Scott's Bar & Grill
Restaurant wasn't busy, took 20 min for someone to take our order, another 40+ min to receive our food. Part of the fish in the fish & chips was still raw. The 12 oz Prime Rib had 6 oz of fat gristle in it. Asked up front when waiter was taking order to put on separate checks. Had to ask again when he brought one bill. Took 20 min to box up the left overs and fix the bill.
Great location, good service and excellent food. We even ran into old friends there for lunch which was a pleasant surprise. Attractive decor and good ambience!
We made a reservation for New Year's Eve. We don't go here very often but it is familiar to us. When we got there, we were told their "reservations were running a bit late".
What even is that?
To quote Seinfeld: Anyone can take a reservation. What matters is holding the reservation!
The girl didn't seem particularly apologetic. She didn't offer any remuneration. A free appetizer would have gone a LONG way.
Beyond that, everything was expensive. We knew that going in, but it's worth emphasizing.
My review is just short of Outstanding, but only because it was New Years Eve. Actually, for New Years Eve, it was Outstanding. The Grill was packed with people waiting, yet they managed to get people seated in a timely manner. The food was excellent despite it being a full house and the service from greeting to serving was with a smile and exceptional. My friend and I each had delicious dinners and a wonderful evening. Scott's was the perfect choice for us to end the year and begin the New Year on a happy note.
Our waiter was very good. Very personable.
Every item on this menu is delicious! We've been enjoying this location since it was Clinkerdagger Bickerstaff & Pett's, 30+ years!
Amazing dinner! Smoked steak was delicious will get again! Wonderful birthday dinner
Got great service from Hosts, Bartender & Server. Nice Happy Anniversary Card in table when we arrived. Great Food! Was hoping a dessert would’ve been offered for our Anniversary. But I get it...It was Christmas Night. But regardless...Will definitely come back!
Food and service were great. The table however was in a bad location. It was at the top of a short set of stairs that was very high traffic. Bright lights shining down and AC blowing directly onto us made it even more uncomfortable.
SB&G is an old favorite, a neighborhood gem between Shoreline and Edmonds. We love the early bird special (salad+entree+dessert) for less than a regularly priced entree. Their prime rib and crab artichoke dip are legendary.
Great holiday dinner and scallops and I love the scallop potatoes!
Never disappoints, always good service and great food. On this trip, we had the French Dip and Maple Chicken Salad. Tasty and dependable food. Great place to take family or guests for a relaxed and comfortable place to eat and talk.
Always great service and food. Outstanding value; don't change a thing!
Nana got her Christmas Duck and the veggie/ vegan family were very happy with Brussel Sprout/Cauli Roast (hold the bacon) appetizer, delicious and substantial salads and scrumptious mushroom pizza! Biegnets with topped off the meal. Very friendly and attentive service! We'll be back! Thank you for the lovely Christmas meal.
Food was great, service was excellent, guys in the kitchen were awesome they were fast preparing the foods since our table was looking over kitchen it was kind of entertaining to watch those guys and I do appreciate how they were handling the food since I have had restaurant experience it reminded me my old days. Thank you.
Services were extremely slow on Dec. 18, 2018. We had to wait for 40 minutes for our main dish after appetizers
This neighborhood gem is a favorite of ours. We eat here at least four times a month. The early dining menu where you get a three course meal for approx, 22 bucks is a bargain. The bread is to die for.
Chrissy and I had a lovely lunch, she had the prime rib dip, and I had the chicken Dijon mayonnaise.
I absolutely love the brussel sprouts! Our waitress was so fun and helpful. We will come back next week.
Haven't been to Scott's in a while but found the service, the menu options and the atmosphere just as nice as on our last visit
Superb service! Great good!
This is a good spot to stop in between King and Snohomish counties. It’s part of a larger group of restaurants. Food is formulaic.
Christmas w grandparents. Electricity went out. Had to leave mid meal.
Showed up at 5:30 on. Weds. Night with the foyer overflowing. The gal at the front desk told me there was an hour-long wait. So I opened up my Open Table app and booked a table for 5:45.
