Just an all round disappointment.
Just avoid this place, awful experience, terribly overpriced, the worst salad bar I have experienced, unexceptional food
This Buffett has significantly decreased in quality and value. Most of the cold crab legs - had little to no meat in them. The food that was suppose to be served warm was cold. The butter for the crab legs wasnt even heated - it was cold. We’ve been multiple times in the past - but wouldn’t consider it in the future.
Awesome spread and variety. Very special
Fresh and delicious. Fun to watch the world championships right outside the restaurant windows. Highly recommend
The lobster tail upsell was annoying. We are already paying through the teeth for dinner. The desserts were much smaller than years past. The crab legs were also quite small. However, some of the flavor profiles were new and exciting especially the smoked duck breast with fermented garlic honey and the masala fried fish. The oysters were very flavorful and tender. The smoked salmon was really quite good.
We've been dining annually at Seafood Buffet for the past 25 years and this year was by far one of the very best experiences we had yet! Everything was absolutely delicious, cocktails were perfect, and our service was excellent. We highly recommend Deer Valley's Seafood Buffet!
Everytime we come to Deer Valley, the buffet is not to be missed. But come hungry. Incredible food and something for everyone.
Just try it, it's amazing! The poke is great, the crab is great. Go early and stay for awhile!
Food was good. Nothing spectacular coming from the East Coast but a decent seafood option in Utah.
We loved our server, Shelly. She made the whole experience fun and lovely! Food was great.
Vacationing, quick ski trip to Park City. The buffet was perfect timing for our last night outing.
As always, the food at the Seafood Buffet was fabulous. There was a wide variety of tasting experiences, including vegetarian and meat choices. The presentation was great and the atmosphere was a relaxed and wonderful ambiance. Our server , who we have had before, was not the greatest in terms of friendliness and promptness. Thank goodness it was a buffet. It took two requests to get a cup of plain coffee at the end of the evening.
We had am excellent waitress Tiffany and the other wait staff were fantastic. We never had an empty water glass. The chefs were great with my allergy too. And, the harpist was wonderful!
For how expensive this is you are much better off going to a seafood restaurant and ordering food cooked to order. Crab legs are over cooked and served cold, shrimp are cold, in shells and not cleaned, oysters were ok.
Crab legs were our main draw and they were water logged. Drawn butter was oddly thin. Oysters were big and beautiful but we prefer smaller oysters. Dessert bar was stellar though, extremely creative and tasty.
Quite disappointing. Over the years quality going down as price goes up
Food was awesome as usual
All around great dinner! We were seated next to the fireplace and treated to wonderful service. Guest chefs from Nobu were cutting up and preparing fresh sushi for everyone.
We dine at Seafood Buffet at least once each ski season, often with family. We particularly like the cold appetizers, which include sushi, crabs, shrimp, herrings among other delicacies. This year, all diners were invited to view the carving of a massive, fresh tuna and to enjoy the result: beautifully prepared sushi dishes. It was a highlight of the buffet we hope to see in the future.
We were incredibly fortunate to go to the Seafood Buffet for the first time the day they had a visiting chef from Nobu in Vegas. He and his team prepared a 120 pound tuna in front of all of us. Amazing evening!
3rd time to the Seafood Buffet and it did not disappoint. Excellent selection, high quality great tasting seafood and very friendly staff.
wish they had more seafood variety. Didn't see any scallop and lobster.
We have been coming here every winter for many years and I love the items you get each time that are the same and then the new options for variety. Service was awesome. Be sure and save room for dessert!
Freshest seafood in town. Great place to go with a large group of friends. All of the food is excellent.
Have been going to Deer Valley since I was in my twenties. My husband and I almost bout a place in Lower Deer Valley that one of Mrs. Filwd’s units. This time I came with my 21 yr old son and wa highly disappointed. A scarce selection of choices. Small servings of what was offered, and unfriendly service from a burned out staff. This was not my memory. A shame. Mediocrity was the order of the day with the hope a mound of crab legs would shock and awe. I wil not return and cannot rexommend it. A big thumbs down.
Fabulous ! We go every year while on our ski vacation. Always wonderful.
Have been going to Seafood Buffet for our anniversary for 25 years! Very creative and delicious hot fish items. Fantastic oysters, King Crab, and Sable fish. Almost everything there is quite excellent each time. This is the first time that the shrimp was a bit soft, as if not quite fresh. Love that the desserts are smaller now. Enables us to try more variety. Thank you! Many staff carried over with new ownership, which was a good decision. Server, Tiffany, is SO fun and attentive to all detail. Table kept clean of all empty plates and refreshed with new utensils, moist and dry napkins, water, wine, etc., quickly and unobtrusively by all Buffet staff. Always a pleasure. Will continue the tradition as long as we're still able to drive!
The buffet has really gone downhill. The oysters were all gigantic, only half the hot options were even edible, and the crab was extremely salty and too soft to crack. Our table was not cleared in a timely manner so we had consistently had dirty plates on the table. The buffet room seemed old and tired.
The desserts were excellent, but that’s not really why we go to the seafood buffet.
Everything about our experience at Deer Valley was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back.
The experience was great, great presentation of multiple food items, but really just average taste, was way too expensive for what we ate.
The harpist and food was amazing
Excellent experience. Food was amazing as well as the service
We always do dinner here for our wedding anniversary. Never left disappointed or unsatisfied. Great variety and we'll prepared.
The food was delicious. The staff was wonderful.
Wonderful and never disappoints.
We came to the buffet years ago. It was great then, and it is even better now. What a wonderful night. It is definitely a special meal.
If we are in Park City during winter time, we come to the seafood buffet. Always delicious, great variety and everything fresh. Do not miss it!
Wonderful! Freshest seafood ever! Quality was outstanding!
