Two servers waited out table (one was the host who welcomed us), both warm, personable and helpful. When one of our party ate very slowly, they gave us space.
We were offered our choice of section in the restaurant and got to enjoy the open front window, which was a great choice for the evening.
The menu had many options and everyone found something appealing. Everyone seemed happy with his or her meal.
We have been there many times before and will happily return soon. Great job to those in the kitchen and in the front of the house.
Sat night, every other place nearby was booked. I had been to SU before and liked it.My friend is very fussy. I took a chance. He brought wine as it has a BYOB option. My friend liked it a lot and would return. All good. ThankSU for making me look good.
The food we got was not worth the price. For an appetizer they gave me chicken nuggets and said it was chicken tempura. Terrible.
Quick service, pre set menu was good but could have been a little authentic.
Amazing food with delightful environment
Seafood Unlimited is a hidden gem in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. It is a casual, quaint and beautifully decorated space and service is absolutely incredible.
But the star of course is the food! My fiancé and I enjoyed every morsel; and from the appetizers to dessert there were no disappointments.
So if you want 5 star food without the stuffiness or the hustle and bustle of a large restaurant, Seafood Unlimited should be your choice!
The place is super cute. Service was good. The food, for me it wasn’t flavorful. The Mac and cheese were cold, not cheesy. The shrimp & the steak had no seasoning. I didn’t finish my plate, took it home & didn’t eat it.
The waitress gave outstanding service
The food was amazing and the portions were nice being as though it was restaurant week.
Didn't love this place. The food was ok. The fish was fresh and well prepared. However, there was no presentation, basically a piece of fish on a plate. The server was pleasant but the food service felt rushed. Barely put my fork down from my salad when my entree arrived (it was not a busy night, so why rush us out?)
Good food and atmosphere, we would recommend this restaurant to our fellow family and friends.
Lovely experience, staff was courteous and attentive, I liked that we could bring our own wine, food was delicious! Would definitely go back!
Nice food not the largest portions. Somewhat close to kitchen with regards to seating but otherwise ok
When you want fresh fish, this is the place to go!
The bluefish entree was delicious. The service was great. I think the ambiance of the restaurant could be improved.
Seafood Unlimited is not only one of our favorite restaurants, it's one of the best seafood restaurants we believe on the East Coast!
This is the highest value paired with exceptional quality restaurant in Rittenhouse Square. The service is always impeccable.
Great place nice and cozy good atmosphere food drinks great
Excellent service and great menu for those looking for fresh seafood. Will definitely return.
Friendly staff very accommodating
The food and the service were superb. Definitely will return!!!
Great place to eat lots of Seafood. Really liked it's ambiance and the decorations on the wall that is similar to the Magic Gardens. Really cool!
Food was fantastic. Waiter was very accommodating. My scallops were cooked really well, nice and soft. I didn’t like the sauce it came with. Waiter quickly fixed the problem and brought me out a different sauce.
Only change I would make was the timing issue. I felt our meal was a bit rushed . We were still eating our starters when the main course came out.
Front room has more ambience than the back room. Love the mosaic wall and look of bar.
Must pay on cash. We did not know this till we got to the restaurant. There was a bank machine on site but as it was not my bank machine so I had to pay a fee to withdraw some cash. That would have been useful to know in advance. Did not see this information on there website nor receive this information when I booked the reservation.
Food was great and would highly recommend and would go back again.
Always have a great meal here with terrific service.
Outstanding food -value. Cash only policy is a plus and reflected in VERY reasonable prices. Our server Bill was very attentive. Definitely will return.
One of the best seafood dinners I have had. Very simple and very delicious. I look forward to a return visit.
Excellent wait staff and a nice, quiet atmosphere.
Cold seafood on a Cobb Salad is a perfect dinner for a warm summer evening. They even made it with lobster for me - a little more expensive but well worth it. The dressing was perfect. Another great meal at Seafood Unlimited. And they have a new espresso machine!
Softshell crabs were tasty and plump. Service outstanding. Ambiance calm and relaxing. Good bartender.
Found on Open table near my hotel on a Weekday evening. Surprised there was only one reservation spot since there was literally only ONE other couple in the restaurant.
Shrimp as appetizer was very good! My husband crab cake was delicious but my fish and chips was over cooked.
My biggest issue was they came with the bill and said cash only!!!! I asked where was the sign and they showed me a very small print on the menu and a sign the size of my palm on a window near the door!!! Very upsetting since I’m a govt employee and we use card to pay for food!!!
Food was absolutely wonderful and so was the service
We went to Seafood Unlimited for a date night. It was crazy hot outside and we both wanted seafood without having to get overly dressed up. The casual, artsy vibe of the restaurant was perfect! The other customers seemed to be regulars, even on a first name basis with a lot of the servers. (Always a great sign). Our food and drinks were delicious! The server was incredibly friendly. And our bill came out to be much less than we expected given the quality and volume of food and drinks. We’ll absolutely be back!
Food was excellent ... perfectly cooked and seasoned. Had the mussels, soup, and the combo broiled seafood ... perfect!
Very reasonably priced for Philly.
Great bar ... wall decoration by same artist who did the Magic Gardens.
Will go back again
Our server, Bill F., was outstanding: friendly, helpful and efficient. The kitchen had no problem with my wife's request to take parts of two of the specials to put them together for salmon in marinara sauce. I had the salmon with fresh vegetables and rice. I thought mine was excellent, my wife said "better than average" for hers. For both of us, the fish was cooked exactly as we requested. Excellent onion rings, too. I like this place a lot: very good food a a reasonable price in a convenient location. Recommended, and we'll be back.
A go to seafood restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The food is fresh and creative. Something for everyone, including non seafood lovers. We are never disappointed
The menu is priced just right
The seafood salad was superb. Half a lobster tail and a claw, a dish of backfin crabmeat, three jumbo shrimp, and a side of potato or cole slaw. Delicious.
Once again, we had a lovely meal at Seafood Unlimited. We both took advantage of the lobster dinner special. Perfectly cooked lobster, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts--a nice change from the usual corn and cole slaw.
I ordered the cold combo which consisted of lobster, shrimp and crabmeat. It was delicious and they gave me a nice serving of everything.
My date had the fried trio combo which came with flounder, shrimp and scallops.
His meal was as delicious as mines.
We most definitely will return.
Always very, very good fish and seafood. Fresh, well prepared. Terrific desserts. Can bring own wine even though they have a bar. One of our reliable neighborhood favorites.
Consistent quality, great service and a good value. Having BYOB for wine with a full bar is a big plus.
another perfect meal at my favorite restaurant. The gravlox appetizer was outstanding. Terrific branzino.