I think with this kind of volume, tho, the kitchen is forced just to push food out. It was OK but not $100 good (Dinner for two, 1 drink each).
Had late lunch, restaurant was fairly quiet and very romantic! Food was as always awesome! I had the chicken Dijon and Jim had crab sandwich! Love the wait staff!
Arrived at 6:30 on a Tuesday night and service was incredibly slow. Our food was sitting out for 10 minutes and cold, but service never came back to check. Food was fair.
When we arrived we were told by the manager that they no longer accepted Open Table reservations. They instructed me to contact you as they said they would not honor my reservation or points, although my phone clearly stated I had a current reservation. Please help sort this out. Laura Chase
Pesto fettuccine with added prawns very good.
Turkey San was fresh & good.
Experienced a glitch, sent a note to Scott’s, no response; my take is they don’t care.
Otherwise everything else was fine.
We had made a reservation the day before for 8 on Sunday at 12. It was NOT crowded. We had to wait for 10 minutes to set the table. It took over an hour to receive our cheeseburgers, French toast and French dip. We had to ask for water refills, coffee refills, pop refills. It was frustrating as we couldn’t figure out why it took forever because it was so quiet. The kids were hungry and their patience was gone . When the food arrived it was very good. We ate quickly and scooted out. The server was quiet and did not seemed concerned about much.
We went to Scott's for dinner on Thanksgiving, and our party of six was very favorably impressed. I am in a cast and need to keep my leg elevated and the staff went out of there way to make accommodations for me by arranging for us to have a secluded table with plenty of room. Our table was made available early and my wife and I were seated before the rest of the party arrived, at my request. Table service was quick and efficient, the food was delicious, and prices were appropriate for the high quality of our dining experience.
Nice atmosphere. Great Food. A little pricey, but we ate there on Thanksgiving and they had a special menu for that day. Our waiter was nice and checked on us regularly. Would go back.
Thanksgivings with a special friend I hadn’t seen for many year! Scott’s made it “The Best Thanksgiving Ever” for both of us. Awesome food I had prime rib, Jim had filet and prawns!
Our server Dylan was phenomenal so sweet always smiling taking such good care of us!
We ate at Scotts Bar and Grill for Thanksgiving. Our wait was minimal and the service was prompt once we were seated. The food was good and the only issue was that it that my plate was on the cooler side. My husband had the prime rib instead of the turkey plate that I had. Other than that everything was perfect. We will most likely eat here again.
Our party visited Thanksgiving Day, and enjoyed it very much. My traditional turkey dinner was moist and delicious. My companions got the salmon, which was perfectly cooked, and the slightly overcooked pork chop. The service and ambience were exemplary. We will definitely return!
My family is getting older and smaller. No one wanted to cook this year for Thankgiving. I suggested Scotts because they always have good food. My family was still hesitant. We got there and all of us were greeted with great service. Our server was totally awesome. We received our drinks quickly. Everyone seemed organized and happy. The food was delicious! We all skipped eating before so we would be extra hungry and still had leftovers! Definitely worth the money! My aunt said this is our new family tradition.
Food was very good. Four people shared appetizers and dinner. All of them were excellent. My friends appraised how good they were.
Likely our last brunch at Scott’s. We are frequent diners at Scott’s and will continue to come for lunch and dinner. But this was our third consecutive brunch with food issues and service challenges. Server brought water and coffee. The did not come take our order for 15 minutes. Only 4 other tables as we got there right at opening so not sure what took so long. Three who had French toast are the reason the food score is higher. It was good. Prime rib hash was sitting in a pool of liquid and eggs were requested scrambled but came over poached. Egg scramble so dry with congealed cheese on the top instead of mixed in so it was inedible. Had to remind waiter three times for a sauce requested. So we will be sticking to dinners here. (They did comp the scramble when he saw I couldn’t eat it). Disappointing
All was enjoyable however why was the food served cold?
Group of 6 celebrating birthday, great service, accommodating to special diets.
Scott's never disappoints! We love the atmosphere and food so much! The hostess is always gracious and happy, our server was so sweet took our photo's twice. We had the salad trio and panko chicken breast dinner. My favorite is always the hand made margarita's.
We'll be back
