Sea Grill Ratings and Reviews
As always we enjoyed Sea Grill tremendously. We especially love the choice of appetizers and many times only have them and a salad. The food is always fresh and the presentation mouth-watering.
Service is always exceptionl .
The only negative is that we would like to see new video presentations. We have been going to Sea Grill for so long that a change would be welcome. But we will continue to go there even if there is no change.
We had not eaten at Sea Grill in awhile and thought to reaquaint ourselves. The service is excellent and the food was tastey. We started with an appetizer plate , shared a Greek salad and then each of our party had a different maincourse. There was so much to eat we skipped coffee and dessert.
Our go-to restaurant for fabulous food and attention to service. We were welcomed back with open arms. The tuna tartar to start was delicious. I always order the whole branzino which is sweet, juicy and large!! My husband had the soup and steak which he truly enjoyed. Oh the grilled veggies are great.
Everything is so yummy and fresh here always fresh and good I love coming here to eat always done right at the end of the day good value for the money ;the place looks nice ; good wine list and pricing ; wait staff fast and good and fresh fish grilled simple always delicious ! Thank you
After having gone multiple times to Sea Grill I had recommended going with friends who have never gone. We sat near the window as requested. At that point things went downhill. Our appetizers all came at different times. I wait 10mins while my friend had theirs. It was disappointing. The grilled octopus was tough, my grilled calamari was oily and highly salted after requesting no salt added.
Then we were getting wet. Apparently we were sitting under the AC vent and the condensation dripped and dripped. We called the waiter but he told us to wait; so we called the manager. We asked to be move, so he moved the table over. That worked but we were literally on top of another table.
The service was terrible and the main course was worse. I was so sorry as I recommended this place.
We had made a point of making a reservation as we were flying in from London and wanted to invite our special friends to join us. Sadly it was a complete disappointment from the moment we arrived. We were kept waiting as our table wasn't ready. After10 minutes we were led to a table which had not been set for the correct number in our party! My husband and I wanted to have the Lobster Linguini only to be told that they could not do this as they only had one lobster - bearing in mind this is a fish restaurant! So we were offered a whole lobster broiled with linguini on the side. After waiting what seemed like forever, our food arrived. The lobster had been broiled, cut in half and we were provided with tools to get into the claws! Talk about messy. As I was working through, trying to get the meat out it was pretty hard work and so the rest of the lobster got cold. I then had to wait for wet napkins to clean my hands and a finger bowl which was cold!. I think my request while holding out dirty hands, got lost in translation! By the time I got all the meat extracted from the shell a small bowl of linguine smothered in oil and huge chunks of garlic arrived. Hardly sufficient for two people to share but in any case the linguini was not particularly palatable. We subsequently found out that they were short staffed in the kitchen. So the only person who can cook such an expensive dish was not working that night! Much to my embarrassment, my guest complained and the restaurant gave us a couple of desserts on the house. They were ok but nothing special. So all in all, not good enough and definitely not worth the money. Sadly I will not be recommending a return visit especially as this restaurant is a 45 minute drive from where we usually stay. Bad enough that we were kept waiting initially and our table was not even set - particularly as the restaurant was half empty and that we had made the reservation from London by internet, but that the food was so disappointing too.
Poor service and we were there on the early side. Tables were empty when we arrived and filled up quickly. Food was over seasoned but it was a good meal. Portions were good. Service was well below average for this level of dining. They have plenty of wait staff. In fact, the place was crawling with them, but we couldn’t get a glass of water or a lemon after asking 3 times it came. I wouldn’t say don’t go to this restaurant. It is good. Perhaps we went on an off night.
My worst experience ever in a restaurant. The manager was arrogant. After I explained him that I called before and request a Table near the bar to watch an NFL game. Then I went with the receptionist and she misunderstood everything.
The service was slow, except one of the waiters.
The bar tender was unrespectful to me, when we were watching the game and they changed the channel. Saying that I only like discussions and the tv was for everyone. When they not even asked to change the channel.
In General, I will never recommend this place.
To whom it may concern,
Well we had reservations for 8:15 and we arrived at 8:05 We were at our table at 8:40 with “I am sorry for the delay”
Nothing more, no drinks offered, nothing that a restaurant with this class should do : apologize with act not only words
And overall, it left a bad taste in our mouth
The best Mediterranean food in Miami-Dade County. Portions were generous. Every dish was extremely flavorful. The Feta Saganaki was outstanding. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked, as well as the Swordfish Ladoregano, Snapper, and Veal chop. Desserts were on delicious, also. We will be returning to try more of the delicious food offerings!
We had a great experience! The restaurant itself is beautiful. Service was warm yet absolutely professional. We felt like we were guests at a state dinner. Our server, Matt, was one of the best we've ever had.
Food was excellent. Prices were higher than average, but not outrageous, considering the quality and atmosphere.
We dined outdoors, which borders on a mangrove and is overlooking the ICW. A lovely and romantic spot.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely return!
My husband & I chose to eat here because we wanted some seafood. The Sea Grill did not disappoint. It is a good sized restaurant with a nice ambiance. They have a patio/deck with outdoor seating. People smoke outside so if that bothers you, you may want to sit inside.
Their menu has lots of choices - especially in the appetizer section. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer & the avgolemono soup (Greek chicken, rice & orzo). We enjoyed both appetizers. For dinner we both had fish dishes. I had the whole red snapper. My husband had the grouper plaki. Mine was good but the fish was a little mushy. My husband really liked his. We liked the consistency (texture) of the grouper. We ordered the grilled pepper appetizer as a side dish. It was really good.
We declined dessert but Our server, Robbin, brought us a slice of cake on the House. He was also helpful in helping us decide what we wanted to order. We appreciated that since it was our 1st time here.
We would definitely recommend the Sea Grill.
My husband and I traveled from Boynton Beach to get together with some clients at 7:30 in Miami.
We had a 6:30 res so I knew we were short for time right at the start.
Sebastian our water was OUTSTANDING, efficient, attentive and very helpful with the menu and knew were short for time.
Everything was amazing. We had a Greek salad, the dressing was the best we ever had for Greek, grilled calamari for an app as well they were exceptional, and the lamb chops of course were YUMMM!!
Too notch food,great service!!
We will be back when we don’t have 35 mins to eat ;)
