Sea Grill Ratings and Reviews
Dining at Sea Grill is always an unforgettable culinary experience! I have been able to sample many of the dishes in the menu and sometimes it's difficult to make a decision on what to order since the menu has so many delicious dishes to select from. I have the say that the Greek Salad is the best ever!
Let's see where to begin... My boyfriend and I took his grandparents out on Father's Day expecting a great meal like we usually do here. We were seated right away, but his grandmother requested a pillow for the chair and we were half way through the meal and it still didn't come. (We had asked six different people at that point, finally by the seventh it came). We ordered two separate appetizers and one of them came out after our main course I guess they thought we ordered octopus as dessert? The next day my boyfriend called the restaurant to speak to the manager and was told it was his day off when he asked for the email address he was told the manager doesn't have one? I've never heard of such a thing. EVER. We continued to call every few days to try to catch him but he never seemed to be there. Finally we got in touch with him July 2nd. When we told him everything that had happened he told us that sometimes the appetizers come at different times.. For dessert really? Then we said we would be willing to give his establishment another chance if he can guarantee a seamless experience and he said "we have no availability tonight" and basically hung up the phone. Such a shame since this place is so close to home and we would frequent here often.
we have gone to Sea Grill several times with our daughter who is 9. The food has been consistently good! The food is fresh and perfectly cooked. We usually order a sample of many things and share it family style. we have yet to try something we haven't liked. My only complaint is compared to the food, the wine is a lower quality than I would like by the glass (responsible driver). The deserts are delectable. a nice place to go as a family on a Sunday afternoon and sit out on the deck before Summer hits.
I ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, a small greek salad, the grilled branzino, string beans, and grilled vegetables. Everything was very good. The people in my party were also pleased with the grouper and salmon dishes they ordered. I also ordered some Jasmine green tea that was extraordinary. My friends also ordered the apple pie like dessert which they loved.
server argued volubly when we asked to get rice as a side dish instead of the potato. we were a party of 5. had ordered 5 appetizers as well as substantial main courses and wine. was totally out of place. other than the server, all was excellent. he also kept rushing us to obviously quickly turn his table.
Made the absolute right choice for a Valentines Day dinner ! Quality food, service and always friendly,Sea Grill covers the bases. Best choice of fresh [really fresh ] fish in the area. A table neighbor had a fabulous entree of Dover Sole which he ordered a day earlier and had it prepared perfectly. [not a menu item ]. My wife and I enjoyed their Greek Salad and entree's of a whole Branzino from the Med. and a large portion of lamb chops and lemon potatoes . Not enough room for their signature Apple dessert . Oh well, there will be a next time for sure !!!
Food always very good- pricey, not a value, but we think worth it. some decent, reasonably priced wines on a list that is generally expensive. This time we went on a Saturday night which accounts for the service only being fair- usually quite good- will return but try to avoid weekends.
This has been the best outing at this restaurant for us. We frequent this establishment and brought a couple who had not been to the restaurant previously. The food, wine and especially the service were all an experience to remember! We will definitely be back!
Our first visit- will definitely return. Noise level high inside, quieter outside. But setting delightful and service excellent. Appetizer and shrimp entree excellent. Grouper overcooked and dry which is why rated food good and not higher. If it wasn't so late, would have sent back. Next time would order different, probably one of several whole fish available.Included side average potatoes- anything else extra- prices quite high. For most could be a special occasion type of place.
Our waiter Nick (Niko?) once again made fantastic food a fantastic dining experience. The grilled calamari and Pikilia were excellent, as were the other appetizers. The fish, Pompano, Bronzino and Mullets were also excellent. We didn't feel we had enough room for dessert so only one person ordered. The house gave us 4 for the table - and nothing remained.
The service is always personable and quick. We both loved the chicken soup, my husband the mussels (which he enjoyed) and I had the beet salad (panzaria) for the first time. I loved it. My husband's steak was tasty and huge. My whole branzino was delicious as always. For my birthday they brought me a piece of cake with a candle. How nice!Roberto was
Have dined here several times before and never disappoints. Food is outstanding, great service, atmosphere and quality. I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys fish to try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Fish is just simply grilled with olive oil and lemon. It's fresh and simple and delicious. Greek salad is top notch as well as the grilled veggies. The side potatoes are to die for.
The title says it all. We were traveling with our one year old but really had been craving quality seafood. A quick search showed this was the place. We knew it may not be the most appropriate venue for our baby but were pleasantly surprised how welcomed he was by all of the staff. Our waiter and all of the support staff were of the highest quality, most kind, and most knowledgeable we have ever experienced anywhere, including France. The food was not only delicious and cooked to perfection but treated with such respect and a delicate touch that each bite seemed to transform the dish in a way that only the highest quality chef is able to accomplish. When you find such an amazing place with the best food, the best staff, and a table seated outside on the intercostal waterway price is no object in determining how happy I am with my dinner, but if it must be, I got a steal!! Thank you Sea Grill for keeping it simple and just doing food right. We had a meal and evening we won't soon forget.
