Very professional ! We had a great meal! Sea food are awesome! And the steak too! Nice wine btw!
Second time here and food was exceptional as always. Shared grilled calamari, steak tartare, and tuna salmon tartare all outstanding. Everyone loves their mains which ranged from halibut to swordfish and other seafood. Our Waiter Diar was very attentive and most helpful too. Great service
Great service, great food, great ambience. It’s higher end dining. Even though it’s known primarily for their seafood, I actually ordered the porterhouse for 2 and it was as good as any high end steakhouse.
Great in all ways!
The bar scene and service (especially Ben) is incredible.
As always, the staff makes you feel like a king!
Good food, well-prepared with a creative and elegant presentation. Attentive service, an a very welcoming greeting. A pleasant ambiance, conducive for a conversation although chatter noise can be high at times. Very good value.
Seafood was great !!! Wine was incredible and what is great about Sea Fire Grill is the Service the Service the SERVICE !!!! Knowledgeable and caring servers make you feel like you are the MOST important table in the restaurant... Love this place
Very customer service focused. Extremely pleased with my experience
Amazing food. I will definitely be back again soon!
Reception and waiter were excellent. Maitre'd was rude. Walked us to our table, pulled out a chair halfway and kept walking. My wife had the pasta dish which was excellent. I had the branzino which was well cooked but the promised sauce was non-existent. The zucchini side dish was very good. Prices are probably normal for New York but are double what I have paid in southern California for an equivalent dining experience.
Great seafood and extensive wine list. Nice quiet ambiance, easy to hear your dinner partners conversation. Attentive service.
Favorite date night restaurant. Originally the risotto was why I liked this place but after tasting their filet mignon I’m in love. Also they have a large selection of wines which makes me happy.
Had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and everyone was very nice
Food outstanding. Desert a bit of a letdown.
The atmosphere and service were both outstanding, the food was disappointing. It was fine, but certainly not great for the price point.
A wonderful culinary experience - always is. It’s on the pricey side, but it’s an excellent restaurant in midtown Manhattan. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody.
Overall experience was great! The manager, Nick, greeted us upon arrival and got us seated. He also checked in throughout dinner to make sure we were being taken care of and enjoying our meal. Timmy, our server was wonderful! He had great recommendations on drinks and they were delicious! He also was very attentive during the course of the night and was very personable. Ben, at the bar, thank you for the delicious cocktails! The service overall was exceptional. Everyone was attentive and made sure we were enjoying our time there.
The food—DELICIOUS! From oysters and crab cakes as appetizers to the SFG Surf and Turf as the main course. We left full and I am still dreaming of the filet mignon!
The cocktails were made to perfection! From the love potion to Timmy and Ben’s special cocktails, we loved everything.
Thank you SFG staff for exceptional service and such a wonderful meal. I will be returning and will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality lunch or dinner with great ambience and exceptional service.
Beautiful experience and great tasty pasta and all the above.
We dined on nye: the setting was nice, servers kind and efficient, the food was ok and nicely displayed but it wasn't worth the price we paid. A bit disappointed...
Great meal and great service!
Service and Food-excellent!
The service was outstanding. The food was more than delicious. The only let down was that they did not serve mixed drinks like pina colada, which I love.
Absolutely first-class experience in every way. Highly recommended.
Muy buen lugar, con ambiente agradable. La comida excelente y el servicio de primera. En especial la atención y recomendaciones de Jaime nuestro mesero fueron muy puntuales. Para recomendar y regresar sin duda.
What a meal. Absolutely everything was prepared to perfection. Haven’t had many dining experiences that can top this one. Not cheap though.
Second time there. First time was 2 years ago. Food still excellent, service still excellent, very good bar too. On both occasions dining there, we were down to New York City for holidays. I would definitely dine here again.
Went with my coworker to celebrate end of the year accomplishments. Food was outstanding, as well as cocktails. Service was on point, we didn’t once have to wait long for out waiter. Food showed up about 15 minutes after appetizers (we had a variety from the raw bar- delish) which was perfect. Would definitely return. Also! My co worker mentioned it was my birthday the week prior & we were treated with some delicious ice cream at the end of our meal. Perfection.
Always a pleasure coming to this place. It’s becoming my fiancée and myself favorite restaurant. This time we met Valdet (I guess is his name) and honestly I can’t identify which of all servers is better, they all deliver the same kindness and hospitality. Looking forward to come back. Thank you again for the great night. Awesome!!
We were celebrating and planned a special dinner in NYC, seafood and cocktails! The restaurant was beautiful and comfortable, we sat in the room with a fireplace, however, the meal and cocktails were not as good as we'd hoped. Based on the waiters recommendation, I ordered the stuffed lobster, supposedly priced at $85 but when we got the bill it was $105!!! I brought it to the waiters attention, and he said that I misunderstood and it was spelled out in the menu. Maybe true, but he definitely stated that it was $85. As far as the celebration, I had to remind him that we were celebrating, but he was kind enough to bring us a desesrt at no charge. Again, not great and the presentation was awful. Overall we had an okay time because it was quiet and romantic, but a little disappointing since we spent $300.
Wonderful food, expertly prepared and professionally served
We wanted a restaurant close to our Hotel. Sea Fire was perfect. We discover a great restaurant in the process. Staff very professional. We had a special Red Snapper for two. Filleted at our table and it was delicious.
Was disappointed/underwhelmed by the experience overall. Our waiter was friendly, but the service was just so so. The apps came out right away, but the entrees took a very long time to come out. The bus boy knocked a glass off the table which broke near our table and then left glass shards under our feet for 30 mins until I asked them to clean it up. My fish was overcooked which was shocking given the reputation of the restaurant. I'll chalk it up to a bad night...
Food and atmosphere was outstanding. The only critique I have is the bathrooms. They haven’t been upgraded since the 70’s. You have a beautiful restaurant and then you go into the bathroom and you feel like you are in a much lower level restaurant because of it. The seafood was tremendous
Expected the food to be better for the price! food was just okay- will probably not return.
Goood food - just had to tell the waiter to slow down
Food overall pretty good however the service was not worth the price of the meal
