We had a wonderful meal. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. It was a really enjoyable evening.
always our go to spot. consistent quality every time
The problem was entirely Open Table. The reservation process was awkward, and I tried to use an Open Table dining reward, which didn’t work. Huge Open Table fail!
Scott’s is going to make it up to me, which is why I will keep going there for special occasions. I just won’t book through Open Table again. Also, if you can use your points for anything other than dining rewards, I would recommend doing so.
This is in our neighborhood and we've frequented Scotts for many years. We both ordered the sea scallops and found the almond crust to be way too heavy for the delicate flavor of the scallops. The portion was large and the cook time was perfect, but In the end, we scrapped off the crust and ate the scallops with a squeeze of fresh lemon. I could have done this at home for one third of the price we paid . My guess is that they started using the almond crust for those with gluten free needs and it can work if you don't mind the change in taste.
Our server was wonderful. The food was delicious.
I love Scott’s. I used to go there years ago and just recently ‘remembered ‘ it. I took the family and my young millennials gave it a thumbs up so it is spanning generations.
Almond Scallops were good; large serving. Trio salad was disappointing; green salad with blue cheese, green pea salad which was very good and sesame chicken salad with more greens and a few long dry shreds of chicken. Overall this trio salad has a lot of lettuce. Seems a chicken salad would be so much more interesting with more of a chicken base such as a Tarragon Chicken Salad. But then lettuce is much cheaper.
Seeing an old friend for lunch.. we had the best handshake and margaritas ever! Been ordered our lunch starting with the bread that is so wonderful! I had the chicken Dijon I love it, my one girlfriend had put chop chop salad and Terry my girlfriend had the soup and prime rib dip sandwich combo. We finished it off with Keylime pie!
We had never been to Scott’s until Saturday night but knew it was part of the Restaurants Unlimited group which has always had great food. My concern was accessibility because I had knee surgery the week before. We were greeted at the door by a young man who held the door open for us. He asked if I was able to climb two stairs to get us to the quiet table I had requested on the reservation. We realized that this is a much more lively restaurant, but we were seated in the corner away from the mainstream of the noise. As we sat down, the waiter offered us a free crab dip appetizer. We were glad we had not refused as this was the best we had ever tasted. The rest of the food experience matched this, with each of the four of us enjoying our choices of fresh fish, scallops, prime rib and steak salad. This was our first, but will not be our last visit here.
Food was ok
Great service. Table was ready when we arrived. Food was pretty good, not stellar or outstanding but nicely done. I’d return.
We were there after the lunch rush on a Saturday. It was quiet and service was great. The only reason I marked down on value was because I was overcharged for my scallops dish and didn't realize it until after I was home. The price on the receipt is not what is shown on the menu.
Good food and services are great.
Only problem is parking.
Nice dinner with my family.
Very dissatisfied with our meal. We were seated by the party room, which meant a gust of cold air blew on us every minute throughout out visit as guests and waiters repeatedly entered and exited the room. The food was mediocre at best. The prime rib was not cooked to ordered, the shirmp tasted old and rubbery, the salad was very generic. The raspberry cheesecake was good. Service lacked so much that the guests next to us had to go to the bar to get their drinks. Overall the evening was a miserable experience.
I love Scott's. I've been coming to Scott's for over 30 years. The food is always good the service is good and friendly and the atmosphere is always upbeat.. Try the calamari! ask for extra sauce on it .. I visit just for this appetizer and I live about 30 miles away. It's always worth the trip.
Valentine's day was clearly overbooked and in spite of reservations, waited 30 minutes to be sat. Temporary waitstaff seemed unprepared. To accommodate the surge of business the patio area was screened off and radiant heaters provided some level of comfort. Most customers ate with their coats on. Little things make the difference between an OK restaurant and a good restaurant. The prime rib was served, but without a meat knife. The table was not arranged for the number of guests seated.
