Great food. Exceptional service..highly recommended..
I toughest grilled octopus ever. Really greasy sea scallops. Drinks were good. Loud at dinner but able to hear across the table. Waiters not as polished as other midtown eateries.
One of the few restaurants that are expensive but you can still say it's a great value because the food is just that extraordinarily good!
The meal was excellent, I had the ahi tuna and my wife had the filet. The service was just right.....the waiter would check in as needed but would not hover. I would highly recommend the Sea Fire Grill.
Food and service was impeccable as usual!
The Bibb salad and the Burrata was excellent. I ordered the branzino and it was good but nothing special. The truffle mashed potatoes were too heavy and thick instead of light and fluffy. Someone in our party had the pasta with crab and I tasted it and it was outstanding.
Service was great, wine was excellent, food was good but I wouldn’t order the branzino again.
Impeccable establishment. Tastefully decorated with a qualified service staff second to none. We loved our server (Diar) as he was courteous and professional on all levels. Food & Drink was amazing. The Halibut dish we enjoyed was cooked to perfection. This place is a "must go" when in NYC!
Great overall meal
We just took a chance based on reviews and we were very pleased! The food was not only delicious—the presentation was wonderful. Our server, Benson, was very friendly and helpful. He helped us make decisions and provided excellent service! We highly recommend this restaurant!!
Really good food. 45.00 for fish a little high. Your site had three dollar marks, but should have been four.
Food and service was excellent I would definitely go back
Service and food is mediocre. Not worth the price.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and the entire staff went out of their way to take great care of
us and the seafood and caviar were incredible !!! My filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly . Sea Fire Grill was one of the best dining experiences ever .
We loved our dinner at Sea Fire Grill! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our wait staff had great timing (did not rush us, but was there when needed), and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the food preparation (very important to me since I have a gluten allergy). I really liked that the food was simply prepared - lightly seasoned to allow the nature and nuanced flavor of the ingredients to shine through (you can do that when you use high quality ingredients!). We would definitely dine here again!
Overall it was ok. Grilled calamari was basically rubber. Sea bass was very well prepared. Nice atmosphere and good service.
This was by far the best dining experience ever. Our server, Valdo, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our food was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Sea Fire Grille, for a job well done.
Outstanding fish and terrific service.
With a group of friends. Lovely table. Fabulous food. Great service!
Food was excellent, service was excellent. Best creamed spinach I have ever had. Halibut and salmon we're out entrees, the fish was excellent and cooked perfectly. Definitely go! Be ready to spend upwards of $160 for 2 with dessert included.
Diar was a new waiter and provided us incredible service!! They wished us happy anniversary the second we walked in, gave us some champagne with dessert, kept waters full, and checked on us often enough (but not too often that it was disruptive). Food was delicious as always (especially that whitefish spread they give you with the bread) and came very quickly. I’ve been here 3 times now and it never disappoints! Atmosphere is quiet and romantic, a great spot for a date!! Thank you Diar for a great evening!
Service and staff was wonderful but food was average. Seafood options great and taste was wonderful. Steak not so much. Had better for the value. Steak lacked taste and was bland.
Service was wonderful. (Thank you Aldo). The food was good but seriously overpriced.
Excellent service, food and experience. Very accommodating with substitutes and diet restrictions.
I was a bit disappointed for the price and reputation. First they tried to seat us in an empty restaurant at the absolute worst table. They moved us upon request. We ordered the prix fixe and it was good but not awesome. For example Avra is cheaper and better. My octopus was slightly over cooked and the vegetables with my branzino were boring and tasteless. Service was good but not great. They should up their game if they want to survive at this price point in midtown.
Met up with an old colleague. Excellent meal. Very good wine. Thoroughly recommend.
We went for my mother’s 75th birthday. Perfect meal and exceptional service. Our waiter’s attention to detail was top notch. I missed catching his name, but he is Albanian and a true class act. Huge thanks!
We've dined at at all locations. Sea Fire is the best. Porterhouse for two is a great choice. Jaime made the evening one of our best.
Food was fantastic and our waiter was great as well !
Words won’t adequately describe our dinner tonight:
Ambience 👍;food exceptionally especially the soft shell crab appetizer. But truly what made our meal
Exceptional were our wait staff: Milton & Diars: attentive, remembered each request, 110% on it.
I think I do go back for water just to have these two professional gentleman serve it!
Next NYC trip, we will dine at Sea Fire Grill if we have Milton and Diars as our our servers!
We arrived for our reservation and our anniversary was acknowledged which is increasingly rare. We were seated at a table in the corner, yet there was a high level of noise in this restaurant with several very boisterous customers that were disturbing despite not being next to us. However, the experience was pleasant due to the team of servers who worked together to provide us with seamless service and a non-rushed pace.
We began with martinis which were generous compared to some NYC restaurants and ordered Apps. I had the steak tartar which was wonderful with a lovely presentation. My husband had lobster bisque which contained the most amount of lobster he had ever received in a bisque. For entrees my husband had a flavorful and large portion of blackened swordfish which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a corn and pepper relish. I had halibut with a spicy creamed spinach, fava beans and tasty lemon gnocchi. The side order of green beans we shared were somewhat rubbery, but tasty.
Despite being quite full, we shared a delicious piece of NY cheesecake with berry topping. It did not disappoint. For our anniversary, the server gave us each a complimentary glass of port...nice touch.
The Sea Fire Grill has wonderful food and stellar service. We just wish the clientele could use their "indoor voices" so quiet conversation could be managed.
Food was good but had no wow factor
The food was excellent and the service was good. The noise level was extreme and we had a problem holding a conversation. The restaurant decor was very inviting and our waiter was very helpful in selecting entrees and wine.
My first time at this restaurant, I had a drink at the bar waiting for my business associates. The service, professionalism, and courtesy was outstanding. Then followed by dinner at a table could not have gone better. Outstanding service with very fine dinning topped off our evening. Our food was simply delicious!
Upon arrival our reservations were available. Our waiters Ori and Jon introduced themselves, were attentive and helpful with cocktail and menu questions. Their overall service was impeccable!
Wonderful menu, fairly priced considering the outstanding quality and creativity of the selections.
Our appetizers and seafood entrees were perfectly portioned, artistically plated and absolutely delicious!
We ended the evening with dessert which was worth every luscious calorie.
The Sea Fire Grill is a quality restaurant on every level.
Overall, the place is very nice, not truly chic but impressive
The food and the service were terrific. I was most impressed that they wanted the customer to be completely satisfied with each dish. The crabmeat cocktail was delicious and could have been a meal. I would definitely recommend this outstanding restaurant.
Our waiter was outstanding-went above and beyond in serving us.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and our waiter, Jamie, was fabulous!! Wonderful food and fun!
My swordfish was raw and cold . My lobster and mac and cheese had no lobster and tasted average. Bread was stale. Tiramisu dessert did not taste fresh. I was not impressed with the amount of money we paid. Dissapointed!
