Amazing customer service. He was
Very accommodating with my special requests and the food was
Amazing! My steak was cooked as requested. All staff were very friendly. My husband even received a birthday desert
And a bottle of wine. We would love to comeback.
The food was good/solid. Raw oysters, soup, plentiful kids menu, tuna.... Regarding food, I would only provide feedback that the kids grilled chicken came with a rice veggie (onion celery) pilaf that was not very kid friendly. The description said "coconut rice" but nothing about the other ingredients which is not ideal for a picky 7 year old. My tuna dish was delicious and came with plain white rice -- which should be part of the kids chicken entree. The serve made the experience terrible though. He went through the motions to get away with his behavior, but treated us like we were an after thought. Ignored us for the most part -- took forever to take our entree order, did not offer new drinks, desert. I had to say something to the manager twice who did try to improve things, but the server's behavior did not change. For this reason I won't return. Hope others have a better experience!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and they treated us like VIP, giving us a sparkling wine bottle as a gift. The waitress was attentive and did not push us to order or finish eating. She gave us space but was attentive to our needs. We never had to flag her down. The food put us in a coma, in a good way! Delicious and well worth it!
A bit disappointed in the quality of food, fails to balance out to prices charged.
Mainly the main dish we’re subpar
Great restaurant! Excellent staff ! As a whole they all work well together! For as busy as it was they delivered!
The food was excellent. All three of us had the seafood and the fish was cooked perfectly. Additionally, the vegetable were cooked perfectly, tender but firm. The service was very good as well.
The food was amazing. The ambiance outstanding.
Food was excellent as usual.
The food was absolutely fantastic, as was the service. I had the Chef's special Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. My fiance had the New York Steak, which was also cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back. I would also recommend Scot's Seafood too. The seating was comfortable and service was prompt. We had a very nice view as well.
The dinning area was nice to look at. The overall feel when you walked in was very pleasant. The service was great. Our server would check in with us without it feeling like she was constantly hounding us. And the food was definitely the best part.
Wonderful! Miguel our server was excellent! Will definitely be back and will ask for him again!
Our server was very attentive but not overly. The food was great and overall atmosphere was as well.
Food tasted great! Service was terrible! We booked for the day after Valentine’s Day and we were not informed that it was still going to be the limited Valentine’s Day menu. When we were seated the waitress took our drink orders and stated she would bring out some bread. After waiting 10 min we asked the waitress as she was walking past our table and she said oh ok. The food came out 30 minutes after we ordered and the food on both plates was more like room temperature. We told the waitress and she said she would comp a dessert. The food was great, the price was expensive, and the service was terrible. I would go back for the food.
My mom and I came for our birthdays. Great service! Love the clam chowder as always
Small menu even after Valentine’s Day. Waited over an hour for our food. People who were seated much later that us got their food within 14 minutes. Really enjoy the Folsom location, not this one.
Scott's is our favorite seafood restaurant in Sacramento. We had a belated Valentines Day dinner there. Longer wait than we expected wirh reservations.
Our waitress was fantastic, very friend and fast! She took extremely good care of us for our Valentine's dinner. My mom has never been here and she loved it.
Exceptional food and experience! Other than PARKING and having to wait 15 minutes for our RESERVATION-our dining experience was wonderful!! We will definitely be back!
Our reservation was for 9pm and we didn’t get our food until close to 11pm. One plate came out cold and the other just wasn’t pleasant. They did offer us a free dessert and comped our food however it was past 11pm and I was still hungry.
I understand that it is busy on Valentine’s Day. I was okay with waiting for a table. However I did not like the fact that the food took awhile to get out and that it was not hot. The scallops were great but a little cold. I also don’t understand how a restaurant runs out of lobster on Valentine’s Day. I also don’t understand why the price changed on the steak and lobster plate. A normal day it is 46 for a 6oz steak and lobster tail. That night was an additional 14 to include the 6oz steak. The seating was kind of bad also. Nothing more romantic than having a small table in a corner with your shoulder touching the wall to your left. I will probably not go on another special occasion day.
We had a 7:45 appointment did not get seated till 8:15 which was ok because i understand they busy that day but to wait till 9:20 for the food we order was way too long and we have to continue asking when will the food be ready.
The Lobster and Steak dinners were fantastic. My Valentine and I were very pleased with our whole dining experience.
Awesome food - the scallops were absolutely buttery! Service was very well-timed - not rushed, but not waiting forever, either. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner - and appreciated the Scott's champagne we were gifted.
the appetizers were good (crab cakes and oysters).
drinks were nice and strong!
our entrees were okay, i did feel like i had a tummy issue later. i gotten a salad.
service was excellent.
Went for breakfast on the early side which is a lot of the reason for most of my complaints, but especially at a classier place such as this the staff and other workings of the restaurant should not be in the middle of the restaurant floor yelling across the dining room. Many times was the ambiance disturbed by restaurant staff talking loudly in the aisles about both personal matters and work items. It was relatively quiet but at every other restaurant of this caliber I’ve been to (including those I’ve worked at) these sorts of things are kept to the back of house or other non-seating areas.
Food was great, and our server was wonderful. The only problem was the time it took to get our food after ordering (about 45 minutes). But we don’t blame anyone specifically for that, it was very busy when we were there
Great service and daily choices outside of the menu.
Delicious! Oysters, wine, filet, dessert ...all top notch!
The food, service and ambiance are excellent. What more could you have ask for?
Beer battered shrimp was soggy and undercooked, took over 10 mins to get a glass of wine after ordering it. Once food was delivered, waitress did not come back to check on us until we were almost done eating.
I didn't have a good experience this time. Didn't get the seating I requested, other people that got seated after us got served 1st? our food too way too long to come out. The saving grace for this place is location. Right on the river.
Sea Bass special was outstanding as was the ribeye. We will definitely be back. Beautiful bar area on the river in Sacramento.
Scott’s is always great... the food was great, but the service wasn’t quite as good as usual and it was very noisy.
Great food as always
GREAT place to dine. Excellent place to unwind or relax after work. The view is amazingly peaceful
Sunday, after church lunch. Even though it was Super Bowl Sunday it was still pretty quiet. I marked down service one star only because it took a while for our waiter to get to us. I assume he was on break when we sat (we were early after all). Once in the game he was attentive and very professional.
Won’t be back to that particular Scott’s location because I don’t eat with animals. The couple sitting at the table next to us had a small dog underneath the table in the restaurant. I asked the waitress to move us and they did. However I don’t have animals at home and I won’t be paying to dine with any . No sure if dogs in the restaurant with food being served and consumed is a health code violation or not!
We had a wonderful time and meal as we celebrated our 46th Wedding Anniversary.
Everything was perfect, except they don’t know how to make a Moscow Mule, LOL
