Scott's Seafood Grill & Bar - Folsom Ratings and Reviews
Disappointing but not surprised. Is Scott's owned by the same people? I have been to three, here, Berkley and Burlingame and each time it only gets worse. Fish was dry, steak bad, but don't order steak in a seafood place. Soup was water with vegetables. Scott's used to be excellent what happened?
Room needs a little updating - it feels a little run down inside, a little unkempt maybe. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and fun. Price was a little high, but value was still good and one of the few places you can really count on for tasty fish selections.
We had a great time there. Our waitress was extremely patient with us because we took our time talking more than looking at the menu or drink list. My date and I had excellent drinks as well as fantastic meals. We ended up being the last two customers in the restaurant but the staff did not try to kick us out or tell us to leave. All around excellent. Highly recommend Scott’s.
We had oysters at the bar then had dinner it was our anniversary. We do go to Scott's for many special occasions. The food is always great and service is some of the best in the area. Usually my wife orders the halibut but this time she went with the Petrale Sole and now that is her favorite, it was delicious.
Scott's is one of my favorite go to restaurants -- good food, great service, great for a special occasion or a group of friends. I've celebrated my mom's 86th birthday in the private dining room, group of 4 couples for New Year's Day, Easter Brunch, Mother's Day Brunch and celebrating anniversaries and birthdays. It never disappoints.
We came here on New Years Eve. The service was excellent as always, but we were very disappointed in the quality of the food, subpar at best. We’ve been to Scott’s before, but this time it was different. Maybe because it was New Years? Our bill of course was expensive, but not worth it for the quality of the food.
We went to Scott's Seafood and Grill to celebrate New Year's Eve with a memorable dinner. We booked a fairly late 8:30 PM reservation. That timing seemed to be perfect as the restaurant was not quite as crowded and the noise level was minimized. We were able to engage in conversation without having to shout, something that is not always the case in many restaurants these days. We enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio with our ample and delicious servings of Alaskan halibut. The oysters for starters were excellent. We enjoyed our server who engaged with us in a friendly, welcoming manner. A very nice evening!
As all of trips to Scotts/folsom. We had another great dinning experence. Wonderful ambiance, service, food, cocktails. and most of all those oyster's yum yum !!!!!! WE always have had a wonderful time when we have gone Scotts, this time was as wonderful as always.
My second date with my husband was at Scott's. Technically, the first was a walk on the American River Bike trail. We always have a seafood selection. My husband LOVES fish and chips as it is on the crispy side which is his preference. Even during the week there is a crowd dining here so I always make a reservation through Open Table! I also should mention two other observations--the bread is very good and the service is always very, very good. This restaurant has been at this location and is dated inside, but most people care the most about excellent food and service. Scott's fits that criteria.
My favorite "go to" menu item is the Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut. I absolutely love it and it was perfect as usual! Our server, Michelle, was outstanding. Her passion, devotion and enthusiasm to her position was such a delight. A truly amazing girls night out! Thank you
Four of us for Christmas Eve dinner. We had reservations and only waited a short time to be seated which is expected for such a busy evening. Service was impeccable! The food was perfect. Everything was presented as ordered. It just doesn't get any better. Scott's is truly a treasure in Folsom. We will return again and again and from now on make it our Christmas Eve tradition!
Thank you, Scott's! ♥ ♥
I haved dined at this particular Scott’s many, many times. This place is usually spot on. This time was by far the worst service experience I have received. I asked two times for more bread, never did get any, waitress never asked if we would like another glass of wine, and we had to asked another waitress for our bill.
We came to Scott’s for my MIL’s bday. Elizabeth was our server. I used to work with her years ago and hadn’t seen her in about 14 years. What a fantastic surprise! And she hasn’t skipped a beat on her stellar service! Truly. She kept my one and three year old boys occupied, fed and happy so I could eat! They made a huge mess and she didn’t bat an eye. Best dinner experience my family has had since children! Lol
Our waitress was very personable. Kept us informed on the progress of our meals. Restaurant was very busy , she saw that my coffee refill arrived promptly by a designated coffee server, "Johnny on the Spot" I was impressed by the ability to order the salmon well done or medium rare! There will definitely be another visit for another special occasion, which includes a dinner out with friends as well as anniversaries of sorts.
Very nice experience for a late lunch on a Saturday to catch up with a friend. Seated promptly , got a nice window table - knowleable friendly server, who helped us with suggestions and noted dietary restrictions.
Flank steak and cippino were great. Good job!
Went with group of 6. Several had the ahi special, said was delicious. Others got the macadamia nut crusted halibut, which was excellent. Ceasar salad was just ok, dressing little watery but croutons good. Service was spot on and we are very picky! Only thing negative is that the decor should be updated. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good seafood dinner, good drinks and fun atmosphere!
Super friendly staff and server was exceptional.Everything was scrumptious and the bread was fresh (really soft inside and a crunchy crust) and perfect. Hubby had the filet and scallops and referred to his dinner as "awesome!" I had the cioppino and was not disappointed. Celebrated my birthday and enjoyed the berry crumble. We will definitely be back. The only small negative was that they ran out of the beer my husband wanted to reorder.
