Sea Grill Ratings and Reviews
The waiter was inexperienced, but the manager, Hector, saved the day. He gave us the requested table, corrected the waiter’s mistakes, saw that we got what we ordered., and gave us a complimentary dessert for our “troubles”. We couldn’t ask for anything more. We are residents, not tourists, and have been there before, we will go back, it’s good to know you can count on management to make things right if necessary.
We have been coming here since the restaurant opened years ago. The word "consistant" comes to mind, as "sister" restaurant like Carpaccio and others by the same ownership. Pride is taken in the food and service. I find their prices reasonable. Free Valet parking is "Icing on The Cake".
Another amazing dinner at Sea Grill. We shared the grilled octopus, which remains the best we have ever had in flavor and very succulent. The Greek salad was very fresh and with just enough dressing. For the entree we shared a Dorado with lemon potatoes and grilled (perfectly) asparagus on the side. While we didn’t order dessert, our waiter Sebastian brought us a serving of ekmek - very light and just sweet with fruit and spices. The service was the perfect balance of attention and advice without being too close. We started outdoors, but moved in when the mosquitos showed up. It’s south Florida in September - comes with the territory.
Our waiter was courteous and very knowledgeable . We shared the Greek salad . I felt it had too many tomatoes and not enough cucumbers . I was also disappointed in the shrimp cocktail , $17.00 for three jumbo shrimp seemed outrageous !!! The main course of turbot was delicious and we enjoyed the dessert of phylo and apples . , a Greek version of apple pie
SEA GRILL CONTINUES TO IMPRESS, ONE OF THE FINEST IN ALL OF S. FLA.
EVERY DISH COOKED TO UTTER PERFECTION. MAGNIFICENT. SERVICE IMPECCABLE.
WHAT ELSE CAN ONE SAY? OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS NEED TO LEARN FROM SEA GRILL WHAT MAKES A PERFECT RESTAURANT. FIVE STARS TO THEM!!!! THEY ARE A CLASS ACT. THE GROUP IS A CLASS ACT.
Sea Grill, Sunny Isles Beach,FL, has amazing food! I loved their fish and their Greek salads. The sides like the lemon potato is super delicious! Service was good! Very pricey when compared to other options nearby. Good location easy parking and nice space and decor.
They were having just one waitress for a big area and she couldn't be aware of every customer needs on her area, we have been customers for a long time but last night was horrible, it took them over 20 minutes to even asked us what we would like to drink, they didn't have the wine we asked for and told us they haven't had it for a long time,, but she let us know after over 25 minutes from when we asked for the wine to let us know that they didn't have it , so why they still have it in the wine list?
Then she came and told us they didn't have the fish we asked for and offered another one and after 10 minutes she came again and told us they didn't have it anymore, then she offered another one and told us it was amazing and at the end it they brought it almost raw and was not good at all.
It was very disappointing the whole experience last night
This is our third time at this restaurant. Food has been consistently excellent (the ouzo mussels are to die for). Service, not so much. Every time it has been terribly slow--although this last time, it was less slow than the previous 2. But we did ask for more bread and never got it, our water glasses did not get refilled.
Having said that, I would say if you want really good Greek food in this area, go and keep an open mind about the service..:-)
In the mood for a fine Greek dining experience ,look no further than " Sea Grill ". Dining offers include both wonderful ambiance in the restaurant, but during the cooler South Florida months, waterfront dining as well.
Start with a Greek Salad [ of course ] and an additional side of roasted multi colored peppers to be shared and enjoyed with a bottle of chilled Prosecco. Entrees include the very best Lamb Chops and a whole Mediterranean Branzino served with Lemon potatoes.
The signature Apple strudel dessert is a must to wind down one of the finest South Florida dining experiences you will ever have.
The venue is lovely and staff was nice and friendly. Unfortunately our server was not very good, he would disappear and we had to ask for things multiple times. Luckily others noticed and picked up his slack a bit but didn't make sense considering the restaurant was NOT busy at all at the time. We ordered a bottle of wine but were only served initially, he never came back to refill our glasses. Also one order of lamb was requested well done and one medium, he seemed to not know which was which and both ended up being well done anyway. Well seasoned just wrong temp. I think the restaurant has potential and food was not bad despite the meat temp, I would give it one more try in hopes of better service
We enjoyed nice evening on the patio. Greek salad was great, as always, and so was grilled octopus. Branzino, yellowfin tuna, and shrimp were also delightful. Ekmek for desert, plus refreshing sorbet (orange one!) All in all, a pleasant experience.
