On a snowy January 4, 1969 some 170 Buffalonians attended our opening night. Since then, The Scotch 'N Sirloin has established a proud tradition of serving the Queen City the finest steaks, prime rib and seafood, and has earned the reputation as Buffalo's Steakhouse.

Steaks are hand-cut and aged on premise, slow-roasted prime rib, wine and cocktails at moderate prices.

You'll discover Scotch 'N Sirloin is known for fresh fish and seafood too, as well as other non - beef dishes. You'll enjoy your visit to the Scotch 'N Sirloin because we make it an evening when you're dining out.

Service was good. We were seated immediately. Waiter was cordial, and helped us with the menu. Steak was cooked to order, and came out hot. Overall, a pleasant evening.

It's an old standard for us and it's very comfortable. I had the prime rib and it was cooked perfect and it was a great cut. That's not always the case. What is consistent is the service. Our server Michael was fantastic. He was pleasant, professional, and was just a great person. They also carry a nice Kendal Jackson cab at a reasonable price.

The restaurant and open table reservations were an absolute farce. When we got to the restaurant they would not honor our reservation / showed them the confirmation # and email and they said they did not have the reservation and refused to seat us. They said we had a 25 minute wait and we left. We were celebrating a special birthday and they ruined our evening. Would not use open table or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Go-to restaurant for me and my husband. Went for our "date night" (we've been married 39 years). As always, a great meal with excellent service. Used a Group-On.
The cocktail waitress is a gem as was our server Abbey. Would recommend this restaurant to family and friends in a heartbeat. The lighting is a little dim when you enter but your eyes quickly adjust. French onion soup is a must order item. Husband has the shrimp cocktail and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We both had the steak special which was supposed to be 10 ounces but was closer to 1 pound! SO good. Do not hesitate to come here. Reservations are recommended as this place gets busy! ENJOY!

Awesome! I took 15 minutes to do a review but at the end, the Open Table review section failed. It said "Try again later."

The restaurant is dated and needs updating food and service were ok but the menu selections was limited. We were the only people in the entire restaurant on a Friday at noon so either no one knows that they're opened or people are deciding to go to other restaurants in the area

This is a local classic restaurant that never fails to please. A great alternative to the crowded and noisey chain steakhouses. Our server, Joe was very professional and spirited. He was so knowledgeable of not only the food, but the history of the place. Our steaks were done to perfection, the apps were exceptional and dessert was to die for. Will definitely go there again and again!!

Surprised that there was no apology when we asked the waitress if we could have a different glass of water because there was a fly in one of our water glasses.

The food was great, as was the service, both in the bar and at the table.
It was a very warm evening and the air conditioner wasn't very effective, which made it less than comfortable.

I have been coming here since the restaurant opened. I feel as if this last visit was somewhat lacking. The steaks were not of the greatest quality...they were good, not outstanding. Drinks were way over-priced. Having said this, our waiter was awesome.

It was awful it was disappointing .. not like I remembered it from years ago.. meat was raw and sent back returned burned out the outside and still raw in the middle like cold raw !

Food was wonderful feel the steak needed seasoning really had no taste. I had to put salt on it and I do not salt my food.

We thoroughly enjoyed Scotch & Sirloin. A great steakhouse with incredible prime rib & steaks. Our #1 choice for our next dinner out at a top quality steakhouse. Reservation honored on time and staff is wonderful.