Love the friendly servers at Scott’s. They always treat us with respect.
Good is excellent the noise level was so loud it was difficult to have normal conversation
prime rib is lack of seasoning. key lime pie is my favorite!
Food took over an hour with no acknowledgement from staff of a delay
Terrible experience. Sent an email to Scott’s. It got no response. They did not have open table reservation, said the systems don’t talk. Given wrong menus, salad came out before appetizer. Food was awful. Had to send mine back. Dessert came before the dinner plates were cleared. Cost of my dinner was removed. Meat was raw, then microwaved. Potato’s cold, veg cold. Filet was swimming in gravy. Scalloped potatos were green and cold. Very unpleasant experience. Will never go back or recommend to my one.
We had to wait 35 minutes after our reservation to be seated. The hostesses did tell us they were running 15-20 minutes behind on their reservations. Our entrees came halfway through my daughter’s salad and my appetizer came after I had finished my entree. My entree (smoked tomahawk pork chop) was really good although was pretty small for the price. They did comp me my appetizer since it was so late but I would have thought that they would have offered something for the late seating of our reservation. Overall can only give him 2 stars.
We love Scott's for special events, such as birthdays, as they can accommodate fairly large parties and the servers are friendly and efficient. The food is consistently good, as well.
We had reservations for 6:15 PM, arrived 5 minutes early and waited until 6:50 PM to be seated. Food was good as well as waitress.
Very nice! When I arrived they saw it was a business lunch on open table and suggested they’d seat me in a quieter area! So sweet!
This was our second time at Scott’s in a month and both times our order took over 45 minutes. People literally came in after us and were done eating by the time we got our food. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary. It must have been our bad luck for it to happen twice.
always good. consistent without being over the top.
You can never go wrong at Scott's - food & service is great and always consistent - I love that the kitchen is so accomodating, thank you chefs! It's one of the last restaurants standing that really takes care of the customer, kind of 'old school' and we love that. Also love the rewards program.
THANK YOU, SCOTTS!
So disappointed in the worlds smallest sundae! They changed from a real hot fudge sauce to a crappy chocolate syrup. Not sure if temporary but definitely not to my liking.
Restaurant wasn't busy, took 20 min for someone to take our order, another 40+ min to receive our food. Part of the fish in the fish & chips was still raw. The 12 oz Prime Rib had 6 oz of fat gristle in it. Asked up front when waiter was taking order to put on separate checks. Had to ask again when he brought one bill. Took 20 min to box up the left overs and fix the bill.
Great location, good service and excellent food. We even ran into old friends there for lunch which was a pleasant surprise. Attractive decor and good ambience!
Our meal was good and we enjoyed lunch with our friend. We come to Scott's on a regular basis.
We made a reservation for New Year's Eve. We don't go here very often but it is familiar to us. When we got there, we were told their "reservations were running a bit late".
What even is that?
To quote Seinfeld: Anyone can take a reservation. What matters is holding the reservation!
The girl didn't seem particularly apologetic. She didn't offer any remuneration. A free appetizer would have gone a LONG way.
Beyond that, everything was expensive. We knew that going in, but it's worth emphasizing.
My review is just short of Outstanding, but only because it was New Years Eve. Actually, for New Years Eve, it was Outstanding. The Grill was packed with people waiting, yet they managed to get people seated in a timely manner. The food was excellent despite it being a full house and the service from greeting to serving was with a smile and exceptional. My friend and I each had delicious dinners and a wonderful evening. Scott's was the perfect choice for us to end the year and begin the New Year on a happy note.
Our waiter was very good. Very personable.
Every item on this menu is delicious! We've been enjoying this location since it was Clinkerdagger Bickerstaff & Pett's, 30+ years!
Stuffed prawns over cooked after wateres brought the wrong coconut prawns. Should have kept the misstake it would have been better.
Amazing dinner! Smoked steak was delicious will get again! Wonderful birthday dinner
