Food was good but service was poor orders were messed up more than once
Our go to spot before the show. The entire staff took great care of us, great food, and on time to our showing. Thanks!
I visited Scott’s a few hours before seeing a musical at the Center for Performing Arts down the street. The location view was decent, the ambiance peaceful. I found Scott’s to be a little loud for dinner but the food was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tender without being rubbery.
The Rockefeller oysters leave a lot to be desired so I wouldn’t recommend them but the seafood angel hair pasta and scallops, crab and shrimp were all very well done. The mixed drinks on the menus are good.
Very happy with Scott's Seafood. Service was excellent, food was great.... all in all another fantastic experience at Scott's.
The food, service and ambiance was good, but I could not recommend this restaurant. When we received our bill there was a 3% Surcharge. When I asked what is was for, the waiter said that he would take it off. I insisted to know what it was for, and he said "because San Francisco raised their minimum wage to $15.00 per hour this restaurant did not want to raise their prices, and the money was to go for tips to the kitchen help" This explanation was not clear, and I do not agree with any part of it. In the future, I will dine elsewhere.
Scott's has always had the great view and my last two visits have been excellent. A much more modern take on excellent seafood with MUCH better sides offered. Very good overall experience.
Excellent service and food!!
Great ambiance, attentive service, delicious food selection and wide wine selection. When we arrived, the staff were aware of our reservation and had our table ready at the exact time the reservation was made. We were presented with outdoor seating or indoor. Waiter informative of menu selection, though we were unanimously unable to determine what 'AQ' literally translated to (we all understood it pertained to 'Market Price'). I can't say my $57 surf and turf plate was good for my wallet, but I can guarantee any curious person that the food is certainly good for the tummy. My date's crab stuffed salmon was delicious too. We were wondering the origins of the King Crab legs, if these little critters were ever featured on Discovery Channel's "The Deadliest Catch", or if it would even be worth mentioning to prospect customers. I would love to sink my teeth into crab that made an appearance on the show. "Star" crabs. Mmm... I'm ready for round 2 already.
Friends bday brunch! Awesome food and options for the buffet
We've been here several times, and it's always terrific, though expensive. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, my wife had the ($76) lobster tail, which looked to be about 12 oz. She said the asparagus served with her meal was also well cooked which I'm noting here because it's a vegetable that's easy to overcook. Drinks are bit expensive but this restaurant charges a premium on everything it serves.
Note that due to the increase in minimum wage in California to $15 the management is charging a 3% surcharge on the total of your bill, before tip. For our $222 bill it worked out to a little less than $6.
