My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to try Scott's for lunch. Everything was just perfect. We had a wonderful time.
Scott's was very attentive to quality and value for Seattle Restaurant Week. I enjoyed the experience and got to know a restaurant I may not have chosen previously.
We both enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich and it was delicious!
This is always a great place to go for Birthdays and celebrations. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly.
We felt safe and relaxed. Server staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent
as usual, food was prepared and presented with great care service is always first rate - helpful but not overbearing COVID requirements fully followed wine selection was adequate but could improve thanks as usual for making it relaxing and pleasant
Pretty loud in there . Meal was ok but the Brussels sprouts were terrible . I think a salad or dessert should have been included with Easter brunch .
"Jail broke" our Mom from the independent living retirement community where she lives and took her here for Easter Sunday Brunch.
Having said that - the waiter we had, Jacob, did an EXCELLENT job. HE gets 5 stars.
The food, however, gets one star. It wasn't that great considering the price. The tall guy at the front desk was a tad surly. We had a reservation for 10:30 and arrived on time but they were not ready for any of the folks that had a reservation at that time. But I digress. The food was blah at best. My sister ordered a scrambled egg breakfast that was supposed to come with potatoes and she had to ask for them! They finally arrived. BUT - the potatoes were obviously from a frozen variety. Small portions for the amount of money charged. The poached eggs were supposed to be medium (runny yolks, solid whites) but they weren't. The whites were runny and they yolks were bordering on hard cooked. The english muffin on the eggs benedict were hard and rubbery at the same time. Small portions (not that we need a ton of food but given the prices - yeah, no) for the price but apparently a step above the food at the retirement community because Mom ate it all.
We did have other options but it was close to where our Mom lives so it made sense but we won't be making that mistake again with this restaurant. One and done. We won't be back.
Scott’s never disappoints. Their staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, there’s never any rush, and the food is always good.
It was a great day to celebrate a birthday at Scotts. Our server was wonderful, attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. The food was yummy as usual. Due to the pandemic some of the regular items were not available on the menu, but there was plenty of selection. Scott's has been consistent for years, I will be back.
Wonderful as usual. Tables were well spaced, service was good (all masked) and the food was delicious.
First I think the pics online make this place look much nicer than it is. They took us to the covered patio that was so noisy we could not hear each other talk. Also at a wobbly table that would have been impossible to sit at without being annoyed. So they moved us to a different table in the noisy patio. We then ended looking at the bar inside and ending up moving to the bar which was much more quite. Food ok but nothing special. I dont see us going back
Always has had very good food and is still has very good food. Nice enjoyable dinner.
Food was nothing special, small portions (salad), and overpriced. Have had better sandwiches at lunches for far less money. Meat was under seasoned.
My friend and I ate in the lounge. Nice spacing of tables, staff observing protocols.
Prices have gone up a bit, to be expected.
Food is always great.
Food is always good at this establishment. Unfortunately, the menu is presently limited due to the pandemic. Their meatloaf dinner, for example, is not available.
No free dessert anymore
Scotts Bar & Grill is my go to place! I love it there. The staff is always friendly, the food awesome, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
The wait staff has been excellent on the last two visits. Great hires
It was very good food and service. I had the lavender Cosmo and the filet mignon. Yummy🙂
Celebrating a friend’s birthday
Always enjoy Scott's. Very good, and very adequate food selection and priced well. Service is always very good with friendly, helpful wait-staff.
We have eaten here several times and have had a good experience but this time was very disappointing. We had reservations for 4:45. The restaurant was not very busy at all. The first sign was the hostess trying to seat the two of us at the absolute worst table in the entire restaurant. A two top that was under a bright light, against a wall, right next to the stairs and staring at the waitstaff's computer station. I asked to be seated at an empty four top in a little better location and was met with resistance but she did decide to let us have it. I wish I had asked her if she would have sat at that first table....
The French dip was tasteless and looked like the meat had been steamed. It was gross. Our waiter got so involved in chit chatting with another table that he totally ignored us. I had to ask another waiter for bbq sauce and then again for more water. As a result, we won't be back.
Our waiter was so attentive! We had a great time and will go back again!!
Service was fabulous, everyone was social distanced and it was a great safe and comfortable evening.
The waitress was excellent. We never had to ask for coffee or water refill. Great attitude, professional and attentive.
As always the service was very good as was the food. They also are very accommodating
when it came to a special request. I sometimes have an issue with nuts. There was no problem when I asked if it was possible to have the scallops without the almond crusting.
My server even let me know when there was a delay since they had to defrost some additional non breaded scallops to accommodate my request. I do miss some of the ambiance because of the Covid practices but outside of that (which I am more than fine with) it was overall a pleasant experience.
Some items may seem a bit pricey but the quality of the food, preparation and portion size more than balances it out.
I can recommend the tomato basil soup whole heartily as well as several other dishes that are part of the main, core menu. The oven roasted chicken is all ways a fave, along with the ribs, and french dip (prime roast dip) to name just a few.
I've been going to Scott's Bar & Grill longer than I'm willing to admit, and it has rarely let me down over the decades. This past visit was the exception. We went specifically for the Prime Rib dinner and the quality of the cut of meat was extremely disappointing. Stringy, tough, fatty, full of gristle, and lacking in flavor, it was close to inedible. Not something I will order again for some time. I will still suggest Scott's to friends, but I will discourage anyone from ordering the prime rib until the quality of the cut is vastly improved.
First time dining in a restaurant in over a year. It was a delight. Scott’s has been our go-to place for our birthday lunch and business confab for many years.
Great place to eat.
Prime Rib and Scallops were delicious. Disappointed with limited menu and condiments. No Baked Potato. No French Onion soup. Excellent server.
We ask to sit outside, but no heaters were turned on so we had to ask if we could have one turned on. Our waiter forgot we were out there so forgot to come take out order. My husband had prime rib which was very good and ask for a box for his leftovers and then had to ask for a container for the Au Jux. Instead of the waiter getting him a fresh container he just gave him something to pour it in himself. I had Fish and Chips and also had leftover but no Tartar was offered to take home. Also we were just handed boxes to take care of our own leftovers. We have been coming to Scott's for over 30 years and have always spoken very highly of our dining experience. This was not our best visit ever. Because of Covid we have not been eating out as often as before, so that made the experience even more disappointing.
We've always had a good experience with food, drinks and service at Scott's.
The food and service at Scott's is always exceptional. This restaurant is highly recommended.
Restaurant was upbeat and friendly, clean. Waiter was excellent! Food was great. Very happy!
Great food and service. Our meal was very well prepared.
Felt very COVID safe. 😋
The only problem was that at the end of the meal, the server asked if we interested in the dinner club. I said "Sure" and she handed me a brochure. After you join they welcome you with a $25 dinner gift certificate. What we weren't told is that it costs $25 to join, it was just added to our bill. Scott's is one of only 3 places in the Washington. You can also use it to earn points for hotels, but most are Calif or East Coast. So I called from home and they removed the charge, but it should be more clear upfront.
Scott’s is always good! I was happy to e able to go back there finally, after all this time with Covid!
Great food, good social distancing.
It’s great to be able to go out to eat again. They captured the flavors of the south well except for the pecan pie which I would suggest avoiding.
