SeaVenture Restaurant located on the beach in California's Central Coast wine country, the third floor Restaurant allows you to take in breathtaking sunsets and panoramic beach and ocean views from large picture windows and outdoor decks. Chef Casey Walcott's contemporary coastal cuisine is inspired by the surrounding local wine country. Our seasonal menu is prepared with locally farmed vegetables, premium pork and beef and the highest quality fish and seafood. All desserts are made in house from scratch.

The SeaVenture Restaurant provides full service catering and space for 20-200 guests. Each space provides floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and windows for sweeping views of the Pacific. Our private and semi private banquet rooms offer intimate areas for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, brunches, baby showers and more. We also host meetings, corporate events, workshops and seminars in a location sure to refresh your staff or impress your clients. SeaVenture staff will work personally with you to create the custom event you envision.

Sea Venture use to be a beautiful restaurant and hotel however the owners have let it get old and worn. it has an outstanding view and should have everything to go with it, but alas it does not. Breakfast food is good but not excellent, well presented. Service staff good.
Everything about the restaurant needs cleaning and updated. Restrooms smell, fishtank is dirty and scratched.

Sorry guys, but your losing us for now, there are just to many really good places to go.

Filet Was amazing! My fiancee and I split everything and it was fantastic! We also tried the Mahi Mahi special, which was also good but we both agreed the steak was the best! Scallop app was also amazing! Service was exceptional, efficient, professional, and very attentive! The view is unbeatable and we will be back! Bueatiful property and five star food to match it!

It was my husband and my first visit to Sea Venture. We went on a Wednesday evening. Our friends who went with us had been there before quite awhile ago. The service was good, but there were no specials and the main entrée did not have any side dishes with it. I ordered the salmon steak and that's all I got. The salmon was pretty bland, so I was disappointed.

They also had live music that was so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation.

Holiday selections ok, and inventive, but my husband’s prime rib was ordered medium rare and came out well done. My selection was a play on eggs Benedict, but was unnecessarily weird (cornmeal waffles?!) The prosciutto salad was likewise interesting, but the prosciutto was fried like bacon and over powered the rest of the salad. The desserts were just plain awful! Not even one glass of champagne included for Mother’s Day?

The only problem I had was that the special Mother’s Day menu had prices of $40 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Two children were in our party. At the end of the meal we were charged $40 for their (kid’s) meal (which they could not finish). When I inquired about the price I received an apology and was told by the server that they received adult portions so 🤷🏻‍♂️. I did not pursue the issue but it would have been nice if the restaurant had been up front or inquired/explained there was a kid’s menu. That has been the only negative we have ever experienced there so I guess we will chalk it up to a one time error.

We started off with drinks and a fabulous view of the ocean and then a beautiful sunset. For dinner we had the couples steak and lobster. Not gigantic portions but cooked to perfection and delicious. We also split a salad. With a nice Pinot noir we skipped desert and finished off our wine with relaxed conversation.

This was a special day with my twin daughters. They shared so much with their Mama... maybe more than I needed to hear, but glad they felt comfortable and I was certainly a good ear! So glad for the incredible wines! That certainly was a plus. It's a special place we've been going too since they were toddlers. Thanks so much to the staff who knows us, caters to us, welcomes us back year after year.

We loved the food, it was excellent!! We sat outside and it was beautiful. It was dark outside, but the outside lights were lovely. Service was awesome from the hostess to the exiting and all in between!

we had the fish special , Halibut- it was outstanding , Beautiful presentation and an unique delicious recipe. The kale salad with roasted brussels sprouts it was fabulous

we had a lovely sunset view and the experience from start to finish was great... our server was attentive and helpful

It was happy hour and we were there for dinner, party of 4, and wanted to have drinks at the happy hour price. We were told they are only available at the bar by what I think was the manager. The waiter seemed willing to give us drinks at the happy hour price at our table but the manager said he couldn't do that. But it was alright if I went to the bar and purchased our drinks and brought them to our table. So that's what I did - it's not like we're were booze hounds - we just had two glasses of wine. Dumb policy and unreasonable manager.

