Our second time there, this trip was for a birthday. Service was great, food even better.
Tom our server gave us great suggestions and did a wonderful job. Halibut and lobster both were prepared very well. Meal was very enjoyable.
Absolutely amazing as always. From the hostess to bartender, to service, to waiter and exceptional management. Seafire continues to produce an consistent product and impress with hospitality.
Food here was amazing. Kudos to the chef and his team.
Service was OK. The backwaiter was more lively and courteous than the captain/server.
Hanna at the front desk was very accommodating.
Top notch food.
And a notable wine list too.
The food is great. Especially the Grilled Calamari and the Stuffed Lobster. Decor, ambiance and staff were all wonderful. I would highly recommend it and would come back again.
What a great find in Midtown. Wonderful ambience and our waiter, Arben, was attentive , polite, knowledgeable. Swordfish was phenomenal and snapper was amazing. Try the Brussel sprout!
Great food, service and ambiance are standards at this restaurant.
The food and service made for a memorable dining experience.
i have been there a few times and food is generally very good, but this time, the Tuna was overcooked for medium-rare that we ordered and it was dry or fresh frozen. they need to keep the quality up all the time, otherwise i am not so interested in visiting
Last minute reservation, we it OpenTable and found Sea Fire Grill and the awesome reviews. Made the reservation and 2 hours later was shown to our table right near the fireplace. I had arrived late but they were still very accommodating not making us wait, this was a huge surprise. The menu is fresh and the specials were right on target. Each of our dishes was perfectly prepared with amazing flavor. Even the herb french fries, the only thing left on the table were wrapped and brought home. Service was on point, the staff was very attentive and the crowd was amazingly friendly. We had a very nice conversation with the couple at the next table.
Highly recommend for a night out in NYC.
The food was wonderful. The staff was courteous, we really liked the bartender. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was great, the food delicious and overall a very fun night. We will be back.
Excellent salmon and lobster pasta. Excellent calamari. Good portion size, very fresh. Could improve the bread to something more unique. Very attentive waiter trying to please. I will return again soon!
Our waiter was sullen, the food cold and we were rushed through dinner. And it was very expensive!
When I made the reservation I told them it was my Husband's B"Day.
No one told the waiter and nothing special was done to celebrate him. Last year I took him there also for his B'day. A dessert was brought over for him. It made the evening special.
A detail being missed like this will not bring us back. There are a ton of other restaurants to pick from.
The seafood is amazing and fresh. Fills up quickly so be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes even if you have a reservation. Highly recommend their octopus, best in nyc.
Very good food and service. The only negative is the feeling that the restaurant is booking 50%more people than it can comfortably hold. Feels little like a sardine can
The Sea Fire Grill has a creative menu, good wine list, and attentive servers. It's a place that I regularly choose for business and personal lunches and dinners and always enjoy.
I took a colleague there for a birthday lunch. The Sea Fire staff was attentive and made it a special day.
Nick did a great job tending to our needs
Sea Fire Grill has it all: location, excellent food and great service. Highly recommend.
Very disappointing . I had asked in advance for a romantic table for our anniversary celebration. We got the worst table in the house. After waiting for our romantic table in the room with the fire place we still didn't get it although we had a side by side table in the corner. My lobster salad was much too cold but my boyfriends crab cake made up for it . It was one of the best. We both ordered Salmon which did not come the way we wanted it cooked. One was too raw and one wasn't well done the way I wanted it. They didn't even offer us dessert on the house for our anniversary. And I was so much looking forward to trying this place for dinner.
Our go to the minute we get to NYC. Great in every way, but especially the attention to your needs.
Excellent seafood and a real bargain with the very generous prix fix menu. And the service was impeccable.
I was looking for the right place to celebrate my husband’s third sober anniversary. We eat out quite a bit, and he tends to be a bit picky. This has been on my list to check out. And, it did not disappoint. Overall, this was a five star experience, and I rarely say that.
There were a couple of choices i didn’t care for. I’m a huge oyster guy. It’s become an addiction. And I was not crazy about the ones here. And the tuna wasn’t my favorite. But truly everything was exceptional, especially the service, which is as important as anything else.
I appreciate restaurants like this, which have a huge wine catalog, and gets a large dining crowd for that, which doesn’t treat us with any less attention because we are a sparkling water drinking table.
I highly recommend.
We went with pre-fix lunch mid-week. It was a bit on more expensive side, but the food was delicious. I had the octopus which was very tender and also pasta with crab meat. I don't eat pasta a lot, but it was definitely a winner: very rich with a lot of crab meat (I took half with me). It's a great choice for people who love pasta and seafood combo. Service was fast and attentive. The restaurant is not very big, and you get that intimate feel. Not noisy, so good for conversations. Overall, it was a great lunch.
It was very nice
Colossally overpriced and pretentious, but the steamed lobster was delicious.
Great food and experience. Service was excellent m
The food and service make this our favorite restaurant here in the city. Ari took wonderful care of us and made our dining experience memorable!
