We had family visiting from out of town. They loved the restaurant and the food was great.
Service was excellent as well.
Great brunch spot, and although dated, caeser salad was perfect, and lobster lovers have found a home. Service was great.
Best Lobster Rolls in Marin County...yum! Our go-to spot for them....also have great lobsters for dinner at good price several days/week.
Family day out to enjoy the warm Bay Area weather.
Excellent service and food. Live to have dinner here when we're in the area.
Appreciate the lobster special days. Gave us a good opportunity to treat a friend for a special reason to celebrate some success she had.
Neither of us had been and we were so pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view from its windows, the pleasant and attentive staff, and above all, the quality of the Peddler's seafood. My companion, who grew up eating seafood in San Francisco, loved it. So did I. I would return in a heartbeat, and recommend it without hesitation.
Outstanding! Great food, great place! I will definitely dine here again.
The food is very good. I wouldn't call it "fine dining" since the service and ambiance are casual/not very sophisticated. Still it's a good place for well-cooked and seasoned seafood.
I opted for the 3 lobster tails. Delicious! My friend had the entire lobster and was thrilled. Good meal!!
I have been to Seafood Peddler several times and was pleased with the food and service on each occasion. For that reason, I came back with a friend and it continues to be a favorite place to go when I come to Sausalito. Good food, service and ambiance!
The best seafood in Marin
Great food. Great prices. Great service. Ambiance was terrific for a couple from Wisconsin!
Steak was raw raw 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch. 2 1 inch x 2 inch twin lobster tails rubbery. Tiny Tiny cup of drawn butter. Side dishes served 8 min. After main course for my wife. Really bad food small portions for top dollar.
We have been going to the Seafood Peddler since it was in San Rafael before they moved to Sausalito. The old place was better. In this case we went because it was my wive's birthday, she loves lobster, and they are one of the few places close by that have fresh lobster. Four of us had a nice dinner, but frankly I find the place over priced. Our entrees were delivered on very hot plates before earlier dishes were removed, creating something of a awkward situation. My wife ordered a whole lobster and when she asked for help "disassembling" it the waiter basically was unwilling. Not a bad place, but just not a place worth going out of your way to go to....unless you really want fresh lobster.
The food, especially seafood, is well prepared and delicious. Some of the veggies are a bit overcooked. However, the quality of the food, and the generous portions are winners. It is a place with indoor and outdoor dining. From the upstairs areas, the views toward the east are impressive. Highly recommend this for a romantic dinner. By the way, our waiter, Genaro, was outstanding. We would return just to have him wait on us.
Lovely brunch. Sunny. Great views to the marina. Food was good. They took excellent care of my dietary requirements and adjusted my meal to be deliciously gluten-free, casein (dairy) free and soy free.
New Year's Eve dinner was excellent as expected. Ambience, service and food all excellent!
Food excellent as usual and perfect service.
Restaurant said we did not have reservation. Luckily they were able to seat us. The food was average. Creme brulee was soaked in rum and inedible. The server was very nice. Not the New Years Eve dinner we were hoping for.
Very efficient good quality, over busy with the holidays
The four of us all had a different meal and all rated their meals excellent. The restaurant has a good feel to it and I have never been disappointed.
I love the wood decor along with the ambience. It was great for our third wedding anniversary. The service was exceptional, drinks were substantial, food was yummy, more toward comfort food than haute cuisine but the fish was fresh and well prepared.
have eaten here several times. Overall very good. However, this time both my wife's and my entrees were pretty salty. I have ordered similar dishes in the past and they were fine. Maybe they had a different cook?? Next time, I may have to specifically request low salt with my order. I definitely will eat here again
This is an expensive restaurant..................... The waitress was very nice and friendly.
This is one of my favorite go to restaurants. The seafood is always fresh, the service good and friendly and it's a great view.
One of our favorite fish places in Sausalito -- great bread, lobster bisque soup, and filet of sole piccata. Great view over the harbor boats!
Consistently good. Always love the lobster, Caesar salad is a must. The sole piccata is almost as good as mine.
Wonderful fresh steamed cracked Half Moon Bay crab, mixed seafood grill and Macadamia crusted sole and wedge salads. The apple crisp (we shared) was terrific too. A few of the sailboats in the Marina outside are beginning to decorate with Christmas lights. Beautiful, clear and quiet night for a respite after Thanksgiving.
We went to Seafood Peddler because it was one of the few local restaurants open on Thanksgiving. Instead of the standard Thanksgiving fare, we opted for the regular menu and were very satisfied with the petrale sole picatta. We started with gin & tonic cocktails with oysters and followed with a glass of sauvignon blanc with the meal. We chose key lime tart for dessert. Although very busy, we were seated quite quickly and our waiter was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a good view of the water and is very pretty at night. We found parking quite easily, but I'm not sure if is by permit only or for anyone after 6pm. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.
