This is my second time at Sea Venture and the food was just as delicious as the first time. I ate there with my 95 year old grandma and we even had the same server as before. Chris, our server did an awesome job explaining the entrees of the evening. He was attentive to us and the service was 5 star. All the other wait staff were excellent as well.
I had the Vol-En-Vent and it was delicious and my grandma had the pork chop and she said it was perfectly cooked.
The noise level is a little loud especially when your grandma is hard of hearing, but it wasn’t terrible and we ate early just for that reason.
It is a fantastic place to eat especially when there is a nice sunset.
Shane was very helpful and attentive. Food was great as usual!
The food was amazing and the views spectacular. Our waiter was very nice, but seemed rehearsed and often absent when needed. The bus boys and manager however were very warm and attentive. The only drawback was the old musky elevator in order to reach the restaurant. I know it’s an older building, but the smell in there is God awful and kills your appetite. Fortunately the chef made up for it ten fold.
Great place to eat. Waitress was super friendly and tolerant of our excited party and infant. Awesome view. Highly recommend the lasagna and the filet.
We visited Sea Venture to celebrate our anniversary! Our awesome server, Chandler, was super friendly and gave great recommendations ...the seared scallops were AMAZING! Get them! And the creme brûlée was the perfect finishing touch. We will definitely return.
Fine dining with a panoramic beachside view. Wine list represents the Central Coast region and is reasonably priced.
This unassuming dining room atop SeaVenture Resort has a spectacular view and an amazing wine list featuring local wines. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.
The food was good except the appetizer was overcooked. The food was served warm not hot and the bread was served after we were done eating. The service was terrible. When we asked another waitress for help she refused. Very disappointing as this restaurant use to be one of our favorites.
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was yummy and the service even better
Sea Venture has a stunning location. Their service is excellent. We had Athena this time and she was delightful. We have had many excellent meals here. Unfortunately, the nightly special of prime rib arrived overcooked and only warm. So I was disappointed for the first time. We still had an enjoyable evening. We will return, however.
Consistently wonderful dining experience. Food, service and view are hard to beat.
Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and good food at a surprisingly reasonable price
Food was decent, but not amazing. View was great, but windows were half closed due to sun. Service was a bit on the slow side.
We were celebrating my birthday and Chris was our server. Chris was very helpful and a great sense of humor. My girlfriend is a vegan and Chris was very in formative with certain foods that could be prepared for her. My steak was a bit overcooked but tender. Overall a great experience. Thank you for a great evening. Rodney and Trisha
Server was friendly but we had to ask twice for water and got it at the end of the meal. Salmon was dry and cold. We waited a long time for the food to arrive. Beautiful view but the windows were really dirty. This place needs to step it up. We are locals and it’s seen better times.
We didn't realize that we were "sitting in the wrong spot" (a booth) for a Thursday night Happy Hour. Really, SeaVenture should give/publicize more directives on this if they actually want to enforce weird rules. However, our waiter Chris, was great, and when I pointed out (after receiving our bill) that we had ordered 3 appys, and that we should be only charged for 2 on the HH menu, he immediately changed it for us. We love SeaVenture, but sometimes the "rules" have gotten in our way.
Food was fine but pricey. Vol-au-vent and seared scallops were yummy. Decor is very 80’s , and service was extremely slow.
Staff was awesome and informational and quick! Food was excellent!
Great views of the beach and pier. Food was very good. Doesn't have a huge menu (which is good) but between small plates, entrees and appetizers there was something for everyone. Drinks were very good. There is a happy hour from 4-6pm which is a real bargain. Décor is a little dated but food and drink make up for it.
Food was below average for the price, my meal was Lukewarm just not happy with the meal. Service was good
The food, service, and view here are amazing... but the way it’s laid out with the bar right by the dining room and one loud talker in the bar can ruin it. The bar was so loud we had a hard time hearing our waiter.
Seafood dishes were great. My husband's fillet was a bit overcooked and boring. Service and ambiance is always good! Creme brulee was fabulous.
This was our first visit to the location and we were very impressed. The view was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the restaurant was very well decorated and clean. The service was just OK. Our waitress seemed to be handling many many tables at once, and the restaurant was full. They could have used more help as we waited quite awhile for refills, the check, etc.
Our first time there and we loved it, food was amazing, service was excellent and environment was amazing
Wonderful views of the beach and great sunsets. The menu has tasty small plates as well as a great thick filet. A little retro but great service and a solid bar.
Reservation by Trip Advisor was very effective. Excelent service and very good food. An incredible see o the sea from our table. The atmosphere was very mature people.
View was perfect to watch the sunset. The atmosphere was perfect, very nice but not over the top. Service was very good, attentive but not rushed and the food was very good.
Limited menu, but versatile. Everything perfect for 49th anniversary. Waiter/service excellent and the food was outstanding. Great ocean view. We both had he filet mignon.......it was cooked perfectly as ordered. Highly recommend.
Scallops were a little sandy. A group with a young baby was seated right next to us and the baby cried and screamed all dinner long. There was a whole empty room to put them in, but no...right next to us.
Bread and butter were served finally after we asked. It wasn't offered. Not up to standard for a place serving $30 a plate meals.
Had the couple meal-small filet and some lobster. Was not a filet and was over cooked- I think it was sirloin. Lobster was dry. Ordered a margarita- so weak it had no flavor. Won’t go back.
The band was too loud, and it bled over into the restaurant area - made it hard to talk
Perfect dining experience for my husbands birthday.
Geat ambiance and service. The salmon was overcooked and dry so meal was disappointing and expensive
We were there to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and Everything was excellent!
Great ocean view. Wonderful staff. Filet a bit over cooked but flavorful.
Came to listen to some music and have something to eat! Very good food and service!
We found this restaurant with outdated decor; attracts older crowd; nice view.
Great food and service! Chris and Konnor were exceptional in providing us wonderful service. Views are amazing as was the food. I had the salmon - done to perfection.
The food was very good and the views are great. However, they need to work on service. Despite having a reservation, it took at least 15 minutes to be seated (this was due, in part, to no one even being at the front reception desk for several minutes at a time). Our server was pleasant, but did not know much about the food or anything about wine service (no tasting before full pours, spilled our sparkling wine, etc.). Also, they could really work on presentation of the dishes - while the food was cooked well and tasted great, they way it was presented belied the taste.
