Sea Grill Ratings and Reviews
Had dinner there last night. Have been there many times before. Last night my wife ordered the lobster which was very good and I had the New York strip steak which was terrible. Fatty with a white line of sinew running through the center. I complaind to the waiter but he did not offer to take it back or take it off the check. The waiter was busy and spent most of his time at the computer facing away from his tables.
The service tonight was not as good as it usually is. It was Valentine's Day but the restaurant is always crowded so that would not be the case. The food was up to par though. My whole branzino was delicious. The crab cake, steak and lamb chops had by the others was good too.
A server makes your experience and ours was poor. He left us for almost twenty minutes while he catered to the needs of the people sitting next to us. Once our entrees were served he never came back to the table to check on us. Twice I had to stop someone to ask that our water glasses be refilled. I even had to pour the wine for us. It was my birthday and we had eaten so much wonderful food that we did not want dessert. He brought a cup of whipped cream with a candle. Even if I wanted to eat that pitiful offering he didn’t even leave a spoon. I have been to sea grill many times. It is one of my favorite restaurants and I have never had a bad experience until my birthday dinner.
We have been to this restaurant many times, love the food, atmosphere and overall experience.
Last Saturday night service was worse than poor, and the attitude of management was worse. My encounter with him was bike and rude.
On top of the extremely poor, sometimes non-existent service, they tacked a 20% gratuity on the bill!
While the food was tasty - the menu has not changed in years. And the service was slow and inattentive. Our shrimp dishes - after waiting an hour for the food - arrived cold. And offer to reheat them was declined as the shrimp would then be over cooked. As compensation the yoghurt dessert was on the house. Service is always inconsistent and unapologetic. With so many wonderful restaurants to choose from - I won’t be rushing back to seagrill.
As always we enjoyed Sea Grill tremendously. We especially love the choice of appetizers and many times only have them and a salad. The food is always fresh and the presentation mouth-watering.
Service is always exceptionl .
The only negative is that we would like to see new video presentations. We have been going to Sea Grill for so long that a change would be welcome. But we will continue to go there even if there is no change.
We had not eaten at Sea Grill in awhile and thought to reaquaint ourselves. The service is excellent and the food was tastey. We started with an appetizer plate , shared a Greek salad and then each of our party had a different maincourse. There was so much to eat we skipped coffee and dessert.
Our go-to restaurant for fabulous food and attention to service. We were welcomed back with open arms. The tuna tartar to start was delicious. I always order the whole branzino which is sweet, juicy and large!! My husband had the soup and steak which he truly enjoyed. Oh the grilled veggies are great.
