We take out of town guests several times a year. Great food as always. Our guest picked up the check, and had a question on the kids charge (the 2 and 3 year old split a chicken fingers, we were charged for toddler meal $10 and kids buffet $37). The manager (Georgette? Georgia?) came over and instead of being helpful was very rude and condescending. It was odd and embarrassing. I get it’s a busy with a lot of out of town guests, but still not ok to be rude. We were willing to pay it all, just a huge turn off and probably will re think our options in the future.
Worth every penny.
We loved our servers but the guys who were serving the prime rib were not so nice
Our original reservation was for 5 people but the waiter quickly accommodated our 2 extra guests. There was a wide variety of seafood and everything was very fresh. They had beautiful vegetarian offerings as well. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The chefs put much thought into the food and made the flavors exciting.
Very good food. Appetizers could be better. Poke, crab, and fish are amazing
Special occasion—Valentine’s Day, so we went to a special place. Enjoyed the dinner very much including the interactions with our server.
Week nights are definitely the time to go to the Seafood Buffet. No lines at any food station and extremely attentive waitstaff. In particular, Carol (from Chile) was fantastic! Highlights are always the oysters, crab legs, and poke, simpler dishes that let the natural flavors shine!
Always decent- a renovation is overdue
Favorite during our annual trip to park city. Love the harpist, the food and the total experience.
This is a wonderful seafood buffet! I highly recommend it.
Amazing dinner ! Best meal at ParkCity/ Dear Valley ! All six of us can’t wait to come back next year on our annual ski vacation.
All food stations were delicious.
A little bit of everything. Lots of fun. We go every time we’re in town
The quality and variety of the food is excellent. Friendly and competent service.
Great seafood buffet. Excellent service. Harp player was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Great variety of fresh seafood including the excellent Washington State creamy oyster. The Poke was amazing. Desserts were yummy. All good!
The best items at this seafood buffet were the desserts...
Third time at the buffet and it never ceases to disappoint. If you don’t like what is on the buffet (which is close to impossible unless you are vegan, you can order anything a la Carte and they will make sure you get it, even off menu. Few places combine classy selection of food with premier service. Tough to beat, if at all.
28th anniversary ! Service could not have better food choices as well as the quality preparations and ingredients.
Thank you sincerely for a great non rushed night!!
There was a harp for the holidays so pretty
Expensive, but every item has thought and care behind it. Oysters, crab, salads,
We try to dine at the Buffet once a year. It is only open during the ski season and this we their last night this season. The oysters, of which they had two varieties were excellent. There are always the large peel and eat shrimp in addition to the two in the shell crab choices from the cold seafood table. There are innovative appetizers such as the two different flavors of pork ribs or their non-traditional clam chowder which was excellent. There is usually prime rib which is done to perfection and hot seafood which is always different. The only entree that was not up to snuff was the lobster ravioli. The wait staff is very attentive and always refreshing your utensils and clearing used plates. The choices for dessert are extensive and you need to leave room. This is not an inexpensive event but with the harp music and quality of the food it is worth a once a year splurge.
Our waitress was not attentive. Very unusual. Messed up the checks at the end of the evening as well. I'd give her a 3.
Always good, we are locals and try to go once a year. It is always a treat for us. The food is unbelievable, the choice is overwhelming, the service and the people are the best.
Second time at the seafood buffet and was as good, maybe better than the first. This is a must visit for anyone in the park city area who enjoys a high quality ingredients and doesn't mind paying for them. Oddly enough the best dishes were the Korean spare ribs followed closely by the king salmon and tuna poke. There are so many dishes to try and enjoy that you will not make it through them with one visit. Highly recommend.
This is my second time to the Deer Valley Seafood Buffet but 14 years between visits only because I haven't been to Park City during that time. I loved it then and I loved it this time. We spent almost 2 hours eating slowly and doing our best to taste some of everything. There were multiple salads, multiple cheeses, shrimp cocktail, and smoked salmon as starters. There were many choices of fish to eat, roast beef, desserts, and other seafood dishes. Everything was great. Our waiter and his assistant were awesome and though it was dark, I had a seat facing the mountain looking out a window with it snowing...gorgeous. I highly recommend it!!
We reserved a table at 8:30 and by 8:35 they had stable ready for us. This is our 3rd time coming here whenever we're skiing. It's more like a tradition that we have to eat here when we're at park city. Service was excellent, we had John like the last time and he remembered us. The oysters were fresh but not as good tasting as before. It's more briney and chalky. The lobster roll was a hit as well as the ahi poke. The prime rib was tender as usual and rightly done. The dessert selection was mind boggling. Definitely be back here next ski season!
Great food and nice ambiance
Tiffany was great. Best meal
Ever. Great selection. High quality. Waitress knew food. Loved it.
