Outstanding experience as usual. House bread was immediately served. Water glasses were always refilled without asking. All pastas were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the pork shank osso bucco as well. And of course we had to order the Scuza Garlic Bread. Our server was really nice and friendly.

Really great service water always stayed full. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even with the table next to us had an elderly person and they had special requests. Everyone and every staff member was very accommodating. Great local spot with great food.

Let me first start by saying everything had a great flavor. The only issue we had was the main dishes were over sauced. My wife got the chicken and pasta and it was like a soup. The sauce was very watery and there was way too much of it. The flavor was great, just need to thicken up the sauce and less is more. I got the Chicken Saltimbocca. Again, great flavor, but over sauced and needed to be thicker. Overall we love this restaurant. Great staff, good prices, and the ambience is good too. Just need to tweak their sauces a little and 5 stars all around to be had.

The wife and I had the garlic bread, with a bottle of Zin. She had the chicken Picotta and I had Alfredo with chicken. Everything was delicious and service was excellent.

The service should be 4 stars if I didn't discover a half empty Splenda sweetener bag at the bottom of my coffee. I used my own sweetener which is different from the Splenda sweetener restaurant is serving.

I came for my birthday and because were were not greeted or asked for our drink order within the first 15 minutes of being seated my husband grew weary which strained the mood of our party. Our visitors were nonplused. I myself had a horrendous experience; after waiting for our reserved table for several minutes, there was no changing table so I had to go home to change my child's diaper and missed having dinner with my family. Despite the experience I found the acoustics unappealing whereas the seating was both poorly arranged and inadequately spaced.

It was my husband’s birthday! We shared an appetizer of the lobster ravioli that was to die for! The sauce was so amazing with the focaccia dipped in it! My husband had the Osso Buco and I had the Mediterranean Scallops! Both were delicious! Followed by a complimentary brownie with ice cream!

We love coming to Scusa's whenever we come to South Lake Tahoe. The food is excellent. I had the lasagna, and my wife had the eggplant.; both were excellent. However, the show topper was the Frito Misto. What a delectable delight! Scusa's is NUST DO when visiting South Lake Tahoe.~

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner last evening at Scusa’s. Easy to book, friendly, efficient service. We had a bottle of Tierra del Oro Barbera reasonably priced that was quite good, along w salad w Gorgonzola. I had the special ravioli in a creamy white sauce w pesto & cheese that was so good. Very rich so I could only eat half the smaller portion. My husband enjoyed seafood linguine—lots of seafood. He also brought home leftovers. I highly recommend!!

We visit Lake Tahoe many times and we’ve Always wanted to try Scuza’s. Have read good things and my wife and I were very happy with everything about the restaurant. We will be back and sorry we waited so long.
