We have never been disappointed in the delicious food, superior wait staff and prompt service.
It is always a treat to visit Scott's Bar & Grill.
nice size portion of coho salmon, perfectly cooked. Fish & chips were average; good size portion.
Scott’s is definitely my “go to” pick for good food and great service. However, my most recent visit was a bit disappointing. Service was much slower than usual, and the normal welcoming feel wasn’t there either. None of the staff seemed happy that day. I noticed that my favorite Dijon chicken was a much smaller portion than in the past, and the seasonable veggies seemed to be from a bag. I’m hoping that this was a “one-off” occurrence, and will go back at a different time of the day, to see if I simply came during a shift change or bad time of the day....
Since it was St. Patrick's Day, I made a reservation. We arrived on time for our 7 pm reservation, but it took them 15 minutes to get us seated. After we had been seated. It took another 15 minutes or more to get any drinks or service. It seemed even after we had been waited on that our order was not important to the.
The food was decent. My really liked her cheese burger. My pasta was ok, but not great.
We have dined at Scott's before and really liked it. This time it was not really all that good. It was rather Ho Hum. This was the first date night my wife and I had in a long time and I wanted
it to be special. However, the dinner was not all that special. The rest of the evening was but not this.
Wonderful… Just wonderfully
Out of many beers at 4:00 P M , no really "local brews" such as Diamond Knott, Skookum, Hales, ITS , Salads Excellent, Prime Rib ordered Med Rare but
arrived 70% Med/well 30% Med Rare, Waitress excellent, shared concern over non-med rare prime rib but no offer of offset or replacement....Potatoes stiff like colcannon, Steamed Broccoli
mushy...possible holdovers from lunch.... As usual nice atmosphere....
Great salad selections that aren't just the run of the mill. Great service, always attentive. It can be a bit difficult to hear your companions when the restaurant is busy. Great french onion soup!
Crab stuffed sole was tender & tasty, as was the Parm chicken, large portion. Restaurant accommodates requests for sides substitution. Good service.
Our family has been going to Scott's for years. We enjoy all the menu specials and the food is generally amazing. For lunch I recently ordered their typically amazing Tomato Bisque. I think the recipe must've changed since I ordered it last. It was disappointing. Everything else, including the service, were exceptional as usual.
Food was very good . Lights way too bright for any real atmosphere , waiter slow but nice
Always a good meal
We went there for my birthday and it was,our first time. The ambiance, service, noise level, seating was very good, comfortable and we enjoyed our dinner. I made our reservation on Open Table and I'm glad I did. When we got there at 7:30 For dinner on a Weds night there was a 20 min wait. But we didn't have to. The only thing I was bummed about is they ran out of Prime rib and the chocolate cake was too sweet and rich for me. But everything was excellent.
Our experience at Scotts was great. They were really busy, but we were seated quickly in a nice booth. The service was excellent. They took our order promptly, and the food arrived much sooner than we expected. The server was friendly and really efficient with any request we had. The prime rib dinner was especially good. We will return!
We usually enjoy Scott's, but they had an off night. Poorly trained waiter and food was mediocre at best. Big disappointment for a restaurant that is usually reliable. Bummer.
Normally we have good food and service here but it’s usually just my husband and I. On this occasion we had 7 in our party and they just couldnt handle it. We were seated at 6:15 and ordered within about 30 minutes One in our party had an 8pm appointment just about 5 minutes away. At 7:30 we asked about our food and they said it would be just a few more minutes. Unfortunately it was even longer so he had to have it brought with a box and package it up to go right away. We all waited even longer for the rest of ours but mine, which all I had was the steak blue cheese salad was another 5 minutes after everyone else’s. The food was all good though.
Great experience. Our waiter was excellent!!! His name was Thomas. He greeted us with a big smile and was very attentive!
Highly recommend Scott's!
Wonderful service and amazing food....the best
A casual dining experience with above average food quality. The chefs are showcased for all to see as they prepare your food. IMO, kitchen needs to be of higher quality appearance. Kind of a diner/cafe feel in it's present state. Good was good. Had the surf and turf. The ribeye was perfect. For some reason that cut is hard to cook correctly in many other restaurants. So much I hesitate to even order it. Scott's has it nailed. The hand shredded horseradish (like shredded carrots) was perfect. The shrimp however was over steamed. Would've been better grilled. Restaurant used to have white table cloths for that nice upscale feel but for some reason not used anymore. Furnishings are showing their age. Definitely needs an update.
