The product driven menu changes seasonally focusing on the purity and quality of local ingredients and sustainable farming wherever possible which gives us the ability to create many styles of rustic European cuisine.
Our hearts will always be in Scotland so we will have our famous Scotch Eggs, Haddock n' Chips and Bangers, to name a few, all year round.
Our wine list was carefully crafted focusing on Old World Vintages, over 100 single malts, award winning cocktails and plenty of excellent local and European pints.
Proud to support Hinkebein Hills Farm. Farrar Out Farms. Jones Heritage and Greg Pusczek to name a few.
And, don't miss Sunday Brunch with our famous Bloody Mary Bar, Endless Mimosas, Fresh Squeezed OJ.
Great food. Great service. Best Scotch Eggs I have ever had. I will make a return trip the next time I am in St. Louis.
An interesting (and quite good) brunch experience. I'd like to return again to sample the Whisky selection.
The Shepherds’s pie Was delicious. Paired with one of their excellent cocktails and the rarebit appetizer made for an excellent meal. We willl be back
While I enjoyed a dean of whiskey and my friend a nice beer, we were particularly impressed with the food. There were 4 of us and awe all ordered something different — Shepard’s pie, bore ragout, a seafood kettle (it had a better name), and I had the chicken korma. Everything was delicious and filling, but the seafood kettle less filling than the others. I have a bunch of food allergies and spoke with one of the chefs before we arrived and she was extremely helpful and it worked out great! We were in and out in about 1:15 and had plenty of time to get to the show at the Fox. It was a great night! Thanks!
Always great food. Service was excellent. And who doesn’t love booze?
What a delightful celebration we had at the Scottish Arms! Our server was knowledgeable and patient—and made terrific suggestions. The whiskey flights and cocktail were perfect—and we all enjoyed our varied appetizers and dinners. It was a great choice for our daughter’s 25th birthday!
You cannot beat the bottomless mimosas deal. Also, the breakfast pasty was delcious.
Good experience at the SA. As usual, the atmosphere lives up to the name and you feel like you have entered a small pub with nice dining facilities. Food is always very good, though this time the Fish and Chips was a bit disappointing from a flavor standpoint. Beet salad is great (maybe create a larger portion that can be a main course) and the birdies were a nice treat.
Special night! Expert chefs! Loved it
They sat us immediately, had good service, great food, and paid attention to our special request/reservation notes.
Excellent, people were really friendly, bar was fast service. Outside patio was nice ambiance. Scottish eggs were excellent.
The service was excellent, we had a problem and it was resolved in 5 mins. Very impressive
Love the Bloody Mary bar and French press coffee.
We were excited about this place and it did not disappoint! The grandad old fashioned was fantastic, and the fish and chips and shepherds pie were so so amazing. Highly recommend this place! Great service, fun environment, and the food is delicious comfort pub food.
Good place for lunch. Fish n chips was very good although not the best in town according to my English mother. Minor criticisms: entry not the best for wheelchairs with a steep incline, that rancid old split beer smell hits you as you enter, Apr 26 was a cool and windy day and inside it was actually pretty cool even cold to where had to wear my coat which is rarely the case with me. Otherwise the staff was very prompt, courteous and friendly. Overall good but we won't be rushing back there.
I felt like I was in Scotland. Food was great. Service was wonderful! Thanks, we will be back.
The food was terrible. The waiter never even offered to try something different.
My husbands was just ok. I could not eat mine and left it it was sickening. There was
a very bad smell in the restaurant. When I left our clothes smelled and hair. Immeditately came home
and showered. Never again.
Always a pleasant and wonderful restaurant. Brunch is definitely worth going here for.
Great atmosphere, excellent food, attentive service. What more do you want? Definitely try the Scotch Egg.
The food was good and on time after the order. I feel it is a bit expensive for what it is.
From appetizers to dessert everything was outstanding. Delicious food. Fast and attentive servers. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
As always, the food was fantastic. Had the Bangers & Mash for the first time and will order it again.
We enjoyed our brunch at Scottish Arms. We both liked our food quite a bit. I did find myself wishing that my dish came with some fruit or a bit of a salad. We did feel that our service was not the best. It wasn’t terrible and also not great. Also, when my companion asked for her egg to be cooked more fully, that request was met with an unsmiling “all right”. We will be very happy to return to the Scottish Arms and give it another try.
Great evening at the SA. Service was spot on, food was outstanding and they treated us like royalty. Price was an exceptional value IMHO.
Our waitress made some awesome drink suggestions for us. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was really cool. We will definitely be back.
Our table of 5 was placed away from the lunch crowd so we were able to have important conversations. The waiter was courteous and did not intrude during conversations.
The food was well presented and everyone enjoyed their selections.
I ma never disappointed when I dine at the Scottish Arms!
Frank was a very attentive waiter. Food was well prepared and presented. On Sundays there is a nice trio playing Scottish and Irish ballads fiddlers etc. Very interesting experience.
Brunch group had a great time. Our server was great at anticipating our needs and we never ran out of coffee or mimosas!
Near perfect evening. Bar area was very loud, but that was the patrons, not the staff.
I booked a business dinner for four on a Tuesday night looking for a casual place with good food and the Scottish Arms did not disappoint. It has a great pub ambiance and very friendly proprietors. Our server was excellent and had great recommendations from the menu. Unfortunately, they were out of the two dishes I really wanted to try which seemed unusual since they were on the main menu. We ended up having the Scottish appetizer sampler plate which was very tasty and great to share. I had the pork chop which was perfectly done with a nice mushroom sauce. The beer list was small, but adequate. The whisky list was extensive with excellent selections. I wish I had more time to sample it, but it was a Tuesday.
We came during a downtime so it was slower. The server was nice and told us about the building when we asked about its history. Plates were delicious, and one plate was definitely split-able between two people.
Dinner before theater, food arrived quickly and at correct temperature, great service, excellent food, nice ambiance. Definately will go back
This is a great restaurant for all occasions!!
Atmosphere was awesome. Service was great too. Food was good but not incredible. Still would recommend checking out, very unique for the St. Louis area.
Phenomenal comfort dishes, closeknit pub feel
Always a great bite to eat as well as a great place to drink top shelf Scotch.
Warm atmosphere, friendly service, and a comfort food menu. There was a small, but well-selected wine list, also. First place in St. Louis I've seen our favorite Montalcino Rosso varietal, so it was worth the trip for us!
Great place. Frank was an awesome waiter. Our table was ready when we arrived and initial contact with Frank was quick and professional.
fabulous food drink and service. music could be turned up a bit to cover the chatter and lighting is dark since im night blind and i couldnt see what i was eating, but all in all didnt care cause it tasted so good
Always good food and great service, a long time favorite in the CWE
