Scott's Seafood Grill & Bar - Folsom Ratings and Reviews
I selected Scott's thru TripAdvisor, as being one of the few restaurants in Folsom that offered GF menu items. Wait was just a little too long, considering we had reservations. Food was good, but our server seemed either undertrained, or preoccupied. When she bought my bowl of littleneck clams in sauce, she forgot to bring a bowl to put the empty shells in - inexcusable for a restaurant that claims to be "fine dining."
Dined at Scott’s for a 70th Birthday celebration lunch. Our waiter, Vince, was excellent in his knowledge of the menu, service and friendliness!
The food was delicious and the free birthday dessert was an added bonus! Always my favorite restaurant in town!💜
Have had very good experiences here before, but this time I was really disappointed in the food. I only tasted the scallop appetizer, something seems really off with it. The seafood bisque just seemed like tomato soup....spicy, it was good, just didn't see like it had much of a seafood taste to it if any
Food and service were fantastic. Enjoyed the variety of choices on the menu. Place is a little dated. Tables are placed very close together and we had a loud party next to the two of us. We were out on a romantic date so it was hard to have a quiet conversation. We will be back probably for dinner before a show at Harris Center.
Delicious dinner. GREAT service from Michelle who explained the oyster sampler knowledgeably when we ordered it. She's a real pro, at Scott's for 17 years. Worth the visit here for the fabulous bread. Nice presentation on Pacific Rim Salad with ahi. Water refilled without asking.
Why bother telling OpenTable/Scott's that you have a special occasion? The restaurant totally ignores it. (second time for us).
Waiting area is always crowded and hostess seems overwhelmed. Bad traffic pattern here.
We'll be back for the food and, hopefully, a table in Michelle's section.
I had been looking forward to trying this place for over 10 years, and finally my lovely wife came through with a Groupon that we could not ignore.
It exceeded every possible expectation. Go, go, go....But be sure to use Open Table to make your reservation.
Scott’s is getting a little long in the tooth, but I understand they’re moving next year. The food was tasty, but the ambiance is lacking compared to OAKLAND and/or SF. The waiter was attentive, but didn’t come across as sincere. The cost is on the high side and normally the staff is very warm and friendly.