Our last two visits have convinced us that Scott's pricing, value, quality and service surpass other restaurants in Edmonds for our taste and budget. If this continues they have our business, but if it declines we are gone.
We had the absolute worst waiter. We saw him twice the whole time. We had to get our own water, salads took almost 30 minutes from time of ordering and the food was cold. I was a waitress in college and this guy's service was abominable! This job is NOT a good fit for him.
On the positive side, the hostesses and the manager were amazing. They comped our meals, kept checking with us and apologized profusely. We will definitely come back but will ask to have a different waiter!
My husband's ribeye meal was amazing, perfectly done. My pesto pasta was good but not super flavorful. We also had the coconut prawns which were very good. Our service was lacking. Our server was pleasant but very slow to bring the bill, bring our leftovers, and I never received a water refill so had to drink my husband's. However, he sure was quick to spend plenty of time with the attractive woman behind us.
Food took an hour to arrive but they did not charge us for our meals.
Most recent visit was a special occasion, best friend's son was in town. Food was great, service was great, we stayed long but our waiter never rushed us. We always enjoy Scott's. Worth the trip from Whidbey Island.
Always good food and friendly, helpful servers. We enjoy coming here for special occaisions.
Great for a date night out, Valentine's Day, or an anniversary. A little pricey, but it was a Valentine's treat for me and my boyfriend. The ribeye he ordered, however, was 7 oz instead of 10 oz as advertised. Just the same, great ambience and service.
I have loved Scott's for a long time. The food is amazing and the service was fantastic as well. Job well done.
Prime rib was gristle. Broccoli was Gray and overdone. Had to ask for butter, lemon, s&p, mashed potatoes just OK. Steelhead very good. Peas salad, blue cheese salad good. Drinks OK.
Waitress a little disinterested. Service in bar was great.
First time in many years. Not as good as it used to be. Probably will patronize other Restaurants Unltd. instead .
We love this place!! It is our new place to go for special occasions!! Dillon is a wonderful and personable waiter!
The food was excellent and our server Julie was very nice, pleasant and helpful. I had decaf coffee and my cup never went empty. Our waters were always topped off as well. I am looking forward to coming back.
They were out of Rack of Lamb on their special menue at 7:00pm on Valentine's Day.
They was out of a brand of wine that my wife usually orders there.
They was out of bread baskets because it was busy.
A bit disappointing on this very special day and I was not really impressed with their Tamahawk Pork chop which at $27 you would expect better and I am usually very easy to please.
Oh yes, and my wife had to send her salmon back because it was overcooked.
Overall, it was a Valentine's Day Flop at Scott's Bar & Grill this year...
Appetizers and salads arrived together after a wait...... all good food
Maddy our waitress made the whole meal very enjoyable (she even gave us a suggestion to re-heating our leftovers). The vegetables on my entrée were terrible and for the cost of the meal that is not good. Chef's need to be a little neater in their presentation on the plate.
Good menus. Good prices and excellent service. The ambiance not so good and the noise level a bit too high for me but I would return.
My husband and I came for any early Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was busy (we had a resveration) and we were seated timely. Every employee we saw greeted us warmly with a smile.
We could see the restaurant filling up and our server let us know our food was taking a little longer than normal. No big deal. Appreciated him communicating with us. Our server regularly checked on us and did a great job. Food was delicious!
I ordered the prime rig "medium rare" and it was a bit rare. I did not want to fuss or say anything since I was with a date.
We have love Scott’s for years… It is a “go to” place for dinner! Always delicious, always great service! We love Scott’s!
All good. The food was just what I expected and we had terrific service.
Good food, fairly priced with excellent service - covers all of the bases!
Very Good as Always! Steak Salad was fresh and delicious. I consider Scotts as one of the very BEST Dinner Salad places.
Came for dinner, but Happy Hours are better.
Vegetables were spongy, not attractive, swimming in kitchen liquid (?), black rice - hard, should be mixed with other grain rice. Vegetables appear to get complaints from others.
Price wise, quite 'over priced' for quantity/quality (by 25%). It would be nice if side salad included in price.
