SEA180° - a coastal tavern, brings contemporary beachfront dining to one of San Diego’s most distinctive locales. With sweeping “180 degree” views of the Coronado Islands, South Bay and Mexico, the name SEA180° was coined from the expansive ocean views visible from every corner of the establishment and is just steps from the stunning Imperial Beach sand. Located on the ground level of Pier South Resort, named for the nearby Imperial Beach pier, SEA180° provides one of the few dining options in San Diego that is truly oceanfront.
Reservations are for indoor tables only, we are not accepting reservations for patio dining.

My Mother in laws 90th, honestly couldn’t picked a better location.
All around it was 10 stars, I rarely leave comments, they deserve it.

Thank you

My husband and I first time there.
Our Waiter, Jason, was excellent. He was very engaging, full of energy. Pro-active with Offering a blanket, because we sat outside. I didn’t have to asked.

They have an awesome selection for their birthday breakfast. It was $89 for two adults and two children under 10. We didn’t see our server a lot and we’re fussed at a little bit because we got up and found him to get the check. We waited for a pretty long time. The people who sat next to us who came in a while after us and left way before us. When I asked for the check he said, “I’ll bring to you at your table”. We were all four standing in front of him. I said, “well just meet you at the front”. He kind of snapped at me and said they don’t do it that way there that the guests pay the tickets directly to the servers-as if it was my first time in a restaurant. I’m 50! And we told him we’d been there before. I just smiled and said sorry, but the kids had been done eating for a while and when kids get bored they start making messes”.
But otherwise, their Sunday buffers are really great. I love the waffles.
We sat right by the beach And the lifeguards drove by the glass just a couple feet away from the kids and waved at them more than once.
We can’t wait to go back!

It was a wonderful evening listening to the ocean waves while enjoying great drinks and wonderful food. They give you a blanket to be comfortable outside alone with heaters. You can also choose to sit inside where the ambiance seemed very nice.

We have been to SEA180 several times. The food is always good. Our visit the other evening was not so great.
There were 3 in our party. Food was delivered to me and my husband, not to our guest. We were told her meal would be right out. Five minutes past and she still didn't have the food. The waiter finally brought her clam chowder to hold her over until her dinner was ready. He blamed the delay on the "salmon" cook. In the meantime, our food was getting cold so we started eating. Hindsight, I should have sent our food back and told the waiter to bring it all together and be sure it is hot. Very disappointing.

Excellent wait staff. Treated us like royalty. Weather cooperated and beautiful sunset. My only complaint is - why serve a peach margarita in a martini glass? I want margarita size. TY

While the view and sunset were spectacular, the food and service is second to none. Our waiter, Jason, is one in a million and all of the managers can't be more friendly. This place, ALWAYS, makes everyone feel like family.

The Margarita my wife had was too sweet. The fish and chips was not tasty because of the batter was so much different than most. It was not the best birthday lunch for my wife. We have been to sea180 degrees before and were happy so we were very disappointed this time.

We love the location! Our food server, Fernando was so friendly and helpful! It seemed to take a while for our drinks, appetizers, etc but overall with the beautiful view it was worth it! The crab cake appetizer was yummy but a little pricey for the 2 small cakes. Overall so good but with the extra tax a little high. We do love this place and will be back!

I was very disappointed. I surprised my wife for our 35th wedding anniversary expecting to have lobster meals for both of us and you guys were out of lobster. Settled for the shrimp scampi and fish and chips not exactly the Romantic meal I had wanted.

Fried calamari was way over cooked and scallops were overdone. Disappointing for how much we paid and for a “seafood” restaurant. Also heard the server complaining to a table that another table said she was bad at her job; pretty tacky.

Pros
- Hostess was very accommodating proving space heaters and blankets
- View can not be beat
- Food is delicious!

Cons
- Service. Our waiter disappeared after taking our order. We had to track down other servers to get our drinks refilled and take our dessert order.

I ordered from the restaurant week menu 3 courses for $30 which was a good deal. Ceviche appetizer was great, local fish ( swordfish with beurre Blanc sauce) was prepared perfectly! Dessert was chocolate chip cookie with ice cream- also delicious. My husband has the Mole duck which he liked very much we sat outside and enjoyed watching the sun set! Beautiful! We have been here previously and ordered off the “date night” menu - food selections not as good as off the regular menu. This chef can cook!!

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Thank you SD Restaurant Week for introducing us to an amazing restaurant! The view is magnificent, right on the beach- we chose the outdoor seating and it was just perfect. I chose the fish and chips, and my husband had the Buddha Bowl. Both of our entrees were delicious. The desserts were, too - but we were so full we bought them home in a box. :) When our server found out it was our first visit, he lit up and told us all about their menu, the food style they are trying to create, and highlighted popular choices on the menu. Every person on their staff both at the hotel they are connected to and the restaurant were friendly and helpful. A great experience!

We live in San Diego and SEA180 has become our "go to" place for special occasions. Wonderful seaside dining. Delicious food and attentive service. We nearly always go for lunch (once for brunch - never dinner). I wish they could offer somewhat more gluten free options. Their burgers are out of this world but I have to order them without a bun. They used to have a delicious GF chocolate dessert but it seems to be off the menu. For some reason their Brussels sprouts are not gluten free but surely it would not be hard to make them so. Otherwise I love it. A bit pricey but worth it. And, oh, did I mention the view???

My family and friends have visited this place many times with our kids, and it was a fantastic plan, because children could enjoy the beach, and adults the food, drinks and fantastic view. However, on this occasion, the hotel manager, as well as the restaurant manager, didn’t let our kids come in from the beach through the door next to it, because that door was for the hotel’s guests only... they told us that our kids should enter and exit the restaurant through the main entrance. The restaurant manager was kind of rude... However, food was good, and our server saved the day, he was great! Just don’t bring children, and you’ll be fine.

Super!!’ One of the reasons we went there for our anniversary. Food was brought quickly and was good although not gourmet ( which we did not expect). Went on Tuesday “date night” which is a very good deal!

The food is not as good as it use to be. They either got a new chef or they are not putting enough effort into there meal prep. With all the competition they need to step it up. I have been there about 5 times and I may not be back.
Sorry