We had the fixed price Easter brunch. One of us had prime rib, which was a generous serving. The other had the sea bass, which was in chunks over black rice with a flavorful sauce. One of us had clam chowder and the other had deviled eggs as a first course. Dessert was chocolate mousse, cheesecake and lemon bar in surprisingly large portions for a sampler plate. Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. Our mimosas were about twice as big as elsewhere with generous amounts of champagne. We had a table by the window overlooking the beach—always a bonus. The menu, the view and the service all added up to a delightful holiday experience.

Both of us had the Prime Rib for Easter Brunch and the food was delicious. The service was great and we had a great view of the beach and the Pier too. Definitely worth to do the reservation and to go back to try out other menus.

Easter brunch! was wonderful - something for everyone; but each dish was delicious, and looked like thought had gone into the presentation. Our waiter Matt was right on top of things, and made us feel very comfortable. My only disappointment was the Spicy Bloody Mary I ordered was NOT spicy, and was kinda weak. My friends enjoyed the generous champagne pours in the mimosas, however.

As always the food was outstanding. The service matched the food as the different courses were delivered in a timely manner and the the food arrived to the entire table at the same time. Our waiter explained the evening specials which we ordered and the food matched his description.

Usually love having dinner at Sea Venture. Our favorite thing to do is get a seat at the bar and partake in the delicious small plates made by Craig. This time we were bringing my parents for dinner so we got a table in the dining room. Food was pretty good. Service was great. Note to self - do not order the fried chicken! My husband decided to order it because he was curious - it was maybe a few notches above cafeteria food. Very sad. (Do treat yourself to the fried chicken and waffles at Spoon Trade if you like fried chicken!) Mom and I had the warm shrimp chopped salad and it was very good. Clam chowder was excellent. Dad had a dish with lobster that was very good as well. There were a couple of ladies seated near us and they were VERY loud. I know this is not the restaurants fault, but it made it very difficult for my parents to hear and for us to have a conversation.

All said, we will continue our tradition of sitting at the bar for small bites and very good drinks.

My wife and I stay at the Seaventure Hotel for about a week every year. We always dine at their restaurant at least once during our stay. This time, because it was raining, we dined twice. I made a point of thanking the long-time manager for their menu that clearly delineated gluten-free options (I have celiac disease and gluten is poison to me) and other restrictive diet selections. My wife can eat anything and had the most marvelous filet mignon. I had a seaventure Bouillabaisse type of sea stew that was phenomenal—both nights. Service was prompt, courteous and professional. Thank you!

Have been here numerous times. It was always good It has become much improved if that's possible?
Kacee our server was very good. Obviously well trained as wait person. Extremely personable and efficient. Never looked or made u feel rushed even though restaurant was packed.

Our dinner was delicious. The best prime rib I had tasted in quite a while. It was our 20th anniversary and it was very quiet and romantic. We chose a booth and it was very relaxing and comfortable. We will be returning very soon.

We love this restaurant and have had great eating experiences in past, however we both chose beef. My prime rib was nearly cold, so I sent back. After waiting 10 minutes (and my husband well over half way with his meal), the meat was still not hot. The fresh vegetables were a bit too under done as well. I suggest they serve their food on hot plates ( which I thought they did), but I believe they were just really busy and not paying attention to those details from the kitchen. The server, Chris, was very good and compt us on a glass of wine.

As good as it gets on the central coast. The view and ambience are spectacular. Service is provided by a wonderful group of young, friendly and professional staff. Food is very good to excellent. Very nice variety of brunch items, well prepared and served hot. We've tried several restaurants for our Sunday morning brunch and keep coming back to the Sea Venture for the overall excellence of the experience.

A stormy night, early dinner and relaxed dinner, with Chris as our server, taking it slow and easy! enjoyed our food choices, usually try different things and not to be disappionted.
cant resist the bread to start, so didnt opt for dessert!
thanx we'll be back and might evn try the patio one day ??

3 people ordered Appy's, they were served several minutes apart so the first person sat for at least 5 minutes waiting?
Bus boy did not know what Happy Hour was and suggested we check with waiter
why would staff not know? Poor training?
Food was ok but not great
