We have always liked Scott’s. Steve the manager does a great job welcoming you. Thanks. Jim P
Good food and service for lunch on the covered patio. Good value for food, service and ambiance. Have come here over the years and will continue to visit.
Our experience and meal was good. we'll be back again soon
Due to COVID restrictions the staffing is limited as is seating as is the menu. Sadly, one of my very favorite dishes - the open-faced Dungeness crab & artichoke sandwich is not on the current menu. But the French dip remains a a good standby! The Key Lime Pie was not up to standards. I don't know if it had been thawed improperly but the graham cracker crust was watery. Still, it was delightful to be able to patronize Scott's once again!
We had gift cards and had not been there before. We went for an early dinner (4:00 pm) . Service was great ! Food was fabulous and a good value for the price. Decent wine, beer and cocktail selection. I will go there again.
I don't know it Scotts was having an off day.
1. Ordered a Lavender Cosmo 20 min later the waitress said we are out of lavender?
2. My Mom ordered BBQ Ribs 45 min later we all get our food except for my Mom were out of BBQ Ribs? Are food was cold and it just wasn't a great experience.
glad to be back dine inside.
Love this restaurant
Great food and the French onion soup is one of the very best.
Scotts has been a neighborhood favorite for our family. Recognizing that it has been a tough time combined with the conversation to Landries it feels like a work in progress. The food is a little off, not quite the quality. It was a little surprising that at 6pm they were out some menu selections. The server did a fine job. While our visit was ok we will come back and hope for some of the "Old Scott's" has returned.
Mother’s Day. Great experience. Great service. Wonderful.
Thank you for a nice Mother's Day experience the day prior. We enjoyed out time there immensely.
Food and service were great but they screwed up on our meal to bring home.
Dining during Covid is aleays a challenge. We had nice experience at Scott’s. Delicious, casual anddd really good service
The food was very good, the outdoor covered seating was not fantastic but understandable with the COVID restrictions. The service was excellent.
Thank you for your careful protocols. Keep up the good work! I forgot to mention my long life as a teacher for the 15% discount because I was so attentive to all that you folks were doing!!Glad to be back.
Birthday. They split both the taco plate and the key lime pie.
service was bad
waited a long time for every order
had to ask three times to bring another bread
Got a bit windy outside in evening, but otherwise great food and experience
Food was good and service was on par with top rated restaurants. Overall a good value for new experience, although not going to be a memorable experience.
We came in for the restaurant week special. The prime rib was unusually gristly and lukewarm. It was difficult to cut through, not up to par with prior Scott's meals. Otherwise it was a good experience. We will return.
We have been fans for decades of Scott's Bar and Grill- business lunches, dates, family celebrations, holiday lunches.
Unfortunately, we were greatly disappointed with the prime rib's quality- it was filled with gristle and tough- unable to eat 3/4 of it. Chicken on special was ok. Salad was very good and crab appetizer was great. Bread was tasty. Red wine was good. Desserts were exceptional.
One meal came out cold and other hot so we ate our meals separately-not what we hoped for for our "date night". Jacob Lovell, our waiter was great. He was personable, attentive and professional. He did take the Prime Rib off the bill which was fine.
We understand that it was a special meal at reduced pricing but we were thinking it would reconnect us with our Scott's experience. Hmmm?
Ordered the Asiago-crusted sole and the prime rib. Both were delicious and our server was wonderful
Great food and service, as always! Looking forward to when brunch returns!
Food was great as usual, but service was mediocre. Server was not friendly at all and did not smile once. We also mentioned it was someone’s big 60th birthday, but there was not a single mention of saying happy birthday or anything like that. The next day we went to a different restaurant because we were so disappointed with the lack of celebration we received at Scott’s, and they gave us a free dessert and the server came and said happy birthday to us.
We were meeting friends we haven't seen in a year. The waiter seemed to hurry us to order by asking us too often. Our water's were never refreshed. I had the oven roasted chicken dijon. It was good, but not great. I was looking for a healthy option and didn't want salmon that day. The chicken seemed more like it had been grilled and was a little dry. I think they were out of practice. One of my party was a bit annoying, trying to get something that wasn't on the menu and the waiter had a hard time understanding what he wanted. It seemed more our friends issue than the waiter, though neither seemed to be able to let it go so it became a little uncomfortable.
I'll come back and try it again, maybe order a salad.
My wife and I had an enjoyable birthday dinner. However, the potatoes in my clam chowder were crunchy.
Birthday dinner. I like the new area in the back. Food was decent efficient staff was great.
Excellent tasting food. Friendly service. We went on Restaurant Week/month and the price was good. Nice atmosphere.
we love Scotts, it is in our hood and we go often.
Great place for a Birthday treat. Good food and Clean environment.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to try Scott's for lunch. Everything was just perfect. We had a wonderful time.
Scott's was very attentive to quality and value for Seattle Restaurant Week. I enjoyed the experience and got to know a restaurant I may not have chosen previously.
Been here several times, notibly this was a Friday night at 7 and they were busy. Service was slow and despite the new seating separations other tables were quite loud and felt much closer than they were. Service was slow and they got our orders wrong. I wasn't impressed by the visit; debateable on whether to return or not.
We both enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich and it was delicious!
This is always a great place to go for Birthdays and celebrations. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly.
We felt safe and relaxed. Server staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent
as usual, food was prepared and presented with great care service is always first rate - helpful but not overbearing COVID requirements fully followed wine selection was adequate but could improve thanks as usual for making it relaxing and pleasant
Pretty loud in there . Meal was ok but the Brussels sprouts were terrible . I think a salad or dessert should have been included with Easter brunch .
"Jail broke" our Mom from the independent living retirement community where she lives and took her here for Easter Sunday Brunch.
Having said that - the waiter we had, Jacob, did an EXCELLENT job. HE gets 5 stars.
The food, however, gets one star. It wasn't that great considering the price. The tall guy at the front desk was a tad surly. We had a reservation for 10:30 and arrived on time but they were not ready for any of the folks that had a reservation at that time. But I digress. The food was blah at best. My sister ordered a scrambled egg breakfast that was supposed to come with potatoes and she had to ask for them! They finally arrived. BUT - the potatoes were obviously from a frozen variety. Small portions for the amount of money charged. The poached eggs were supposed to be medium (runny yolks, solid whites) but they weren't. The whites were runny and they yolks were bordering on hard cooked. The english muffin on the eggs benedict were hard and rubbery at the same time. Small portions (not that we need a ton of food but given the prices - yeah, no) for the price but apparently a step above the food at the retirement community because Mom ate it all.
We did have other options but it was close to where our Mom lives so it made sense but we won't be making that mistake again with this restaurant. One and done. We won't be back.
Update from my previous review:
The owner (??)/manager called me the week after Easter to apologize which is appreciated. However, still won't be back. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice....not going to happen.
Using the Covid as an excuse is not excusable and just that, an excuse. This is the time when customer service should be outstanding, not mediocre.
Scott’s never disappoints. Their staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, there’s never any rush, and the food is always good.
