The service and the food were excellent.
Our dining party ordered both seafood and steaks and everyone enjoyed their choices.
I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and the food and service has been consistently excellent.
The service was excellent Milton our waiter was phenomenal. He remembered it was my sisters birthday celebration. The food was excellent especially the califlour soup.
I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Wait staff was excellent, hosts initially stand offish but improved through the night. The soup was superb, meals we very good, dessert was excellent
Ambience , room way to dark, need cell light app to see, room alternated to hot and then cold.
The evening was high end price as expected
It’s wonderful place to celebrate
We have dined there on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food and excellent service. It does make a dent in your pocket book, but worth it for a special occasion or just when you want to east excellent seafood.
Visiting for Broadway play and touring. Wanted seafood n found this restaurant on Open Table.
Excellent service. Amazing food and wonderful ambience. Throughly enjoyable experience!
Everything we ordered was delicious. Oyr white wine was delivered at the proper 13 degree C temperature, a rarity. Only negative is the noise level, which was screaming and made it almost impossible to have s conversion.
Food tastes amazing but portions were too small for the price.
Soup and bisque very good. The snapper was good (have had better) and the rack of lamb was sub-par - under seasoned and room temperature (in their defense, they were unusually busy that night and they comped the lamb).
The service was excellent, particularly given the aforementioned busy night. It's a noisy, upscale, primarily male after work place - good if you're in the mood, not exactly a romantic hide-a-way.
Food was very good but was unnecessarily pricey for the quality/presentation. Service was excellent!
muy buen ligar, súper recomendable, vale la oena visitarlo, es caro pero muy bueno
Our waiter, hymie, was terrific. His recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious .
What a fabulous meal and experience we had!! Delicious food, great ambiance and amazing service. Our waiter Jaime was an absolute pleasure! We will definitely be returning!
As usual Sea Fire Grill did not disappoint. Food and service are always top notch. I changed the reservation twice in the week from four to six people with no problem. Had a beautiful table by the fireplace. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. Love it.
Phenomenal food and service is second to none. Highly recommended.
Great food and very accommodating service. Would go again.
2nd time here with my husband. WE LOVE the service, food, ambiance etc. the fire place is a great romantic touch to your evening with the special person.
The food was exceptional but the service was unfriendly and impolite
The food was absolutely fantastic. Had surf and turf. Delicious prime rib. Biggest shrimp cocktail i have seen, but I woud have liked a bit more surf with my turf but overall A+. Server was top notch and did a great job. ......A bit pricey but worth it. Had an obnoxious , rude drunk woman dining alone sitting next to us that would not keep quiet and was on her phone being very loud the whole time..... Not what i had in mind with a nearly $300 dinner. Saturday night 3/31 date with my wife.
Our first visit to this elegant restaurant. We enjoyed the beet salad and wedge salads. The lobster roll sandwich and cheeseburger were both amazing as were the herb fries served with the sandwiches. The molten chocolate cake was also delicious. Our waiter Benson was super efficient and helpful my water glass was never empty.
The service is excellent and the seafood is always fresh. A wonderful place for a business lunch or a quiet dinner.
The food was outstanding and our waiter had excellent service and attended to our allergies without any issues. Would definitely recommend.
Great food, great service.
Impeccable service, excellent food.
Very noisy so couldn’t have conversation with friends.
Came to NYC for a weekend. Very accommodating waiter, Ari. Good food done well.
Asked for a quiet location and we were put in the middle of a lot of loud tables. Didn't get seated promptly. Food was just OK but way overpriced. Would try another place next time.
I reached 35 min early hoping we would get a table on time . Well the martyr d said we would get table by 7:30 which was our reserve time - well it was 7:40 I did not get the table. I went up to her and she said oh yes we will take you to table now. If I had not gone to herbage would not have reached me out.. lousy service from that point
The server was not paying attention food was good but service was too the value
The service and food was excellent, however our table of 4 was between 2 pillars and on each side of us was 2 large parties, actually the same party so people were extremely loud and mingling over our table and chairs. It is not nice to be placed between a large party in a hallway area where the noise carries. It was a little disappointing!
I want to say that the best two things of this restaurant are the food and the service. It must be a very busy week for restaurants in NYC because the restaurant was packed. We waited for our table for a few minutes and there wasn't any standing room. The restaurant was very loud but luckily we got a table towards the back. I can say without doubt that this is one of the best seafood restaurants in the city with a very ample menu. We'll be back.
Expensive but okay
I made a reservation for one. Staff was phenomenal - and I requested a quick meal. I had the swordfish club with chips and a simple lemon water. Everything was perfect. It was slightly noisy, but not as loud as some of the other reviews. I was able to have short communications with everyone from the host, busser, waitstaff, and manager. The chairs were rather comfortable, and the table was not too high or too low, something valuable to a short person like myself. I appreciated the somewhat soft bright lighting for a dreary day in the city, and was able to relax between business meetings easily. Bathrooms were very clean, which is always appreciated!
Outstanding food, very well organized with minimal waiting time. A little close-quarter seating; but they made it work.
The food was outstanding and the service was as well
This little gem in midtown has a great ambiance. There is a fireplace in the back and they played soothing Bossa nova while we dined. They have a great wine list. The service is great and the food is great. The waiters were very friendly. The plating was elegant and the flavors were great. Classy spot. Would recommend and would definitely dine again.
We had a reservation & still waited over 30mins for our table which is disappointing. The hostesses were not helpful w giving a timetable as to when out table would possibly be ready and were not the friendliest. Food was good, servers were attentive and nice.... very loud restaurant so hard to hold a conversation. Great coffee.
Not sure if we will be back- there's just too many choices in the area w great food who actually honor your reservation time & don't make you feel bad when you ask when your table will be ready.
The wait was a bit long (with a reservation). The host explained it was 2 large parties take up most of the table. The food was very good. I had Lobster Bisque (could’ve added some spice) for appetizer. Steak for 2 (medium well), Lobster Mac n Cheese, and sautéed Mushrooms for entree. No desert. Beside the young lady that threw her drink in her husband face and him ripping her wig off her head, it was a nice place to eat. Will recommend.
After a stressful flight from LA to NY in a snowstorm, and having to make last minute arrangements for a hotel in New York, we walked out of the hotel a few steps at 9:30 PM and entered the inviting Sea Fire Grill, where all the stress from the day was quickly melted away by the ambience, friendliness and wonderful food we received. This is a classic New York restaurant, where service and atmosphere are matched by superbly prepared food. Having lived in N.Y. Many years ago, and in LA for more than 40 years, we realized how much we missed this type of restaurant. The Maitre d’ and service staff were exemplary and made a stressful and tiring day a delightful evening. We would return, even if we weren’t staying next door! Highly recommended!
Omg !!! I cannot day enough about this place . Absolutely fabulous !!!! From beginning to end . People there are very welcoming they always checked up on us . The food was delicious we were so stuffed when we left ! And since it was my husbands bday they gave up complimentary 10 year old wine along with cake and ice cream ! I thought that was the best . I can’t forget the best waiter in the world Benson !!!!! You rockkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice place . Until next time
