu, amazing views of the ocean, and impeccable service.
Amazing time as always! My fav restaurant, Thank you Seaglass and Staff for always providing a wonderful experience! See you again soon.
Excellent as always !! Do yourself a favor try this place. You cant miss here !!
We are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit! We look forward to seeing you again!
Excellent service, our waitress Peggy was so sweet. We were celebrating a birthday and unexpectedly she surprised us with a cupcake and candle. We loved it, thank you!
We have booked for Sunday brunch twice and both times had to wait in lobby at least 10 minutes for table to be ready. On its own, that wouldn’t be too bad. Place is pretty and food decent. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. Considering it’s a buffet, I would expect the wait staff to be more attentive. We had dirty plates still sitting on table when we went back up for more, no one came over to see if we wanted more coffee. We had to go over to coffee stand to pour our own. Had to hunt down waitress to get our check
Good food, lots of options, great views and reasonable prices.
Its pretty, our server was excellent, but the food was just okay. My lobster scampi was so sour, maybe too much lemon, or garlic but it was the dominant flavor. My bf had the scallops and really enjoyed them though.
Great service (Lori). Outstanding menu.
This was one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately it was not a good experience Friday evening. First, we asked to sit near the window. The tables were empty. We were told they were reserved. It there at 6:30 and left at 8:30 and they were still empty. Next our entrees were delivered while we were not even half finished with our salads. I asked that the halibut be cooked medium as halibut isn’t very good overcooked. It was overcooked. The tomato sauce was awful that drowned the string beans, mushrooms and mushroom ravioli.
My friend had the salmon. She said it was good. My husband had a haddock dish that he wasn’t pleased it. It was overcooked as well.
I’m any event, we’re not sure if we’ll be returning. It was a very expensive evening and not at all worth it.
Nice venue. Right on the water, very pretty. I gave it an overall 4 star instead of 5 due to as nice as our waitress was she was not attentive. We felt rushed. Our check came before even asking if we would like a coffee. Also my meal was just okay nothing spectacular. However we would go back to try it again
Always great people and great food, never had a bad experience
Food was delicious, table was ready as soon as we arrived, service wasn’t as attentive as I prefer, I’d rather be asked if I want another beverage rather then have to be looking for the server to order another beverage. Will be back!
Restaurant was beautiful clean and the atmosphere was great!! And the food was outstanding!
One of our favorite go-to restaurants! Well-prepared, reasonably sized entrees. Excellent service from Jeanne. And the view of the crashing surf from a window-side table can't be beat!
Waitress never brought my brother's OJ that he ordered. Brunch Buffet was rather sparse compared to others. Quality was good but not great considering the $27 per person cost. Many of the "Hot" items were cold or room temp. Omelet chefs were amateur. My brother's omelet looked a mess, the chef did apologize but gave it to him anyway. Probably never going back to this brunch again. The restaurant has an amazing view of the ocean and the dinners there are excellent, they just need to up their game for this Sunday brunch. Sorry but simply not worth the money.
Incredibly disappointing experience! Our reservation was at the same time that they were hosting a very large event. I had to wait for 10 minutes for a plate and they kept running out of food and I would have to wait longer. Once I finally got to sit down my food was cold and fair tasting. Wasn’t worth the crowd to try to wait for more so I barely ate anything yet still paid the premium price. Restaurant should not have reservations at the same time as an event. Terrible experience for a planned birthday brunch. Was also shocked to be charged for a 1-year old. Never pay for under 2 for buffets. Can’t say I would ever return.
The new menu is outstanding! The tastiness of the food combined with the ocean views never disappoints!
Food was delicious, well-presented, and fresh. The service was great - our server checked in often and let us set the pace for dinner. Great experience.
Great evening. Food, service and music all outstanding!!
Great Experience thank you!
View, food and service is always excellent
Seaglass is always a nice special occasion dining experience.... In this case a girlfriend's birthday lunch.
All guests seemed to really enjoy their choices and a window / water view request was accomodated.
Lovely service / food and experience.
Although the wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming, the food was disappointing. The winner here, the crab cakes! Pan fried to a golden brown, all crab and no fillers, we should have stopped there.
