Another great evening...Sea House never fails to impress.
Best dinner we had on the island. Our waitress Charlene made our night. She is the reason the evening was so perfect. Recommended the best entree and was a delight to meet
We drove a long, long way for dinner, and it did not disappoint! Excellent food (my husband had the fish of the day, served sautéed, and kept saying it might be the best thing he’s ever eaten!), attentive and helpful service, and fun vibe. I asked to have a few coconut shrimp added to my entree and I can HIGHLY recommend asking for that! Great wine selection, too. If you stay for the dessert, thankfully there’s a nice little beach on which to wallow while it digests.
Always delicious with great service. This was our fourth time and the food is always consistently delicious.
We were so impressed! The fish what's so fresh and cooked to perfection friendly and knowledgeable staff we also had breakfast there and it was yummy you must go and try our server Vladimir for dinner was excellent and saw for breakfast was so nice and helpful with the menu our first time here it is the best calm relaxing on a unobstructed view you must stay at Pune Point suites... our first time here in Maui I would definitely come back again!
Views of Napili Bay are amazing and the food was very good. Great prices considering the location.
I like crisp veggies but want more than parboiled. My "seared" Macadamian nut crusted Ahi looked more like it had been steamed. And the crust was sweet which I was not expecting. I loved the specialty bar drinks, well made and not too sweet! In the Cioppino the Ahi was difficult to cut, slightly rubbery. The high praise this restaurant gets may be because we were there on an off night or a more captive audience!
Its a little hard to find the restaurant but one you are there you have a beautiful view of Kapalua Bay. the food is very good and they offer specials every night. Early bird before 6PM. We had the fish special and the flourless cake.
Excellent meal in a beautiful setting. Great choice of Hawaiian appetizers such as poke nachos and nicely prepared Hawaiian fish entrees. Service was great as well.
Gorgeous setting, quality ingredients, a perfect place for lunch or sunset dinner.
Enjoyed the early bird specials. Our server was great. Location on beach is nice if you can get a window table.
View was beautiful, great ambiance, superb food.
The waiter was a little odd acting, he fhought he was funny, but he was actually annoying and not real attentive.
But the place was great.
Friendly service and the food & atmosphere was great.
Getting a seaside table is difficult and the wine prices are too expensive and not too much vsrietyand is not great. Expensive for what you get
We dine at Sea House 3 or 4 times every time we come to Maui. We love the Napili Bay setting and the food is usually excellent. Normally the wait service is good but as with many restaurants this trip, service was very slow and not very attentive. We will always come back, though!!
Excellent! Best place to eat and watch the sun go down. The servers were a little confused about who ordered what and only bought us one pineapple tiramisu. We highly recommended this restaurant. The white fish, rice & broccoli were extremely tender. The desserts & coffee got us ready for our hike back to the Kapalua Resort.
Great food and Chantelle was a wonderful server! Loved the location, as well.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful view of the sunset.
Property is looking tired...could use a bit of a face lift.
Still great dining.
We have eaten here in years gone by. Our reservation was for 7:45. The inside portion of the restaurant was extremely noisy. We chose to eat on the patio which was not busy and nicely quiet. This was the best decision. The service was prompt, but not particularly attentive or mannerly. The dishes were kind of just slid onto the table while the server exited. Nothing truly bad, but not really good. After that, our meals were truly delicious! Well worth our visit. Highly recommended as a place to dine on Maui. The patio ambience was terrific. Small with great view of lights across the bay.
The setting on Napili Bay is incredible. Worth earring here just to experience it. The restaurant is like a nice diner design, not a fancy restaurant. The food was just ok. The service weird. Our waiter was just strange. Again go for the view and an ok restaurant.
Great view, shame about the food. Seafood was tasteless, steak was over cooked, and shellfish was imported — poorly.
This location has so much to offer, it’s a pity the kitchen lets it down.
This was one of the best meals we had on Maui! We'll definitely return.
Location, location, location. A restaurant on a beautiful bay, with glorious views and sunsets. I return here every time I am in Maui.
Best dish I've had so far on island (Basil prep with Opakapaka!).
Had a great time celebrating wife’s birthday and our 10 year anniversary. Food was amazing and view was great.
Great food, our waitress was outstanding. But our highly anticipated evening to celebrate our anniversary was marred with a couple sporting a large camera and taking pictures of everything, from the menu to every morsel they tasted. They were seated most conspicuously in a table by the window. The man was up and down like a toddler, very distracting and any view we may have had was full of him hunched over his subject..Clearly, some kind of highly catered to food critics. Our experience in this lovely setting was definitely not what we had imagined.
What a beautiful setting! We timed our reservation so we would be seated to watch the sunset and it was spectacular. Food and drinks were fresh, nicely prepared and presented and very good.
We checked for handicap accessibility and when we got to the restaurant found there is no ability to get someone from the parking lot to the restaurant on a walker. It is all downhill and a very long distance from handicap parking to the restaurant. We left our handicapped guest half way and went to inquire whether we had missed something. Once we got to the hostess station we were told that we should have checked at the front desk of the hotel. However, nothing signaled that advice until we had abandoned our guest on the hill and we’re already downstairs. We then we’re taking by golf cart from the hill but the gentleman could only go so far and the rest of the way was to be done on foot. I think you need indicate to guests that there is limited accessibility.
Beautiful location and good food
The Sea House restaurant is excellent. The location at Napili Kai is great if you are on the west end of Maui. The food and service are a wonderful experience, I typically go with the chef special and the Lahaina mule is delicious. Go approx. 6:30 for the tiki torch lighting and enjoy the Maui sunset. Live music was an extra special touch!!
The service was not great and the food was very mediocre. I would not recommend for dinner. The hostess barely even acknowledged us. We saw the server maybe 3 times.
The service was truly bad. The food was decent, but wasn’t great for the price. Overall a disappointing experience, especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.
We have been visiting Maui for over fifty years now and the Sea House Restaurant is our go to spot for happy hour and/or dinner. The food and service is consistently great and you can't beat the view. Love their fresh fish preparations, but the menu is varied and there is something for everyone. The daily happy hour is a great deal and always lively and fun.
One of us loved the dinner of lobster and fish. However my steak was tough and inedible. The staff was very apologetic and got me another steak not much better but edible. They have me a complimentary salad and dessert. This was a disappointment as the Sea House has always been one of our favorites
Service was excellent. Vladimir was our server,
Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menue. View was incredible, Sun was setting as we dined. Great experience.
The Hawaiian Fish was amazing! The first time I came I had the poke nachos, which were great. The restaurant was very comfortable.
Birthday celebration was lovely!
The food was very average. Facility is worn and in need of refurbishment. Server was forgetful. Prices were slightly more modest. Setting on water is saving grace.
Mama’s was wonderful. The restaurant grounds are beautiful and well groomed, but the restaurant and bar was breathtaking. The food and drinks was the best part however. Fresh fish dishes and upcountry vegetables to die for. The menu even told the name of the local fisherman and where he caught that fish. Loved this place and will go back often.
