Had an 8:30 reservation. They wouldn’t seat me until my husband arrived, he was parking the car. Several people came in after me and were seated without their whole party. Food was terrible. Ordered tenderloin well done. It was medium rare. Had to send it back twice. I cut it each time and they kept grilling it and pouring more gravy on top. After the second time it was dried out and drenched in gravy. They didn’t even grill me a new. I would not recommend this place. Very disappointed!!
My husband and I thought we were the butt of a practical joke dining here this evening. The restaurant was horrendous at every level. It is next to a nail salon and there is a pervasive odor of nail varnish. The tables were dirty: I had the displeasure of sticking a finger into gum as I tried to steady a tipsy table and my husband put his hand on a sticky mess on his side. It was restaurant week so we were presented with a fixed menu. It was dreadful: the rice ball was without flavor and the wonton was so salty it was inedible. The next course was a stale hummus that had discolored it was left out so long, accompanied by grease soaked cold pita chips, and a grossly over cooked faro in a tasteless supermarket mixed green salad. The main courses were inedible: foul tuna in a bath of soy sauce soaked rice noodles, and gelatinous orchietta with “shrimp.” We got the desserts to go: pumpkin bread pudding and chocolate mouse that we have just binned. And a bottle of Pinot Grigio that could have been put to better use at the nail salon next store to remove the gel finish. HORRIBLE. AVOID.
Had dinner with my mom tonight and the space is super quaint and cute. The food was delicious, we didn’t wait long for any food. It was fresh and hot and super flavorful. Staff was friendly and right on time with everything. I highly recommend this spot.
Excellent food & service. Great restaurant week menu.
Always reliable small restaurant favored by a neighborhood crowd.
We visited Seafood Unlimited on a Friday evening. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was fabulous. I ordered a 3 course fixed price meal of chowder, tuna and tiramisu. All were excellent. My hubby had the chowder and seafood quintet. He raved about his meal also. When in town again, I will definitely return to Seafood Unlimited.
Great food and great service in a cool space!
Pleasant and reliable
Seafood Unlimited food was excellent. Accommodated my husband’s dairy allergy attentively.
My go to place on Mondays! Service is excellent and the drinks are to perfection!
This was my first time at Seafood unlimited and I was thrilled. My friend is a frequent customer.
Good experience. Basic fish with inexpensive app menu. Food was good but not “gourmet”. Good value.
I love the garlic and herb mussels.
The oysters...mussels and fish were amazing! I had the trout and my date the Bronzino and it was absolutely fantastic!
This is a neighborhood favorite for us. The owner, server and bartender were all very attentive at our last dinner there. The food is very fresh, simple and not fussy. This serves a neighborhood crowd and it is a refreshing change from the more touristy dining experiences on Rittenhouse Square.
Really good food and service.
One of my favorite Phila. Seafood spots. , people in the know are wise to this place, very reasonable, nice ,great sevice and they sure know how to prepare fish and seafood.
Very mediocre meal.
Seated promptly. Food was exceptional. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
One of the classic seafood restaurants in Philadelphia, still great decades later.
The food was amazing as always! The price is great and the service was wonderful!
This restaurant is perfect for good friends and good food.
It is festive yet quiet enough to hear.
Won’t be coming back, go to red lobster for a better meal and price. Seafood Unlimited what a joke. When we got there everything was sold out
Entrée was excellent. Appetizers weren't of sufficient size for the cost, so that was a disappointment. Once a waitress approached us (which took a bit too long), the service was quite good.
Discovered this restaurant through Yelp. We were up in Philadelphia for a college football game. Our waiter Bill was wonderful and the food great.
Lots of good restaurants get overlooked because many diners are after the trendy new place. Seafood Unlimited apparently has been around for a while and there's a reason why -- they know what they're doing. The small space is comfortable, the staff is professional and there are plenty of choices for seafood fans, including interesting specials.
Best swordfish! Excellent service. Very enjoyable, pleasant, cozy place to dine with friends.
My experience was good ..nice Friday night ..not many people were there which made the experience even better ..the waitress was great and very accommodating..
My favorite restaurant. Never disappoints. Comfortable spot to relax with friends.
Horrible.... although my waitress was excellent Danielle, the food was horrible! They only offered the restaurant week menu which seemed thrown together and horrible. Quality horrible portion horrible! I was totally unsatisfied. First time there won’t ever go back! It’s called seafood unlimited but the menu was limited to restaurant week trash options!!!!!
We decided to try this place for restaurant week. We could not have been happier. The food was excellent, the space was very nice, and the service was excellent. We will be back!
This was my 3rd time at Seafood Unlimited and it never disappoints. Our waitress was totally awesome.
food was thoughtfully prepared and Oh So fresh !!!. Lots of flavor -- great value
Best tiramisu I have ever eaten. Fritters were better than any homemade.
Would definitely return. Waitress was very helpful
My first time, definitely will not be my last visit. The salsa Verde over Branzino was delish. The pumpkin bread pudding with caramel sauce was divine. I had heard great things, and I was not disappointed.
The food and service was great however the place is very small only has one restroom. I also did not like that it was cash only they do not accept visa when most people do not carry cash. This forced most of the costumers to use there atm machine and the machine was having problems the whole night. I would recommend this place because the food and customer service was great the host and waiter was very nice however be aware of cash only and hopefully in the future they will take cards.
Seafood Unlimited is a very good restaurant. It's a local scene with a lot of value.
Food was great..Our waiter was amazing. The atmosphere was so quite. I would definitely go back.
Very unsatisfied with food. Portions were very little.
Very good. Excellent place to celebrate a Birthday if you are not bringing a large crowd - it's on a small side.
Despite the bar, it's BYOB.
Went for Restaurant week. I had shrimp and beef. Only issue was beef was well done and I ordered medium however flavor and demi glaze was AWESOME!! So it made up for steak being over cooked. If it was medium I would have given 5 stars. The ambience was great! The bar area great too. I will go back for their happy hour!! Seating is a bit tight so you need to not mind “close quarters”
